What is the difference between calling a woman "Hot" and calling a woman "Beautiful"?

In public: "Wow!... You're beautiful!!!"

In private: "Babe, you're so hot I gotta wear sunscreen!":cool:

If you're mad at her "You're hot... I know I get it... But now, you've got my side of the bed hot and I don't like that... ":rolleyes:

I wouldn't say MOST women... but yes there are a lot of women who put a lot into their appearance because they want guys to notice them and think they are "hot."

And then a lot of those women get offended when they get the attention they spent all that money and effort trying to get. :rolleyes:
 
I would only use Hot if where really close. Attractive, Gorgeous ect. Guys on the other hand most like being called hot by Women

I get called cute often. Can't say I mind...
I'm not sure if i would like a guy I didn't know saying I was hot, but a guy I knew, i wouldn't mind so much i think.

Guess it depends on the attractiveness and demeanor of the man who says it. :D

Seriously though, to use myself as an example, I generally say "hot" to describe a woman's outward appearance and "beautiful" to describe her personality when combined with her appearance. And I always say that if a woman has a good heart, that just makes her outward appearance even better.

For instance, there are some women in my life I would not hesitate to call "beautiful", although they don't necessarily qualify as "supermodel" types. Most of them have the "girl next door" look. :cool:

I had to chuckle earlier this evening at small group because this thread came to mind. One of the guys always gets there a bit late because of his work schedule so when he got there tonight the only available seat was next to me whereas his wife was seated across the room. Anyway, he sat down and leaned over and whispered at me (pointing at his wife) "man, isn't she hot?"

Well im fine with being called hot since i never get compliments from the opposite sex regarding any sort of attraction lol. I was a big loser in high school didnt start finding girls who wanted anything to do with me till after 🤣

That's a good man and not shallow at all in that context.

Also, one of my friends asks me this... isn't my wife hot? I get frustrated cause yeah I'm not gonna say no and if I say yes I feel weird lol. It's HIS wife not mine lol. Anyways wanted to get that off my chest. :) Any suggestions on what to say back would be appreciated! lol

Great Scott! I’m a Dr. Emmet Brown fan haha, that’s exactly the way my late husband was like. He could just tell people at the most inappropriate times how hot his wife (mais oui, c’est moi lol) was LOL. I really miss that😢.

In my opinion, i don't believe that Christians should be making it their aim to be hot or sexy. I think we should always be conservative, even when going out on dates.
