Made my own 50th birthday cake.

Got 3 drinking cups with 50 on them, two of them were identical.
Just need another one and I will have a set of four! I suppose I will have
to get use to old person’s presents from now on. When what I really
wanted is the latest games console. Or a paid for weekend to try
parachuting. Lol 😁

Yup, I felt about the same way a few months ago when I turned 40. So now I know it won't change and I'll feel the same when I get to 50.

Have you ever seen what it does to a cat when you give the cat a lot of fresh milk? An hour and a half later he's locked in the bathroom with the fresh milk scoots.

I learned that one time with a kitten I was trying to be nice to. After the aftermath was over I googled and found out that wasn't such a good idea. That's the problem with google, it only tells you AFTER you ask.

Happy birthday to you. That cake looks to nice to eat, maybe freeze it and serve it for your 60th birthday party. You can even leave the 50 on, no need to change it. You look really good for being 50. :)

It's actually a very salty spread that is made from leftover brewer's yeast that has celery and onion extract added.

From what I understand it is very much an acquired taste.

For some reason we have a jar of that stuff opened in our pantry. My wife picked it up somewhere before we got married. From what you described it sounds horrible. It will remain unopened. She doesn't remember how she got it, probably picked it up in some yard sale.

Vegemite started as Marmite. Marmite started as a scheme to get rid of used brewer's yeast under the guise of it supposedly being healthy for you.
