I've heard of the ball and chain. My buddy's best man brought one to put on him right after the wedding. This is is just a little beyond that.
Actually - I don't believe there's sex in heaven, anyone who thinks there is has a very carnal and unbiblical view of heaven - especially when Jesus said there's no marriage in heaven:
"At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven." Matthew 22:30
No sex.
On earth there is sex. It's for having children as well as a pleasure and means of bonding. Keeps the heart tender even when things are difficult.
But I wouldn't demand a spouse have unbiblical belief sets that have more in common with Islam than with Christians. That might not go well if you're looking for a Christian to marry.
Yes we have mentioned to SonsofCaleb many times that perhaps he should look into certain middle eastern religions for what he seeks.

I like the smart girls....always have.
Smart is the new sexy. Mine could have gotten her doctorate (PHD) but didn't. It's really expensive. "Water finds its own level " is an expression I've heard about....and it's true I guess....dunno.
But she has so many high end skills, certifications, and knowledge that it's fairly insane.
She works in cancer research currently...as part of quality control. Hippa compliance, security, government regulatory compliance, and parameters set by the research grant all inside of her admin for implementation of enterprise software systems.
She makes the rules the others have to follow. She also is a professional writer and editor. So she writes teaching materials...often. she teaches the trainers how to train.
Because I have an extremely diverse set of skills and experience and knowledge bases....I wanted an equal. Someone I wouldn't run over nor would she try to run over me.
She can't cook like I do...she isn't at home in the kitchen. (She can cook though) But she can and has designed the packaging and logos for our home baked goodies we give out every year.
She is my ministry partner...and part of the reason I have traveled around this globe.
We do everything together and have a blast doing it. It doesn't matter what we want to do... we give it a try together. She is the reason I say "I am we and she is me"
Even though she can't cook....she wants involved with the bakery somehow. She'll find a spot eventually. We have a lot of brainpower already working....just a matter of her watching and waiting for her to see something.

If I was being honest, I'd tell men to sleep around and never marry, and I'd tell women to never sleep around but to find a trustworthy man and marry him. That causes a stalemate that might force both sides to realize that there's really only one way romantic relationships can really work.

A Christian woman who believes in following the Bible and wants to have kids, but is not in a rush to have kids immediately either. Also, while being Christian and having the desire to have a God-focused family, accepts that one should enjoy life within reason.
So, all of my recent involvement on these "singles" threads got me thinking...
During an average week, between the time I spend at work (and I basically work in solitary confinement), the time I spend with my children, the time I spend running errands, the time I spend on this website, etc., etc., I'm really not giving myself any good opportunities to actually meet a woman.
With such in mind, I took the plunge.

Here's how I foresee it:
I meet a nice young woman...
There's a mutual attraction between us...
We go out together on a bunch of dates...
We really hit it off together...
She invites me home to meet her family...
I ask her father for her hand in marriage...
I mean, it sounds kind of foolproof to me.
Seriously, what could possibly go wrong?

The early part of my post was true.Doggone it you ursine, you had me going for about half of that post!
I did set up profiles on two different dating websites in the last couple of days...with ChristianMingle being one of them.
I'm truly not a fan of dating websites or of trying to meet or even communicate with anybody online.
Personally, I'm much more comfortable meeting and conversing with someone in person, but it is what it is at the moment.
We'll see what happens with that.
