Go to church. Seriously.
I know it sounds contrived and a sort of "well duh" idea, but it is the best defense you can have. I didn't during college, and I found myself just letting the world stuff get to me. Even if it's like once a month, go. If it's just a tiny little group that meets on campus (obviously check them out to see if they're legit), go. And obviously personal study and prayer is a huge benefit. Like I said, I have been slack about it and it has made things tougher than need be.
Plus when you don't go for a long time, it makes it easier to not go at all. For some people it makes them afraid to be back after so long for fear of judgment, disappointment, ect. That's literally the enemy trying to get you to stop going at any cost.
I recently came back to my home church after college and wish I had tried harder to come more often. It helps. Trust me. Don't make the mistake I did. I mean it doesn't seem like it makes a big deal, but it would have made things a big deal better.
