If it is very important, then Jesus and Paul would have stressed it.

God seals, no one can break God's seal. When God seals, God seals
Then no weapon formed against anyone will prosper
Isaiah 54:17

Jesus willingly went to that cross and suffering occurred. Jesus even told Pilate that Pilate has/had no power over him, none!

God's law is His seal

Isa 8:16 Bind up the testimony, Seal the law among my disciples.

To try to connect the weekly Sabbath to Col 2:14-17 is essentially saying God was against man from Creation because that's when the weekly Sabbath started thus saith the Lord. Exo 20:11 Gen 2:1-3 This essentially is an attack on the character of God. Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man Mat 2:27, the Hebrew word of man here means Adam, the Greek, mankind. Man was made before the first Sabbath that God kept, man was made in God’s image and likeness Gen 1:26. The Sabbath points us back to the God of Creation Exo 20:11 God’s Sabbath was meant to bless Isa 56:2 and sanctify Eze 20:12 and a sign between God and man Eze 20:20 and His sanctification Eze 20:12 and is the holy day of the Lord thy God, thus saith the Lord Isa 58:13 so this sad teaching goes against every thus saith the Lord in the bible. No wonder why we have this warning that people really ought to take more serious 2 Peter 3:15-16. We do not keep God's Sabbath or any of the commandments to be saved, it is a consequence of our salvation that we love Jesus so much we want to obey Him and His commandments.

Am I perfect, no way, I need Father and Son to live in and through men daily, and one then does the done work of Son, that got done for all, done once for us all to respond to this love and mercy given us, then one, many and all in belief to God love all also, yes even those enemies!
I have my own need for God to lead, that keeps me out of the way of doing it myself, at least trying to do, what no flesh but Son's can and did for all on that cross. Do you think Paul taught in contradiction to what Jesus taught? Did Jesus ever teach lawlessness? You might prayerful consider reading and studying these scriptures Mat 7:23 1 John 2:4 John 14:15-18 1 John 5:3 John 15:10 Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 Mat 19:17-19 Mat 5:17-30 Rev 14:12 Rev 12:17 Rev 22:14 Rom 7:7 James 2:10-12 Rom 2:21-23 1 Cor 7:19 because Paul never taught lawlessness and either did Jesus. Paul did teach that being circumcised from the law of Moses was not a means to salvation Acts 15:1 Gal 2:3 and this is the law he referred to many times, not if we can now worship other gods, vain God's holy name, break His holy Sabbath, covet, murder or break the least of the commandments, the opposite of what Jesus taught and lived.

According to scripture our salvation depends on a lot on how we reconcile Paul’s writings 2 Peter 3:15-16 so if we are interpreting them as contradicting Jesus in how He lived and taught, I would be careful.

I never said from my view, that God is a Dictator, religion does that without knowing it, not being new in Father's Spirit and Truth of Love for all to all. be dead willingly too, thank you, to see new in the risen Son in Daddy's Spirit and Truth
Jesus, as was put on that cross, said "Father forgive them" they know not what they do.Think that still goes on presently. Was Saul before, he became Paul as a Pharisee was he wrong? Not to him until God showed him he is risen in Son for him to be saved and walk new and give up Law. As he says this in Phil 3 he gave up Law , why???????????????????????????????????
He saw the Love of God manifested to him through risen Son for him. Got taught new, did not go to the other Apostles for 14 years that be in Galatians
We are to rest 24/7 even while at work here on earth, to me at least, everyday its a Sabbath rest to me 24/7 God did what needed to get done once for us all to get given new life in God's Spirit and Truth, at least for me.
Am I perfect, no way, I need Father and Son to live in and through men daily, and one then does the done work of Son, that got done for all, done once for us all to respond to this love and mercy given us, then one, many and all in belief to God love all also, yes even those enemies!
I have my own need for God to lead, that keeps me out of the way of doing it myself, at least trying to do, what no flesh but Son's can and did for all on that cross. We the people are looking back to the cross, not forward to the Messiah promised, as was in the first Testament promised that has happened, past tense, and so we be new as born new from Father to us through risen Son for us to love all, yes All, now tell your enemies you love them, stop, cede from wars fighting. Learn from Daddy, Papa, Father the "Art of Fighting without fighting"
Jesus never fought back in flesh ever. Went to that cross willingly. Might be time to choose willingly to God and you personally you believe God too, thank you

You might want to read the Sabbath commandment the way God said Exo 20:8-11. No one can keep every day holy because God knows we have to work to sustain our lives, He gave us six days to do all thy work and labors Exo 20:9 and only asked for one day back, the seventh day. Exo 20:10 to keep holy Exo 20:8. We can think we know better than He how to keep His commandment, but many of the Israelites thought so too Eze 20:13 Eze 20:21 and it didn’t work out so well for them. We are told not to follow their same path of disobedience. Heb 4:11. It’s best in my opinion to trust God the way He said, and allow God to be God and trust what He asks of us is because He knows its for our own good. Psa 19:7

Obeying God the way God asks shows loyalty and love. We can easily talk ourselves out of reasons why not to obey God, but best to find ways to obey Him just the way He said.
