It's "I was." You nailed it! I think the rule is that if the pronoun is singular, you use "was," and if it's plural, then you use "were."

Locked myself out of my work computer twice, had a few lengthy calls to get reset. (Darn expiring passwords)
Just had the best cup of espresso from a Cuban bakery. I annoyed my manager a little by raving about it, I think. Woops. But it's so good.
I spoke with a client whose late former mother in law made provisions to ensure she was taken care of at death, because her ex husband (the son) walked out on their marriage. (If that makes sense) She was so touched. Kind of like Ruth and Naomi, but in reverse. It's so nice to see love and kindness like that.
My sister is coming over after her classes so we can have a late dinner, and then do our hair while watching netflix.
Also, it's FRIDAY

Man, was I really blindsided today! Someone I consider a mentor has been real standoffish and short with me the past two days, but I didn't piece all her actions and comments towards me together until someone else said something about it to me at the end of the day.
I guess I have to be a lot more guarded with this person...it's disappointing.
