Whats the first thing you do in the morning?

Whats the first thing you do in the morning? (not a trick question) Just thought it could be an interesting topic. It could mean after coffee or afterter brushing your teeth or before, doesn't matter... answer however u wish! :o
 
Turn off the alarm and think about getting up. Unless you're talking about when the clock changes back to AM, in which case usually the answer is sleep for several hours.
 
Get up, take a leak, wash hands, drink a large glass of water, sit down and catch up on online stuff. Half an hour later eat breakfast.

This morning I added a chocolate/pecan cookie right after the large glass of water.
 
Eat something get on Christian chat,welcome people,answer or discuss,then possibly go to sleep.
 
Wake up eat something,go to work,get a honey bun,then work.
 
well waking up for the day the first thing I do depends on how tired I still am but most often goes like this get a drink take pain meds take the dogs out feed the dogs go potty.Then I get online and look at all the wonderful things that unfolded while I was trying to sleep...

I normally thank Jesus with joy in my heart. Then I watch my phone if something has happened while I was sleeping. My dog is listening to every move and sound I make, and when I push the remote to the door opener, he jumps out of bed (yes... But he asks permission before jumping in. A well behaved naughty dog), goes out to pee, and then runs in to get food. And then I go to do my things. If it is a lazy morning, we both go back to bed.....
 
The first think I do in the morning after waking up and deciding to get out of bed, is get down on my knees, turn off the alarm radio (which is on the floor), and then pray.
 
"Open my eyes" and "wake up" have been used, honestly no doubt.

Aside from the usual and obvious, I spend about five minutes stretching. After that, it depends entirely on whether it's a day off or not. If not, coffee, which sometimes happens before stretching. Priorities, y'know! :)
 
Wake up, stand up, stretch.

Go downstairs, let dogs out, fill their bowls with kibble.

Get my Dad to the bathroom and cleaned up. Make him breakfast.

Then I get a cup of coffee.

Every morning. It's like a really bad remake of "Groundhog Day".
