You are allowed to eat spaghetti in moderation while you watch the trilogy …but the unwritten law is you must wear chaps, a cowboy hat and smoke a little cigar while watching.

I thought it meant goofy westerns or something.

But from that link you posted it sounds like it was more violent westerns with a lot of blood and guts...So I don't think I could be eating spaghetti while watching Spaghetti westerns....:sick:

Oh you would fit in eating watching a Spaghetti western cause come to think of it. I can't recall in any them I have watched where there is not some scene in them were they are in a Cantina eating stew or some kind of porridge, or in a saloon eating stew or porridge, or having some kind of banquet eating high on the hog.

Of course theses scenes take place after Clint rides into the town on a donkey and the troublesome cowboys make fun of his donkey. So he tells them they have to apologize to his donkey for hurting it's feelings..........LOL

I always liked these westerns watched them as a kid and even have a number in my collection of movies. The man with no name are my favs as Clint has always been my fav actor. They call me Trinity ones were funny cause the dude was just ate up and always sleeping or doing nothing. Charles Bronson was really good in Once upon a Time in the west and his harmonica playing sounded ok to me....LOL

In fact after I saw the they call me Trinity ones as a kid, I tried to get my ma to change my name to Trinity and she said not happening son..........LOL

I love Clint Eastwood movies. I've watched all of his movies with my dad. Never liked many other westerns except for Tombstone with Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday...I watched it so much I could quote almost all of his lines...lol

Clint Eastwood was an awesome actor.

I really didn't know that was what a spaghetti western was...I actually thought it was the goofy ones like Gene Autry then I read that article and thought it was some kind of blood and guts horror show...and kind of lost my appetite for spaghetti...lol:giggle:

I too have wondered where the term "spaghetti western" came from. I mean, what does spaghetti have to do with anything? :p

Don't forget, while one is puffing on that stogie, they must also squint, and spit ;)

LOL...............In 1976 at the tender age of 8 I watched the movie the Outlaw Josey Wales. Was not much longer after that I took up chewing tobacco just so I could spit. Well the first three times was more chewing and then vomit on myself........LOL

Absolutely ….the squint is classic …and that is a must!

The spitting probably comes natural if you are smoking those cigars.

It takes great talent to puff, squint and spit all in a split second. That must be the reason I never made it in Hollywood! Magenta, are you a Hollywood talent scout?
