your so right about that. i still haven't taken a selfie of myself, don't care about that. my wife takes a bunch of them when we are on vacation but i instruct her not to send them til we arrive home.

i don't know how to send stuff like all you guys. if you want; Siro's is in saratoga on lincoln across from the track, Benjamin's of manhattan is on 52 east 41st, gallagher's is on 228 west 52nd near 8th.

I would say that the menu is classic American dishes and while i do enjoy steak from time to time, it's not something that i would eat everyday. Because i grew up near the water, i eat more seafood generally.
The interior of this place looks nice too. But the menu is a bit selective for me.
I would probably try a filet mignon here cooked well or well done (yes, this is controversial) with baked potatoes and some mushrooms.

Not a bad place.

The interior of this place looks nice too. But the menu is a bit selective for me.
I would probably try a filet mignon here cooked well or well done (yes, this is controversial) with baked potatoes and some mushrooms.

Not a bad place.

And of course their culture is very different too from everyone else. I know some woke leftist went there to "protest" them killing dolphins or whatever they eat over there and i was laughing the whole time with this clueless leftists who goes in the middle of Japan and tries to tell them how to change their lifestyle which they've been doing for centuries.

So, on appearance i wouldn't call this place 'high-end' @Karlon and this gives me Italian-vibes when i see it so not sure what kind of restaurant this is. American or Italian but the one thing i'd get right away on that menu is Scallops.

IT IS VERY HIGH END! believe me. i dined there 100's of times over the decades. in fact, so high end, that they have the best crab legs, lobster, steak, maryland crab cakes & carrot cake that i ever had. when the track is open, fresh, never frozen seafood is brought in daily from the east coast. i don't have to make reservations. when they see me they ask what table i want. don't forget, the way someone is treated adds to the flare. we get the white-glove epicurean treatment. mike stone is a long time friend of mine.

now that you clarified your meaning of high end, yes, there's different meanings. sir's decor is decent, not super.

It looks very high end according to my standards. Not that that's saying much
