What are your guys's point of view on homosexuality?

and also, i do think christians and non-christians shouldnt date for 2 reasons. 1. well, the bible clearly points it out. 2. sooner or later a mixed relationship with non-christians and christians, something without a doubt will occure. there beliefs will soon collide and what will remain will be heartache and paine. so, make your life easy and stick with children of god, not those who speak blasphemy against his will.
 
Oh, and about the whole "judging others" thing

We do not judge homosexuals more than any more than we judge drug addicts, murderers, thieves, liars, cheaters, ect. In fact, we judge homos LESS, because all we do is disapprove, and refuse to give them --EXTRA-- rights. We don't' jail them or anything =S

Example of tolerance- What Christians do now. Claim that homosexuality is wrong, stand by it, and keep it from being SUPPORTED by the government.

Example of religious intolerance- Hate crimes against homosexuals.


Btw, a gay person has just as much of a right to marry a person of the opposite gender as strait people. However, if a strait man wants to go marry another man, he can't. Go figure, we are EQUAL =D

you will be surprised on how little christians who actually fall within that 'we' categories of yours.

A lot of christians easily accept liars, fornicators, murderers, thieves, drug addicts to their church.. but, they kick out gays because they are somehow seen as more abominable.
Some even said the fact they speak funny is because a demon is speaking for them (although they do not realized not all gays speak in a feminine way).

If you knew that it is wrong to behave such a way, then I applaud you... it's very rare to find one such as you and your church.
 
I can't speak for EVERYONE in my church. Well, I can in this church, since my dad's the pastor and it's a REALLY small church... But in other churches, I'm sure there are people within the church that acted in such a poor manner. However, I never run across them, because I happen to be a good judge of character and tend to not hang out with the pricks like that anyway =D lol. They probably just focus they're hate on those they know sin outspokenly, often to hide hidden sin and/or bitterness they have themselves.

And I saw that topic where the demon voices thing was mentioned. I'm pretty sure it was a joke, and it had good intentions, but was possibly inflammatory ~_o I actually think it was actually kinda funny, but yeah =S

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man 1 Corinthians 2:15

I believe what this verse is say is simply that a righteous Christian judges everything what is right and wrong, but at the same time he is blameless. You see so many people say that you should not judge and they are so scared to say wether something is right or wrong but when Jesus said not to judge lest ye be judged, He then went on to say first cast the beam out of thine own eye then you can see to take the beam out of someone elses eye. Jesus was talking about the hypocrite who tells someone that they are wrong when he himself is also in the wrong.

But by saying that a gay person is lost is not passing unBiblical judgement because the Bible even says that the effeminate shall not inherit the kindom of God. How else is God going to work through his people if they don't judge anything.

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge rightious judgement. John 7:24

THANK YOU. I asked my dad (who happens to be a preacher) about this and he told me this, but I forgot the verses, so I didn't wanna try and say anything and sound ignorant lol. I have a friend who supports homosexuality because her "cousin is that way and he can't help it." I told her the Bible says it's wrong (she claims Christianity), and she said the Bible needs to be rewritten. It makes me sad =(

However, in my argument with her, she said not to judge people. Imma pull this one on her Monday and see what she says to THAT ~_o lol

May I see some biblical proof on this please?
 
First, it is difficult to understand how an omnibenevolent being can 'despise' anything...
Second, I think Wug has a good point that all sin is the same. Participating in homosexual activity is a sin on the same level as taking a penny from your Granny's purse. However, us penny stealers are saved through a belief and love for Jesus Christ and welcomed into the kingdom of heaven. Believing in Jesus as God's 'one and only son' is the only qualification. Therefore, all sinners - thieves, murderers, adulterers and homosexuals are saved if they choose to believe in Jesus Christ.

Well, I'm not gay myself, and I know full well that homosexuality is something that God doesn't look kindly upon, but I have some bisexual friends myself and they look so happy when they're with their partners. I can't stand the thought that the pious (however it be spelled) folks out there would trample them for expressing their passion for each other, because of course they are my friends and I think the world of them! For this reason, I don't say anything to them about what they're doing, because I believe that they will learn that what they're doing is dangerous in their own time, and I hope that they will look to God and tell him sorry once they do.

Don't you reckon that we should be quiet about such a sin, if only for the sake of our friends' happiness? I ask anyone who will answer.

So you just accept sin, as long as they're happy? What if they don't find God and ask for forgiveness? If you know what they're doing is sin (no matter what sin it is) yet you don't say anything to them, and they die, then I think their blood would be on your head. Not good.

If they were TRULY your friends and you TRULY cared for their well being, your post would have looked A LOT different. It takes a lot more love to point out someones faults then to tell them what they want to hear.

Well that's exactly what many Christians have been doing lately.. they hide the fact that it's wrong and say it's okay for the sake of their friends or loved ones.. It's wrong that they do that.. No matter what we should always announce publicly the truth, even if it may cause a bad rep for us.. who cares! In the end, we get rewarded for doing the right thing.. But I can admit I do love the people that think it's okay, for they don't know.. I'm friends with some, but that doesn't mean I agree
 
i agree with homosexuality beacause why should love be dictated? i mean i know it is against the bible but still

If its agains't the Bible than it is sin...Point Blank!

Just because someone is in love with the same sex...Don't make it alright. Just like when a 40 year old men is in love with a 14 year old girl. Just cause he and she is in love don't make it right.
 
If ever one meets God in the spirit, and sees Him as He is, all of these questions become meaningless.
