I have been browsing the conspiracy threads but I haven't come across much about cern. Cern is that place where they shoot particles together at near light speed, also called the large hadron collider. It's a gigantic complex where they do some of the most groundbreaking science expiriments.. There the ones trying to discover the "god particle".

From my research so far they seem to be quite satanic, from their logo being a 666, them openenly stating they want to open up "dimensional doorways", their mascot being Shiva or one of those Hindu destruction gods, they also put out a shortt film where they seem to be using symbolism to suggest they are trying to birth something into our dimension (possibly satan). There's a few more things I've come across that I will try to write about as I remember.

So what are your thoughts?

Their logo is an illustration of particles smashing together around a big circle. The "God particle" (the name of which is not inherently important, it's properly called "The Higgs-Boson") is the thing which gives matter mass, and they found it a few years ago. They're onto a new project now.

As for the rest, it's just superstition. Particles collide every day, the only difference at CERN is that they can be properly analyzed and studied in a controlled environment.
 
I've heard some alarmists declare that the collider will open a gateway to hell allowing demonic hordes to come up from the bottomless pit as is mentioned in the book of Revelation. My personal take on what will really take place will probably be the projectile Wormwood and the after effects from it's collision. But who really knows except The Almighty Himself :D
 
I actually dont like it when I hear Christians on youtube talk like Cern is some major deal. Its in no way biblical that I have seen so far, and Im 100% sure nothing will come of it. Were already told how the end will come, it wont be from Cern :p And even if they actually do learn something from this thing, it wont affect much for His followers :p

I dont really think Cern is even a big deal :p It has no affect on me, other than the massive amount of money they have spent on something so meaningless :/

It's meaningless in the same way that flying men to the moon is meaningless, or sending space probes to Pluto is meaningless or cracking Tiechmuller theory is meaningless. Yea, sure, it costs a fortune or perhaps it's not really significant or relevant to our current lives, but people aren't doing it for those reasons. It's not for now, and it's not for economic purposes. They're doing it because there's a fundamental predisposition in every human being to ask "what is out there?" "What does it all mean?" "How does it all fit together" And those are fascinating questions, worth exploring.
 
I would agree, going to the moon is totally meaningless :p

The world blames God for poor people who go without, then gather together and gather their resources to walk on the moon, haha that is the world we live in :p
 
As kindly and gently as possible, let me say that we are clearly instructed in scripture what we are to think on, what our focus is supposed to be, what to do with every thought. Having said that, I am just as interested as the next person in various phenomenon. The thing to remember is that nothing seen, discovered, experienced, or thought of is outside of God's per view and His creation. And according to Him in His Word, there is nothing new under the sun.
 
You people shoudl worry less about conspiracies. If you truly believe God is in control what are you worried about?

I've noticed you believe all kinds of weird crap. Why don't you just stick with what the Bible reveals, rather than what it doesn't? Anything else is a waste of time. You're just working yourself up into a lather of paranoia. And that's not spiritually healthy. Conspiracy theories are your idol. Break it down Old Testament style.
 
a particle accelerator does not 'open up dimensional doorways'...we are basically talking about a very strong high tech hammer...

'christians' need to stop thinking that video game plots are respectable eschatology...

a lot of people are getting scared as cern thinks they are nearing the discovery of the fission that caused this whole event. Is cern about to ignite the fission that brought this all about and destroy the entire universe??

The whole idea is rubbish. There are enough problems in the world to focus on without hunting for more. People who are getting cared cant have much belief in God, to think he will sit back and let us destroy his universe.

Right. I think conspiracy theory Christians need to worry less about dissing CERN and learn more disCERN truth from lies.
 
Hello! This topic is interesting. I have had different views on it along the way and I first heard of cern many years ago. Without being long winded I will try to make a short and sweet point about cern. Please ask me to elaborate or shut up about it. Here goes.
Should we be affraid cern may bring; the end of the world due to a tiny black hole that grows and envelopes the earth? Openings to different dimensions or parellel universes of which we have no control or can't stop? Speed up or slow down time space matter? Flip the earth pole to pole? Release biblical fallen angels on earths people?

My answer to this question is NO. I do not beleive the huge machine they call cern will do any sort of calamaty which people have speculated it could.

I would like to put out an interesting thought many of you have probably never heard, (I have not read any of your posts about cern yet (sorry) I just started answering the original question about what are our thoughts. So. A wonderful thing that I am so very grateful for is that we got a series of books given to us by God, Jesus and written by the apostles to answer all these questions science is working so hard to find. Science, which could be thought of as the 21st centuries predominant religion, did not have this grace bestowed to them. They are forced to use mighty brains of man and computer to learn and device ways of figuring out how this all came to be. " how did the universe start "? "Which animal is our closest DNA relative"? " is the earth flat or spherical"? " does it travel in elipses around the sun or in a circle "? " what is the best diet for man"? And I could go on and on.(because my mouth never shuts) : )

As we have trials and tribulations so do they. As our faith is tested so is their faith tested. We have grace they have eureka!

To get a little darker, I would venture to say that I don't think the old serpeant needs any help coming to earth. I don't think his fallen angels need any help escaping the lake of fire. I don't think our enemy needs men to posses. I do however think, that he is swift, cunning, baffling, and has more friends and resources than any man we know. I think he has figured out another way to try to poision us. John 2:15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the father, but is from the world

The old serpeant is smart, he doesn't need to come out of the cern machine as a gigantic invincible dynosaur and cause havoc all over the earth. What if, he could stay in the lake of fire with his minions and tinker in peoples lives just as easily, what if he could cause more pain, deception, heartache, bloodshed, drought, famine, disease, ect without exerting much energy. What if my brothers and sisters? ...... I think you know what if. I think we see it every day. It's the things Christians know about on a widescale but yet we cannot conceive of what to do about it.
That's it! Cern in a nutshell. : ) I could be very naive and be missing something here. One thing I would like to add..... The people who run/started Cern are pretty smart people. One day they were annoyed that they couldn't link all the information from their different hubs around the world together to do their research more efficiently and to communicate an share information instantaneously. So...... they BUILT....... The internet.

Yeah loook it up if you don't think so. Might not be in the first encyclopaedia you find but better yet just call and ask someone who works there.

Unknowingly they may have created our enemies greatest weapon against us.

The most connected we've been in the history of mankind yet we do not know even ourselves.
