Do we need to confess continuously,or Is once enough.

That all sounds so very "accusing."


Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,

Jesus is our lawyer standing beside the Father to show all that His Blood paid for it all.

This is the same word used in Galatians 2:11 to describe Peter being condemned for his hypocrisy.

​But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed [him] to his face, because he was condemned. Galatians 2:11​
 
Cool...Good one.......Peter's heart knew something against himself....which is probably why we don't see in scripture him arguing with Paul about his hypocrisy...

Same word used in Deuteronomy 25:1 in the Septuagint

And if there should be a dispute between men, and they should come forward to judgment, and [the judges] judge, and justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked: Deuteronomy 25:1​
 
.....I heard through the grapevine that we have a New Covenant now......so now Christians are "the wicked )..oh brother....I'm pretty sure that Jesus is still our Advocate now...just sayin'...:)

καταγινώσκω

Theological Dictionary of the New Testament
kataginṓskō, akatágnōstos. The verb means “to note,” “to see something in someone,” “to know to be guilty,” “to judge,” “to take a low view of.” It is rare in the LXX, where it means “to condemn” (Dt. 25:1) and “to scorn” (Prov. 28:11). Condemnatory self-knowledge is the point in 1 Jn. 3:20–21. “Detected” (or “condemned”) is the meaning in Gal. 2:11. akatágnōstos means “one against whom no fault can be alleged or accusation sustained”; it occurs in the NT only in Tit. 2:8.

False characterization. Christians doing wickedness doesn't turn them into children of the devil. Jesus is our advocate to whom we can always turn to for forgiveness when our heart condemns us for wrongdoing.

There is no condemnation for us. None. Zero. Nada. Zilch.

We will never be judged judicially for sin - Jesus took all of God's wrath for us.

God says to all who trust in His Son; "Not Guilty!"

We have been declared righteous.

If we are in any way guilty, then we can be condemned.

So why feel guilty if we are not guilty?
