The last three letters of his name is Nez= Nezzy, get it now.

Why don't you show some respect and refer to people by their proper handle or at least ask if it is ok first. You wouldn't like it if we referred to you in whatever manner we chose.

Btw. I'm not Sawdie. My friends call me Dusty but you can call me sawdust.

Your argument regarding that verse has never been who knows the answer to the question so why you are wasting space with this now, I don't know.

I have twisted nothing, ruach can mean breath, fact! Context and comparison demands understanding. You ignore, deny and misrepresent (as shown below) God's word.

Ecclesiastes 3:21
HEB: מִ֣י יוֹדֵ֗עַ ר֚וּחַ בְּנֵ֣י הָאָדָ֔ם
NAS: knows that the breath of man
KJV: Who knoweth the spirit of man
INT: Who knows the breath afflicted of man

It also says:
1. wind
2. by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation
3. (figuratively) life, anger, unsubstantiality
4. by extension, a region of the sky
5. by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being (including its expression and functions)

And you NEVER acknowledge the other four meanings to hone in on your one pick and worse still, is you deliberately misrepresent the meaning of an actual spirit for it only relates to a rational being. Ergo, animals do not have a spirit, therefore it is not talking about actual spirits in man or beast as shown in the above translations.

Are we going to get a body like His? We are made in the image of God the Son who is Spirit, Soul and Body. All things were created through, by and for Him. We are not made in the likeness of the Father who is Spirit only, if we were, we would not be souls. No-one has seen the Father except the Son, we see the Father only through the Son because we are made in the Son's image.

As for the rest of your post, once again, you completely ignored my question because you know you have no answer.

It seems the best you can do is ramble on with something that has no bearing on whether man is born with a human spirit or whether he gains one when he is born from above upon believing the Gospel.

People can see for themselves your deceptive and dismissive handling of God's word, I need say no more. It's shameful.

grace and peace
We will need bodies for one thing only, to, legally, live here on earth. Heaven will not be our home. That's why the Word "put on flesh", why evil angels had to inhabit the bodies of men. " With my soul have I desired Thee in the night; yea, WITH MY SPIRIT WITHIN ME will I seek thee early: for when Thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness." Isaiah 26:9 The Holy Spirit inspired Isaiah to write this, argue with Him. Isaiah knew he had a spirit, but you don't, SMH. Other than this subject, aren't YOU a rational being. If yes, than you have a spirit, even before you received Christ. For only a rational being. man, has a spirit, and there are rational beings who have not received Christ as their Savior, yet. " For the destiny of humankind and the destiny of animals are one and the same, As one dies, so dies the other. Both have the same breath- a human has no advantage over an animal-both are fleeting. Both go to one place. Both were taken from dust, and both return to the dust. Who knows that the spirits of the sons of man ascends upward and the animal's spirit descends into the earth?" Ecc. 3:21 Messianic Tree of Learning Version. Again, I, in many posts, have answered you questions. What question do you want me to answer, again? " We are made in the image of God the Son." Why did you leave out the Father and the Holy Spirit? God, the Father, clearly stated," Let US make man in OUR image and after OUR likeness." All three parts of the Godhead, the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, when the Father spoke this, and when They made man, were in Spirit form, the Word had not" put on flesh" yet. AND I'M BEING DECEPTIVE???

And now you. Sawdust is your proper handle? Sawdust is sometimes used to clean up liquid waste. But OK, no offence intended.

P.S. We are made in the image of the Father, that's why we are spirits who possess souls and live in bodies. God is a Spirit, who possesses a soul, we need bodies to legally live here on earth.

We will need bodies for one thing only, to, legally, live here on earth. Heaven will not be our home.

John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Philippians 3:20
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

The Holy Spirit inspired John to write this. Argue with him.

Isaiah knew he had a spirit, but you don't,

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

I know Isaiah had a spirit for he was born from above which is how he could see the Kingdom of God. The Pharaoh of Egypt did not have a spirit because he could not see what the Lord God was doing.

YOU a rational being. If yes, than you have a spirit,

Is an animal? Yet you want spirit to be translated one way and then want it translated another way in the next breath (pun intended). That is not how you translate in a comparison.

Again, I, in many posts, have answered you questions

No you haven't. You give me your interpretation of how things work without addressing the actual issue.
How do the spiritually dead hear? That is what they are, dead in their sin, scripture says so. You just say "you heard".
How do animals have spirits when they are made from the elements of the earth and not born of God? No explanation.
How did the scripture writers see the Kingdom of God before them if they are not born of God? No explanation.

All three parts of the Godhead, the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit,

Based on that logic we should be spirit, spirit, soul, spirit and body.

when the Father spoke this, and when They made man, were in Spirit form, the Word had not" put on flesh" yet

Christ is the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. He did not have to wait for time to catch up in order to create man as intended.

AND I'M BEING DECEPTIVE???

Yes, you deliberately left out that spirit as you want it translated is only applicable to a rational being yet you keep claiming animals have spirits. Why will you not address your error?

Sawdust is sometimes used to clean up liquid waste.

Correct and that is exactly what I am doing.

So are you saying that the blood is the spirit?

Nooooo... I am saying that whatever is the life of the man goes UP!
The animal's goes down!

Do you see blood going up when a man dies?
No you do not.

What goes up then?
It is INVISIBLE!
The "soul."

So where does man's life reside?

......

Wasn't that mystery, the scripture which you partially posted," To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you the Hope of glory:" Coll. 1:27?
Christ in you the hope of glory is the riches of the glory of the mystery ...

Colossians 1:25-28

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

vs 25 – Paul was a made a minister to fulfill the word of God.

vs 26 – Paul was a minister to reveal the mystery to believers.

vs 27 – the "riches of the glory of the mystery" is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

vs 28 – it is in the Lord Jesus Christ that the believer is perfected.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head over His one body ...

Ephesians 3:2-12

2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

All born again ones are one body in the Lord Jesus Christ over which He is the Head ... in Him are unsearchable riches ... we will never come to the end of Him.

And instead of standing together in one united body exhibiting the manifold wisdom of God unto principalities and powers in heavenly places, some who claim to be born again believers argue and bicker and say things about other believers that ought not to be said.

All members of the body of Christ are set in the body where it has pleased God ... all members are needful and necessary ... no part of the body is to be cut off as if unneeded ...

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

14 For the body is not one member, but many.

15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?

20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.

21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Some scriptures might indicate, but none, that I know of, distinctly says they WERE saved. They are now. Question, in your GotQuestions, in bold print(yours), you say that the OT believers, Jew and Gentile will occur at the second coming. Yet the Bible says that " For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ SHALL RISE FIRST. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thess. 4:17. You say that the OT believers WERE saved but you say that they won't be resurrected until the second coming. So they must not be "in Christ", because the dead " in Christ " rise first.
The dead in Christ spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 are those who have been born again on or after Day of Pentecost during this period of time which was hid from prophets of old who "enquired and searched diligently" concerning "the grace that should come unto you" (1 Peter 1:10) and in whom the "Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow" (1 Peter 1:11).

In the Daniel scripture it says that " And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Dan. 12:2 It doesn't give a timeline of when they shall awake.
Daniel 12:1-2

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

fulfilled at the end of "the time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that time". Jesus talked about this time as well (Matthew 24:21-22).

Do they all awake at the same time? I can't tie in Isaiah 26:9 with this subject, must be above my pay grade:-))
try Isaiah 26:19.

Wrong. Show me where we are called spirits?
1) The new Jerusalem, a heavenly prepared place, WILL COME DOWN TO EARTH and The Father and the Word(Son) will, with us, dwell therein. If you know scripture you know this. So we will dwell in a heavenly place, on earth. 2) When was Isaiah " born from above? 3) No, an animal is not a rational being, only man has this spirit, because he is rational. Spirit is translated in different ways. We've been through this before but compare Greek 4151 pneuma which can mean a currant of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by anal. or fig. a SPIRIT i.e. (HUMAN), the RATIONAL soul (by impl.) Vital principle...... with Greek 5590 psuche: breath, i.e. (by impl) spirit, abstr. or concr. ( THE ANIMAL SENTIENT PRINCIPLE ONLY; THUS DISTINGUISHED FROM 4151 WHICH IS THE RATIONAL AND IMMORTAL SOUL..... Man and animals have differing spirits, but spirits nonetheless. 4) "How do the spiritually dead hear?" " My Words unto you they are SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE." John 6:63. God can't raise the dead to life? If you say no, than what about that valley of dry bones? Lazarus? the Shunammite son that God raised from the dead through Elisha? Etc., Etc. 5) Animals having spirits? see #3 6)" How did the scripture writers see the Kingdom of God before them if they were not born of God?" Explain this, " Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth. Peace be multiplied unto you. I thought it good to show the signs and wonders that the High God hath wrought toward me. How great are His signs! and how mighty are His wonders! HIS KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, and His dominion is from generation to generation." Was Nebuchadnezzar born from above? Did he see Gods' kingdom? 6) The Father, Word and the Holy Spirit were , in Gen.1:26, in Spirit form and all had souls. The Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world in Gods' plan, only. Of course it came to pass, but thousands of years later. The Word had not yet put on flesh . In Their image and after Their likeness was as They were at that present time, in Spirit form. He then formed mans body from the dust of the earth and blew the breath of life, spirit and soul (Their image), into his nostrils and man became a living soul. But the life emanates from the spirit through the soul, which "BECAME a living soul" 7) When sawdust cleans up liquid waste what does it become? Waste.

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Jesus talked about this time as well (Matthew 24:21-22).

try Isaiah 26:19.

.
" The dead in Christ spoken of in 1 Thess. 4:17 are those who have been born again on or after the day of Pentecost.........." Seems to indicate that no one before the day of Pentecost was in Christ, even though the Spirit of Christ was sometimes in them.

Waste.

It was already waste, doesn't become waste because I clean it up. You make as much sense when dealing with practical things as you do when dealing with spiritual things.

I'm not even going to try and sort that mess above out.

Does the Bible say that the body without the soul is dead?

No, it says the body without breath/vitality is dead.

That is a description of how we are made up, it isn't calling us spirits.

Don't let anyone distract you with his obsession.
Most of us are not fooled by his erroneous concept.

If he insists... Leave him with what he says he wants to believe...
In that way, we can minimalize the disruptiveness that such a person wishes to establish.

John 4:24 tells us, God is Spirit.
Genesis 1:26-27
27.So God created mankind in his own image...

You must not know?

The Son is both soul and Deity in union, eternally.
To create man as a soul? Was to create man in His image...
And, we know that all things created had been created through the Son!

The Son had been soul and Deity in union as the Lord God of Israel!
That was.... Before the Incarnation.

Look here!

And they began to remove the foreign gods from their midst and to serve Jehovah,
so that his soul became impatient because of the trouble of Israel. Judges 10:16
Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone
loving violence his soul certainly hates." Psalm 11:5
“Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons,
the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred
meeting. Your New Moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; They are a trouble
to Me, I am weary of bearing them.. Isaiah 1:13-14

That is OT! He was being two natures in union before the Incarnation took place!
The Incarnation simply provided a human body for the Son's soul to make himself become as a man.
