Mike I agree don't get me wrong, it's just when I read scripture of the fruit of the spirit it put a whole 180deg turn on me (eventually) to how I fought that war. First and foremost is we have been given the revelation of Jesus Christ as Lord. There is unity in knowing that.

God watches over His word jealously, He will be the righteous judge. I love how Jesus says if we teach not these things rightly we would be the least in heaven, there's room for grace even in that aspect given. But if doctrine leads one away from the cross and dismisses Jesus as the lamb of God then that's a false doctrine.

As I said so many times, just because people see the cross differently is just where others are at, they will catch up if they trust Jesus to lead them and not what man says. Many a testimony of people changing, renewing and refining the grafted Word planted in us to conform to be more like Him than ourselves, I'm sure He has with you not just me.

And mike, I'm sorry if I hurt you brother, truely, I have no biff with you, Satan has one with us but only we can choose if we give him that victory to divide, I spit in his face as I tread on his head is my choice.



As believers our life is not out own because we have been bought with a price (1Cor 6:19,20), neither do any of these threads belong to us that we can make demands that others not post. I have made that demand before but it is not mine to make. That is a little stiffnecked if you ask me. Be gracious, because love endures and believes all things and lays its life down even unto those that oppose it. As a disciple, get the basin out and wash his feet instead of asking him to leave the room. Are we not to wash one another's feet being left an example by our Lord Jesus Christ (Jn 13:14).

Call the mod squad lol mike. It's a forum you don't own brother.

As I stated before on other threads, the argument of cessation not defined left me wondering at best of times and having to remind myself that Gods spirit is alive. Poor communication, so intent on tearing down false beliefs forgetting to give glory where glory is due. Just my simple observation. I have few pms as to whether people believed in Gods spirit being so confused by the argument, replying them that they do believe their just fixed on the false stuff.

I still remind myself to remember that :)

I believe in Unity in Christ with the recognition that everyone is on a different point in their walk with Christ.

We all come from a different place in life and have different task to accomplish in this world before these bodies die and we spend eternity with our Lord and Savior.

IT is for a purpose for if you did not live your life, if you did not have a Test you would have not Testimony to share with others. to help others come out of the sin and the transgressions that Jesus saved you from.

IF you say you have NEVER sinned in your WHOLE life, then you are deluding yourself and need to either read the Bible again and learn what the laws of GOD truly are and how you fall so short and how you really NEED Jesus to have died on the cross for the propiation of your sins, or you need to ask someone you trust and love who will tell you the TRUTH what your faults are.

as for doctrine... well i remember listening to a sermon from Spurgeon that if people truly sought JESUS there would be no demoninations but truly ONE church united under JESUS and reading in the BIble that dissension is due to the FLESH not because the Bible is hard to understand but that people try to understand the BIble through their FLESH and not through the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT. they do not relie on JESUS and His words and inspiration to teach but use their preconceived notions to bring others into subjectation to themselves and not placing themselves and their OWN thoughts and strongholds into subjecation to Christ and HIS knowledge.

Abiding you know me as well as any person here. So this is from my heart...
I love Jesus as much as I can, but for me to love Him more I guess he has to give me more love!
But about the doctrine... Well there is only ONE Doctrine... And the Teacher of this doctrine writes it on the hearts of those THAT SEEKS HIS WILL! You see doctrine is the UNDERSTANDING of faith! Doctrine is what makes you believe!

And because people do not understand the teachings the same, there is difference of opinion. (becasue this opinions is about faith, it is called docrine) To have ONE opinion (Doctrine) the people has to be in ONE SPIRIT! And this is why I believe a lot less people is IN THE SPIRIT than you! So many teach, maybe like me, too soon about Jesus! They get this Idea and it becomes their doctrine. And Satan has a field day wbout this.

Different doctrine devides, false teachings devides, Satan devides, sin devides, false faith devides, little love devides. All devision is DEATH!!! Sin is seperating us from God! Any seperation from God means DEATH...

God said to Adam if you sin you shall die... And he did! The moment he ate of the tree he died!!! He was seperated from eternal life right there. See how sin kills? The seperation that sin brings is DEATH!...Jesus said you will die in your sin! That means sin already made you dead!

How can sinners agree? ALL the time? Even if they commit different sin, they are again devided! Sin brings devision not only between God and the sinner, but also in the house of sinners... God said if there is strife in a house the house cannot stand... that is why the house of sinners...Satan's house cannot stand! But the HOUSE OF GOD... HIS KINGDOM...That will stand forever because there is NO FIGHTING within!

Now unity in Doctrine and Faith...

If we do not agree on what to pray God, how can we agree on what God will do for us? If we do not even agree on what God is wanting from us, how can we ask the same thing? How will we ever be in agreement if we do not even acknowledge the Prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray?

How can we ask God for something if we do not even agree on what to ask Him...???

Well let me show you what I pray, and the one that does not agree with this, I do not know what to say.

Abiding I do not go to a church for 14 years now
I only read the Bible for 14 years now
I do not listen to sermons and read nothing people wrote on the www
I only joined this site about two years ago
I went into seclusion and rad the Bible from the beginning, not asking any man anything.
I was NEVER indoctrinated by ANY church.
I did not spend enough time in any church in my life
If you seek a man that started the Bible without knowing ANYTHING about Jesus when he started...I am your man.

So when I started to believe that we can actually live a sinless life here, I was not given this idea from a man's doctrine...
And 14 years ago i knew not ONE SINGLE PERSON THAT AGREED!!!! NOT ONE!!!
But thenIi started reading the Word. And all the Word did, was to EMPHESIZE THIS FACT!!!

And today I can PRAISE GOD that His will is now being teached more abundantly than I thought would happen in my life-time.
Today I know a few people with the exact same belief as I have.


So if we all in CC come together and we pray. Let me show you waht I want to pray...

So I pray this...

Our Father .. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE FATHER OF JESUS IS MY FATHER, AND THAT WE ARE HIS BROTHERS, AND THAT WE AGREE THAT HE IS THE FATHER OF OUR HOUSE AND HIS WILL IS OUR COMMANDMENTS...

which art in heaven,... NOW WE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE IS IN HEAVEN, AND BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THIS AND THAT HE IS OUR FATHER, WE KNOW HE IS OUR FATHER BECASUE WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS,, AND JESUS SAID THOSE THAT LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS AND THE FATHER WILL LOVE HIM AND WE WILL MAKE OUR ABODE WITH HIM, SO THEY MADE MY HEART THEIR HOME, AND THEN HEAVEN IS IN MY HEART...

Hallowed be thy name. ... ..HIS NAME IS HALLOWED IN MY HEAT. MY HEART IS HOLY BECAUSE MY HEART IS IN HIM AND HE IN MY HEART. HE HAS GIVEN MY HEART JESUS CHRIST... THE HALLOWED NAME...

Thy kingdom come... THY KONGDOM COME... IF IT IS IN MY HEART, IT CAME FOR ME, IF IT IS NOT THEN I SHOW MY WILLINGNESS THAT IT IS WELCOME IN MY HEART... AND I SHOULD PRAY THIS AS THE FATHER TEACHES.. PRAY AS THOUGH YOU ALREADY RECIEVED IT... SEE... THEN...

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven... THIS EVEN MORE-SO ASK GOD TO LET HIS WILL BE DONE IN ME 9MY HEART THAT MIGHT STILL BELONG TO THE EARTH (WORLD) AND WE KNOW THE WHOLE WORLD LIES IN INIQUITY...SIN... BUT HERE I SHOW MY LOVE FOR HIM THAT I WANT HIM TO HAVE HIS WILL ASPIRE IN ME, AS IN HEAVEN... FATHER LET THOW WILL BE DONE...MAT 5:48 IS HIS WILL...BE PERFECT.

Give us this day our daily bread.... WE ALL AGREE THAT THIS BREAD IS JESUS, AND TO ALL WHO ARE NOT YET MATURED, THEY NEED THIS BREAD AS FOOD TO GROW TO THE FATHER'S WILL. THIS IS THE ONLY BREAD THAT WILL MATURE YOU, AND YOU NEED IT DAILY... UNTIL YOU ARE IN HEAVEN AND HEAVEN IN YOU...

in the case of God He should always be FIRST and we should be made to agree with HIM not Him with us.

For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? Alex, Ananda, Chris and all the others... I can only love you because God puts His love in me, and yes... His Truth truely will unite us Look what Jesus said... I am the way the Truth and the Life... The Way is how we grow in Truth, to love and live a Life that well pleaes God!
May God's Way, grow to only Truth in me so that I can live for Him only... God said if you ask in my will... Jesus taught us that prayer, so... I only pray what Father wants me to pray... If Father agrees my heart MEANT this prayer, there is no WAY that the Truth shall not make me free to LIVE a LIFE same as Jesus...
May my whole heart, soul and spirit, mean this prayer. if not...God change that as well please...

I used to love being the stirrer of emotions and promote devision, now I find myelf trying my best to be a peacemaker and with the knowledge of the Truth I am amazed how powerful my effords becomes.

I say this as encouragement for Ananda and Alex and Abiding and all the others.. And I say this with ALL the glory to the work God does on me, and the power of His Truth... Twice now I went into the chatroom and without listening what goes on, I will greet the people and say something, it will be Word, and I will speak of my own experience, and immediatly peace was restored in the room. Then people would start to bless me with all types of remarks, and I will feel really awkward, and will leave immediately.

I feel then like people want to give me credit, and like Paul i can only give praise to the cross of Jesus. I do not like compliments and praises, I do not even like Amen's, but sometimes i give it three times to others, just as acknowledgements for TRUTH!!!

Lord Jesus praize to You and ALL Your work. Thank You for being the POTTER. Amen!

Give honor where honor is due tribute where tribute is due. The Lord knows our hearts.
And He wants us to encourage each other. Sometimes thats telling them when they
have blessed us. And in a possibly rough day, its nice to hear and can make a difference,
And the Father isnt jelious in this He is glorified. :)

I find it particularly interesting that in one of the great passages about unity in the church, where Paul compares us to a body, with various parts fitting together to make a functioning whole, he includes the importance of sound doctrine.

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love (Eph. 4:11-16, [emphasis added]).

So if we’re supposed to grow up into Christ, think for a moment about Christ and tolerance. Would we hear Him say, Can’t we all just get along? Not likely.

I suspect He saw a good bit of bickering from His disciples. After all, they discussed who would be the greatest in the kingdom, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee tried to do an end-around to get her boys into privileged positions.

That kind of self-promotion was the thing Jesus wanted them to do away with, I believe. Leadership was to mean servanthood, and the greatest was to get on his knees beside a basin of water to wash his brother’s feet.

Nowhere do I see Jesus telling His disciples to take a soft stand on truth. Instead, He was rather in-your-face about the matter. He spoke regularly and authoritatively from Scripture, and His pronouncements divided people. He knew this would be the case.

What He wanted, though, was those believing the truth to stand together, to serve each other, to look out for one another’s interests, not just their own.

That’s the love the church needs, not the “Can’t we all just get along,” pseudo love the world calls tolerance. That’s the love that will let people know what “Christian” really means.

Your right. But we can agree to love because we are commanded to do so by God. Whether we agree or not on teachings. And we can pray for God to help ones who live in false teachings. This we should all be doing.

this is not an exclusivity issue! yet why does the doctrine of sound doctine divide so much? LOL!

it's about inclusivity (unity and love) WITHIN right beliefs about God. where do we find out what He has said about Himself?

a) our own understanding
b) a crystal ball
c) osmosis
d) the Bible

will the Holy Spirit EVER confirm wrong beliefs about God?

I find that calls for unity are often used to gain acceptance for bad doctrine, by unsaved or week Christians. Also when leaders take inappropriate actions they will call for unity. Only when you have good doctrine and purpose, will unity promote the kingdom of God.

but...they claim to be saved christians.
do they have the right Jesus and the right Gospel?
where does doctrine (just meaning teaching/good or bad) come in?

there's a revival going on in my church and the theme is "return to the sound doctrine" if we are all serving the same God and reading the same bible shouldn't all us believe in the same things? so what is the sound doctrine anyways?
in 1 tim. 1 paul tell us what is contrary to the sound doctrine

8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

so what is the sound doctrine?

we sit so much on religion and what they believe, that we have forgotten the sound doctrine and form our own doctrines how can we be unify in God if we not believe the same thing, it's impossible
