I dont go to the christian young peoples forum which is for silly people as it says on the forum.

I fully agree with your estimation. And yes, I was in my early twenties.
 
Oldies are always having coffee, at church they have TWO weekly coffee groups a separate one for men and one for women and I always wondered why they just dont have one big group.

I think its so the husbands can talk about man things and the wives can gossip with each other.
 
This is why I dont really tag along to coffee groups.

A dance yes, but coffee...yea nah.

I blame my older brother, before I knew how to order coffee myself , one year around Christmas he said here...try this.... it was an iced White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks. It was like Christmas in a cup. For a long time, thats all I'd get... then one day the seasonal peppermint wasn't available anymore.... so then it just became a Iced white mocha... its strong and good :D

There is a starbucks opened up the road on the corner and I havent been to it.
I know some people who would rush on in as soon as the doors open lol

I keep having to tell people I do not drink coffee but they keep asking me out for coffee.

I do not see the appeal honestly I would rather save up money and go to yum cha.

It's Chinese or more specifically Cantonese.
Yes Dim Sum is what you eat, yum cha is what you drink, it literally means 'drink tea'.

Thai cuisine does not have yum cha. I like thai food too, but they don't have the chinese tea drinking culture. They are more likley to serve you tom yum, which is like a hot and sour soup, and always have chilis and lemon grass and coriander and fish sauce in their cuisine.

Chinese flavours are soya sauce, garlic and ginger. The tea is usually jasmine tea, which is green tea.

The only milk they would have is soya bean milk. No cows/cattle in China. The main meat is pork.
Tibet has yaks.

If you want to know more, could start a whole thread, but then I already posted a lot in the 'exotic foods' thread. To me, European and American food is exotic. lol
