2 CHRONICLES 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

You asked a question in the thread title then provided a single well-known verse. Are you wanting information? The verse doesn’t answer your question as you worded it.

Psalm 35:13

13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom..../KJV

Hehe
That's right
Let him put his face in the dust, there may yet be hope..
Hannah's prayer is nice also
God bless you

What is "the land" of the believer in Christ?

If you say "It is the whole world" because all authority in the world is Christ's, then you have to deal with the world passing away as the scriptures are written.

However, if you realize that this was written to a certain people for a certain land for a certain time period, it all makes sense.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14

That being from the 1 (Old) Testament, to the new, God revealing to us through Son, no one can be perfect. Proven to me in the entire first (Old) Testament and God from God's, required perfection, which not anyone could ever do any of it perfectly ever. So Jesus came and did it for us all first in our stead. To, be new in continued belief to God's Love and mercy for all, done for us all by Son first, at least me

God still seeing us all worthy of Love. (Amazing), (Even though we are not perfect) decided to send Son for us all to reconcile us all first. To have Son fulfill Law, (Not take away Law) fulfill, Done now in the one time willing death, Jesus chose to let happen to him, in trust to Father all the way. To see him as risen as reported to us all by the disciples, who saw him as risen. To now stand in belief and be made new between Father and you as if you had never sinned
Colossians 1:21
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Colossians 1:22
in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable andunreproveable in his sight:

therefore, since then, the cross, now today and forever, what was needed to get done, got done for us all by Son alone in his willing done work for us all, to now believe, turn and believe Father does love us all, by Son for its all, Hebrews 10:10. If anyone sees and believes, then one is ready to receive new, are you? I am and have and still am learning new in process too, thank you Father, knowing never how, yet you will do what is needed fro each person that from themselves deicide to believe you
Colossians 2:10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Philippians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Will anyone hear and stand in belief to Daddy, PaPa, Father for this amazing gift given to us to love all in the same mercy and truth of Son given first?
I trust my Daddy, PaPa. Father to reveal to anyone of us this amazing Love, that I still cannot fully understand, thanks

Once see from Father in Father's Spirit and Truth, how can one, not turn to do right? At least begin to learn to, Eph 1:6,7,13 read all from chapter 1 to Chapter 3 at least, I say read the whole Epistle amazing to get the entire context of love from God to us all, That I see, and thank God for maybe y'all too thank you

Yes, what kind of humility does God the Father requires in order to give a reward.

None, no requirements left, what?
it is done by Son for us all
John 19:30, John 1:29, Psalm 103:12, we are given in belief to God over this done work of Son for us, gettin given a new heart, Ezekiel 36:26. We are rewarded with life-everlasting. What better than to get given the life-everlasting with Father and Son in Heaven, to never die, get sick, be poor, be depressed, even while here now.
This is the gift from God for each person to personally decide to get given it from God by Asking God, Ask receive and be, yet if do not get, then be sure to not.
Just do not wish to spend any of it on any of one's own pleasure and then see new and be new, while poor here or trapped here, even rich in money here. It is only for a short while, when compared to eternity without troubles forever. And I know this truth, I take nothing from here with me but my Soul, when I go, all of us, thanks

none. you can't do anything to be rewarded. that would be "works". there isn't a verse in the Bible anywhere that teaches to do something to get rewarded.

Then what does this mean?

Matthew 6:19-21

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also..../KJV

I don't know if you read my testimony of when the Lord spoke audibly to me? But while He was there there was the strongest presence of the Lord that I had ever felt before! Or since for that matter. It was after that that I understood that, That, is our real reward! Being able to dwell in the presence of the Lord God. Who cares if I have a castle and a room full of treasure? Where's the Lord?

But there are treasures in heaven and it tells us to get them.

That isn't true. The Father will indeed reward those with what they are due. Good works do not go unnoticed. You are perhaps confusing this with earning salvation, that is indeed not possible, because that was done entirely for us by the LORD Jesus Christ on the cross.

Matthew 6:17-18
17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 25: 31-46 known as the parable of The Sheep and the Goats.

Luke 6:35
35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Luke 14:12-14
12 Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14 and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

i'm saying we can't be humble to get rewarded. we are humble because it's the Christian thing to do. look at his title. "so that they will be rewarded". grace is God giving us what we don't deserve. grace is God not giving us what we think we deserve. God's Riches At Christ's Expense. it sounds like to me he thinks we can do things to get things.

But there are treasures in heaven and it tells us to get them.

Tells people, at least me to store any treasures I have here, given me to not be taken away from me, storing them in Heaven. Life everlasting to stand in, in the risen Son where new life in Father's Spirit and Truth gets given to be content in all things

Jesus told that young rich man that if he gives away everything he owns and gives to the poor that he will have treasure in Heaven.

I own my house but I'm not there yet to be able to sell it ad give it all to the poor yet. I was homeless for two months one time even though I like camping, being homeless isn't for me. Not that I don't have faith in the Lord, but is in my shortcomings. I help people, but not my whole much!

Yes, what kind of humility does God the Father requires in order to give a reward.

He tells us to do 4 things.
Humble ourselves.
Pray
Seek His face.
Turn from wicked ways.

If we obey Him and do these four things, then He promises to reward us with 3 things.
then will I hear from heaven,.
I will forgive their sin.
I will heal their land.

Not a bad deal!

If you do a word study on "humble" yourselves you will see that in the original language it is Afflict your souls, or in other words, Fasting. To deny your flesh food is an affliction to your soul. Many translators translate it as Humble.

I think you are over thinking this. God rewards Obedience. Both in the present time and future in heaven. It's true you shouldn't fast just for a reward, but, why dwell on the reward? Scripture says, Seek Him first and foremost...and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33)

Is it appropriate to tell, to surrender your pride or surrender yourself is to humble thyself?
