Exactly! Moses accuses unbelievers of the One he wrote about,

the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. Jn.12:58
amen Moses wrote a lot about Jesus and his word to come later

“according to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

And the LORD said unto me, ( Moses speaking ) They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭18:16-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That prophetic writing of Moses with the revelation Of Jesus Christ

“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:22-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and so it makes clear sense when Jesus was saying this he’s the one Moses was writing about , and who the apostles are witnessing about

“a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. “

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s why we need to believe in Jesus he’s the one Moses and the prophets said would come and speak Gods everlasting word of salvstion the messiah and judge of all mankind

he that cometh from heaven is above all…. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:31, 33-36‬ ‭

he’s already set our judgement before us and beckoned us to believe

You are probably wondering why i asked such questions.
Listening to a teaching on the radio that had nothing to do with the law but he used the first verse that i posted.
Jesus came to fulfill the law. It just jumped out at me.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me and asked me. What does this mean to you.
After thinking a little i replied...this is good news to me. Jesus did the work that i am not capable of and imputed this to me....and for all the saints. We are not under the law but under grace.
After a quiet time THE Spirit spoke again and asked is that all? He then brought to remembrance the law has 2 sides
Blessings and cursings which are both from the Lord.
This touched my heart and mind and consumed my thoughts for the rest of the day.
Its hard to put into words but ill try. My understanding is clear but for me to convey has always been a weakpoint.

Many christians avoid the law of God and take advantage of Gods grace sometimes to the point of creating there own god. Ive been guilty of this in not paying attention to scripture and its wording.
The lord says he puts his word above his name. That he is a never changing GOD. That should humble some christians.
The Lord also says he will have mercy on those he will have mercy.

Do you know or did you realize that the first coming of JESUS was to fulfill the law? That is the blessings of it.
And that by his obedience to the father in that fulfillment he now is given authority over all.
In other words his second coming is to fulfill the curses.

To be continued.

Absolutely no question.
Heres the thing saint. I love the saints...truly. I want the day of the Lord to be glorious for everyone of yous.
As we read in revelation no one was worthy to sit upon the throne....no one but the lamb.
Now our blessed savior is also our judge. Theres no escaping him. He knows the very hairs on our heads.
There is no wiggle room. It gets real from there. There is no sliding scale. No second chances.
Seeing the days we live in now i believe if there is no mercy to be granted from above and we enter the night fully
Many are fooling themselves thinking they are saved.
Many think the law of GOD doesnt apply to them. That grace is a" God looks the other way" when i mess up. Not so.
Cain was told sin lies at your door. Do what is right.
Just the thought of "I got away with that is sinful".
After this teaching with the Holy Spirit i felt so convicted but yet encouraged to share with anyone and everybody because it cleared up alot of questions i and many have in this fourm.
The law is not dead....not replaced....and needs to be understood not ignored.

I have come to fulfill the law not destroy it......Jesus
The Bible says there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

It has to take a sinless man to do everything right before God to be able to receive salvation to open the door for the rest of humanity to be able to have salvation.

So Jesus had to fulfill the law by being a sinless man, and fulfill all the roles of Israel, King, High Priest, Prophet, Saint, and whatever else He had to fulfill, and be the temple and the sacrifice.

But Jesus did not fulfill the role of King on earth for He came as a humble servant and not to rule so Jesus will fulfill the role of King on earth in the millennial reign of Christ.

The statement below was written by an expert on the 'law' who experienced it's Blessing and Cursing.

The Apostle's statement is the most credible understanding of the 'law' for Blood washed Saints = Galatians chapter 3

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?

3Are you so foolish? After starting in the Spirit, are you now finishing in the flesh? 4Have you suffered so much for nothing, if it really was for nothing? 5Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you practice the law, or because you hear and believe?

6So also, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 7Understand, then, that those who have faith are sons of Abraham. 8The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and foretold the gospel to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Christ Has Redeemed Us

10All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” 12The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.”e

13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

The Purpose of the Law
(Romans 7:1–6)

15Brothers, let me put this in human terms. Even a human covenant, once it is ratified, cannot be canceled or amended. 16The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your seed,”h meaning One, who is Christ.

17What I mean is this: The law that came 430 years later does not revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to nullify the promise. 18For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise.

19Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the seed to whom the promise referred. It was administered through angels by a mediator. 20A mediator is unnecessary, however, for only one party; but God is one.

21Is the law, then, opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come from the law. 22But the Scripture pronounces all things confined by sin, so that by faith in Jesus Christ the promise might be given to those who believe.

23Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

Sons through Faith in Christ

26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.

P.S. = It is against the Law of God to bear false witness.
Are you going to keep your word and provide your scriptural analysis that i have been waiting for to examine???

Yes. It is both.

The Holy Spirit is what shows us that we can't be righteous according to the Law.

Any time a Christian doesn't want to be condemned and wants to be Blessed they would turn to Christ.

I think people get caught up in trying to be righteous by their own works. I think it is natural for us. We can't do it. But we still try. Our only solution and Hope is Christ.
Maybe it's how you are wording it, but

Scripture plainly tell us we are not made righteous by anything we do. The law condemns so trying to keep it, according to scripture, puts a person under a curse.

I prefer the explicit and plain language of scripture.

Yes and since we see how we have all broken Gods' laws, we can see the hurt done to God by lawbreakers who nailed him to the cross.
With that knowledge of all mankind, wanting to be like our sweet Jesus becomes much more understandable to us.

That’s actually how many people claim it plainly states it but

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:6-8‬ ‭

heather we do good or evil means we’re righteous of sinners if we continue in sin we’re sinners , if we repent and follow the gospel we’re made righteous by Christ

Children of God don’t serve the devils Will

“In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we have to answer for what we do whether good or evil

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10-11‬ ‭

Righteous is as righteous does we can’t steal lie and cheat say I believe in Jesus and then claim we’re righteous doesn’t work that way we have to repent and turn to righteousness from sin from darkness to light and let it manifest in our actions

The Law is what brings us to Christ.

Therefore, the Law is 100% in effect, in order to show people their need for Christ.
  • Hebrews 8:13
In that He says, "A new covenant, " He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
  • Hebrews 8:6-9
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD.

It has to take a sinless man to do everything right before God to be able to receive salvation to open the door for the rest of humanity to be able to have salvation.
To be consistent with the Bible that should be "a sinless Man who is also God" and "to receive salvation" should be "to offer salvation". Perhaps that is what you meant, but words have significance. Had Jesus not been both sinless Man and God, He could not offer salvation to all through His finished work of redemption. There are many who deny that He is God, but fail to see how someone who is not God could become the Savior of the world.

The law demands the sinner must die, Christ died there is therefore nothing more the law can require of Him or those in Him on whose behalf He died. The Just for the unjust.

For us the law is fulfilled, it has served it's purpose. We now walk in God's grace.

Jesus promised not to destroy the law nor change one iota of the law. Instead, He raises the law to new heights, new understanding. All the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament are still valid, but Jesus let's us know that all these commandments are fulfilled/summarized in His new Commandment, "Love God with your whole heart, strength, soul and your neighbor as yourself. Do this and you shall have eternal life."

It's easy to see how Jesus' new commandment fulfills the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament, the Ten Commandments are God's rules for loving Him and our neighbor. Fulfilled, not destroyed, taking the law to a higher plane, a law of love of God and neighbor.
The Jews consistently failed to keep the law during 2, 000 years. Peter said it was a yoke which neither we nor the fathers were able to bear. YOU cannot keep the law to standard needed to make you righteous before God.

Nobody [apart from Christ] has loved the Lord our God with their whole heart, strength and soul nor have they loved their neighbour as they love themselves.

Stop kidding yourself, your only hope you have is if Jesus pays the penalty of the law which you have failed to keep. This He did on the cross. The just punishment for breaking God's law [which we have all done] is death. Jesus died for us, in our place.

The law that Jesus spoke of as coming to fulfill is the Bible. When you read the Bible it is written by inspiration of God in parable form. That is why Psalm 78 says "Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable " That is why Mark 4 says, "without a parable spake he not unto them ". You could take a look at any part of the Bible and if the parable is correctly interpreted it will be something that Jesus fulfills. For example, in Leviticus are a bunch of instructions about how to kill a bird with running water to cleanse a leper. On the surface, it almost sounds like voodoo. But if correctly interpreted, it is a picture of Jesus dying to cleanse sinners.

"And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. "

Jesus had to fulfil every requirement of the mosaic law, so that He could be the spotless lamb that takes away the sins of those that believe on Him, that are born of flesh and subsequently born of Spirit.

Hebrews 10:28-31 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Simple.... the Law was fulfilled by Christ.
Done deal.
The prophets aren't the law, some of theirs still needs to be fulfilled.
