our son and daughter-in-law are in Athens. they sent us a video saying it's 100 degrees there.

It's 76F and raining here. Down from 89F at noon. We expect the weather to go downhill as the storm moves closer.
Sheet lightning followed immediately by booming rolls of thunder. And rain, thank God!

It was a good wholesome show for sure. I also enjoyed the Beverly Hillbillies. Another good classic family comedy.

don’t live in that region anymore but know the town . I graduated High School from there.
So we got a hurricane Lee coming down the north east this weekend which has now been downgraded to a northeastern storm with high winds and capable of doing damage.
I pray that people are safe.
@ThereRoseaLamb , where are you ? East Coast? I hope you’re safe out there.
I won’t have high winds where I’m at compared to the coast but I will have downed branches and possibly power outage.
I also have a basement in case winds get too high.

i believe that dear lady is in one of the so-called fly over states. if i remember correctly (and what are the chances of that happening
), she has family in the Canadian Maritimes? been praying for them all week.

Oh I moved south many moons ago and got married. I use to live in eastern Canada, Nova Scotia. It looks like my kin will take a direct hit, I have been praying for them.
