But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. - John 1:12-13 KJV

Hearing (understanding) the the word of God, believing in spiritual things, repenting of breaking a spiritual law, confessing your sins, being baptised, praying to a spiritual God, etc. are all products of having been born again to the new spiritual life.

The natural man, before he has been born again cannot know the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him (1 Cor 2:14) (John 10:25-29).

If the scriptures do not harmonize, you do not understand the truths contained in the gospel of Christ.
You have confused knowing "the things of the Spirit of God" with knowing anything at all about God. In Romans 1:19-20, we are told that God has made plain to wicked people His eternal power and divine nature. That contradicts your view of 1 Corinthians 2:14.

By your words, you do not understand the truths contained in the gospel of Christ. Maybe next time, leave off the condemnatory conclusions, lest they bite you!

The New Testament has a three fold priesthood

High priesthood: “Jesus Christ”
acts 10:14
heb 5:1
heb 8:1
heb 8:3

Ministerial priesthood: “apostles & their successors, and those they ordain” (low priests)
Mk 3:14
Jn 15:16
Jn 20:23
acts 1:15-26
acts 14:23
Acts 16:4
Rom 15:16
1 cor 9:14
1 Tim 3:1-2
1 Tim 2:7
1 Tim 4:14
Phil 1:1
James 5:14

Royal priesthood: “baptized members of Jesus Christ”
1 pet 2:5-9

The new covenant was a reformation of the mosaic covenant so it has many similarities. Heb 9:10

Absolve: to forgive sins
I absolv you from your sins in the name of the father and the son and the Holy Spirit. Jn 20:23 2 cor 5:18 1 Jn 1:9 thanks
You Xing a lot of scripture?

There is no such thing as "low priests". I've told you this already, but you refuse to learn. There is no ministerial priesthood in the Christian Church.

As for absolving sins, every human being is empowered to forgive sins done against them. Christians are empowered to speak God's forgiveness over those who have repented. There is no special ministry of absolving sin given only to Christian leaders.
How can there be a high priest unless he is over the low priests

Why do they act in the person of Christ? Thanks

"Ends of the earth" is a spatial reference, not a temporal reference. It refers to geographical limits, not the terminus of the age(s).
How could the original apostles do it without successors?

Don't be ridiculous. Your (parroting of the Catholic) misinterpretation of Scripture is the problem.
Only the church founded by Christ has any authority, and the authority of genuine interpretation
Thanks

The Catholic Church was not founded by Christ. It developed long after Christ ascended to heaven.
Thanks.

VARob said it well. You are confused as to the identity of Christ’s Church.

Jesus only made 12 apostles. And he is the head. the apostles are the foundation stones

Matt 12 is speaking of the church making disciples.. As a member of the body of christ yourself. you should make disciples. so they can make disciples. thats how the church grows.

Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ. God is his Father. You may call Mary the mother of God, but that does not elevate her to a special position of veneration, such as Catholicism does.

Mary was a virgin when she conceived and gave birth to Jesus, but she and Joseph subsequently had sex and gave birth to other children. The Catholic belief that Mary remained a virgin throughout her life is not true.
Lk 1:34 says no sex perpetual virgin.
To Mary is not the mother of God is to say Christ is not God. Thanks

Lk 1:34 says no sex perpetual virgin.
Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

It says Mary was not knowing a man, it does not say she would never know a man.

Matt 1:25 And [Joseph] knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

To Mary is not the mother of God is to say Christ is not God. Thanks
As I said, you can call Mary the mother of God. That does not mean she deserves the veneration the Catholic Church bestows on her.

The "natural," or "soulish" man is the person who does not think about God, but thinks about things of the world. He can change, and decide to seek God, and when he does, he "shall be filled" (Matt 5:6).

The natural man, until he has been quickened to the new spiritual life will not hunger and thirst after spiritual righteousness.

If you will check verse 1, you will find that Jesus is teaching HIS DISCIPLES, not the natural man.

No matter how many times you say it, it will never be true. People are not born again (quickened) until they decide to believe the gospel.

If you will check verse 1, you will find that Jesus is teaching HIS DISCIPLES, not the natural man.
Yes, but Jesus also taught anyone who would listen. As did the other disciples, and Paul. People need to be taught the gospel so they can have a chance to believe it.
