Check this out in Daniel 7 Daniel sees the same beasts that John sees in the beast of revelation 13. Revlation:13:2: "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." Daniel:7:4-6: "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it." What is so cool about this is that Daniel was looking forward to these beasts and John was looking back in history at them, that is why they are reverse order. The fourth beast of Daniel is what John saw as one beast that had all the character traits of the three of Daniel seven. The beast that John saw comprise babylon, in other words all the three beasts of Daniel seven make up the beast of revelation 13 which is the false churches that unite with rome to become babylon, notice what we are told about babylon in revelation. With reference to the "mother" of harlots the catholic church has always referred to itself as the "mother" church. Babylon is not completely set up until all apostate protestant churches unite in false union with rome. That is what the image to the beast signifies which the second beast in revelation 13 is told to create. The second beast which comes up out of the earth is the USA which causes the world to receive the "mark of the beast" through civil enactments imposed on US by the first beast, rome. This is how rome will be the final kingdom before Jesus comes. Nowhere in Daniel 2 do we read about any other kingdoms after rome. The USA is not included in Daniel two but is in revelation 13.
In Daniel 12 we read Daniel:12:4: "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." The book of Daniel was sealed up until "the time of the end". This is one way we know for a fact that we are living in the "time of the end". Also the rest of the verse is highly significant to show the signs of the times. Many are running to and fro all over the world, and knowledge has increase exponentially many times over just in the past 100 years. In revelation we find where we are told when the book of Daniel has been "opened".
Revelation:10:2: "And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth," and here Revelation:10:9-11: "And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings." The "little" book of Daniel was sweet as honey when he first read about it, but after the interpretation was revealed it made Daniel sick. Daniel:8:26&27: "And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days. And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it." The book of revelation, which some denominations say that it is sealed and cannot be understood, is the key which unlocks the book of Daniel. To say the a revelation is sealed up is quite a deception, but to actually believe it is sealed up is ignorance at its finest. How can you seal or hide something this is supposed to be revealed?
The greatest 5 words in the book of revelation are the first five words "the revelation of Jesus Christ". There is only one entity that wants to hide the book of revealing and that is the one who is exposed in it.

666 is the number of a man according to John in Revelation:13:18: "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." The popes title from the beginning was vicarius filii dei which ads up to 666 when the roman numerals are added up. Of course the catholic church calls this a forgery, but here is what I have found on this very controversial issue. There are a few sites that reveal this, but you cannot fiind them on google nor yahoo. I know wikipedia is not very credible, but here is what they say.

Using Roman numerals you can get it to add up to Nero and just about anyone else. Catholics are not going around killing Christians.

BUT the same title ads up to 666 in greek and hebrew also. The catholic church killed over 100 million people during the dark ages. I have shared some very reputable sources for this earlier. Read foxes book of martyrs. Very simple read, and very enlightening. I could not get past the third chapter because it started to get very graphic.
The Catholics killed many Jews and a whole bunch of Muslims, especially during the Crusades. But, they didn't kill Christians. How many examples of Catholics killing Christians are there in Foxes'?

That link tells me nothing but here say mixed with some history.
You say that no Christians were killed by catholics. Just the 30 years war in Germany up to 12 million were killed and that was fomented by the jesuits to eradicate protestantism from Germany. Hitler completed that job. That was a very short period of time compared to the 1200 years of dark ages and inquisitions. Did you know that during the spanish inquisition any protestants who converted from catholicism were killed.
Please look up "how many Christians killed by the catholic church" for yourself.

That doesn't make them the beast. They are not from the region of the lion, leopard, bear. Every clue matters. Communism killed a ton of Christians also, in Russia and China and N. Korea. In fact today 75% of all Christians in the world live under some threat of physical violence and/or death.
I am very much in tune with the persecuted church. I attended a VOM conference about a month ago. Left that conference a changed man. Most of today's persecution comes from ISLAM. The Ottomans killed more Christians during their reign than all of the other sources of killings of Christians combined!! The Ottomans killed 1.5 to 3 million Armenian Christians in 1 year alone back in 1916-17. They didn't just kill them, they ravished them in unspeakable ways which makes Hitler look tame by comparison.
Bottom line is this. ISLAM fits every single clue of the Harlot, and the "beast" that supports this terrible Satanic cult, will once again turn into a killing machine nightmare. Just look at what their 9 major terror groups are doing all over north Africa, the middle east and the Philippines. You now have 5 provinces in the PI that have been designed ISLAMIC and they are re-instituting Shariah Law. You already have Shariah Law in places like the Sudan. Even in the UK and France Shariah courts are springing up. Their leaders are calling for an all out Caliphate to take over the world and force every nation to convert to ISLAM or be killed. This is no joke. Wake up fellow Christians. The enemy isn't the Pope.

Islam (king of the north) has been in Israel (the glorious land) for a long time in the form of the dome of the rock. After Islam finally attacks Israel then the world powers will attack and eradicate islam once and for all, then the mark of the beast will be set up.
The catholic church has always been considered the "mother church" and the harlots are apostate protestantism which have been running back to mother for quite some time through the ecumenical movement.

Therefore we can apply the same criteria to the Earthly Jerusalem, that Great City, as we do to the heavenly. It also is 'mother to us all'.

Well if Holy Jerusalem is mother to the Church, Earthly Jerusalem is Mother to the Anti-Church.
Does the Church occupy one location? Of course not. Then neither does the Anti-Church. It is not geographically bound.
Jerusalem, That great City, is not a geographical location anymore. It is a religious creed. It is prophetically Sodom and Egypt. It is Apostate Judaism therefore, espousing Homosexuality and Financial Bondage (Usury).

They killed their prophets of their day, no doubt. Your world view tells you that the killings of saints as foretold by Jesus and Daniel are over. But killings go on. Is there nothing written about the 50 million Christians killed by the Ottomans or the tens of thousands being killed by various terror groups? What of their deaths? Is the Bible silent? What puts a stop to it in your world view?
