I just did my grocery shopping. Tomorrow morning, I plan to go to my favorite thrift shop just to browse around. I also plan to talk on the phone with my closest loved one, making plans for my late fall/winter stay. And I also plan to relax in my lounge chair and watch the hummingbird feeder. I want to get all my hummingbird viewing in before the hummers head south.

Is it another weekend already? 😱
Does anyone else feel like time is moving faster the older they get?

Anyway, I plan to do some cleaning this weekend and put together a new shelf for my coffee station. It's going to be another hot weekend (still in the 100s), but I still plan to relax in the lounge for at least a little while and watch the hummingbirds.

Found some cute Fall decorations and have my windows all decked out (little woodland animals, pumpkins, owls, etc.)

I've always wanted to get one of those big, beautiful decorative wreaths for my front door, but the ones I really like are a bit more than what I'm willing to pay!

P.S. I live in an apartment complex, and my neighbor is growing corn -- out of plastic crates!!!

We've all been curious as to whether it would actually work. They have several tall stalks, and I can see the silk on several large ears of corn growing on their walkway balcony.

Hopefully I'll catch them out one day (I rarely see them,) to ask if they taste as cute as they look!

I must have typed a few words, and hit the wrong button. So my chat never worked. This explains it. Thank you souel searching.

No worries!

We're all learning together. :)

If a thread hasn't been answered in a while, it slips further down into the list of pages of threads posted.

We can't let a good thread like this die before it's time! 😁

I sometimes go the driving range on the weekends. Yesterday, I watched golf. The women were playing in the Solheim Cup. I'll watch an apologetics video on Youtube in the afternoon. I also enjoy going for a walk in one of the local parks. Weekends are a good time to be outside and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.

(KJV Revelation 22:14) "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

tomorrow, my wife & i will indulge in our country music breakfast, atending garage sales, shopping for antiques, ride in the country then dinner at the rain dancer restaurant in amsterdam n.y. on sunday, i will be selling my wares & antiques at creekside flea market in livingstonville new york, which is south of middleberg. if any of you CC members are close to that area, stop by & say "hi". look for a 4 door black chevy pickup truck.
This is the married lifestyle I've been looking forward to.

Haha, really? After such a long wait comes another endless wait, I can only make it happen in my dreams haha
go to your favorite quiet place & cogitate on what you said. 1st, you speak of wish, then you speak failure. do not forecast failure in advance!!!! do you speak this way often? there's no faith in your pursuits. take a guess: all Christians usually have to wait & then when their done waiting, have to wait again. its all part of growing in grace. learn this: "God's timing is perfect, He knows what's best for you & He does what's best for you"! God wants to build you up to be a strong faithful trusting woman. study James 1:2,3,4! i asked God for a wife & the Holy Spirit said in about 3 to 4 years! sure enough, it took 204 weeks, almost the whole length of time. there are 208 weeks in 4 years!!!

I'm so glad that you met your wife so early. I've been waiting for...4015days,I'm pretty sure God has prepared a marriage for me, but I can hardly meet someone in my current circumstances. I've been preparing myself well in Christ and waiting in faith, but it's really not easy.

I pretty admire the couple who can spend wonderful and joyful weekends and holidays together. Your comments are exactly what I look forward to, but it seems so far away from me. I feel so happy just looking at your words.
