I am a little slow, and the Lord didn't boost my iq when he decided to put me on earth, but I have learned on here, that if I pretend that I'm getting offended the fun will be lasting longer.

I'm sure this may be so, and I'm sure the same could be said about me from time to time, even though I am getting further down the "elder" road everyday myself. Time goes so dang fast, heck I have a son your age now.
I just felt compelled to tell you that in my opinion you are one heck of an impressive young woman from my point of view. You help give me hope for the younger people out there, and I wish my son could see things even 50% like you do. I love my son just the way he is, and honestly wouldn't change him at all, but again some of the things you say and view you hold are well beyond your years in my opinion. I know I sure wasn't thinking like you when I was 15, or 25, or even 30 on many issues. I thing God is going to use you for His glory in unimaginable ways. Honestly I was just reading through this discussion and was very impressed by your comments, and have been a few times before as well. I'm not on here nearly as much as I was in the beginning, and haven't read a whole bunch of your comments, but the ones I have run across have stuck out enough to really make me think "wow at 15 she thinks this way? Praise Jesus mighty name."
I just wanted to share that, say thank you for posting here, we need younger people to be like this much more often in this world, I thank God for the hope He gives us through things like this and people like you. I pray you have a great day and look forward to reading you comments in the future.
should never be used as an excuse, especially when people are leaving because of the "heat".
New converts & young christians don't stand a chance in the BDF because of that attitude.
Such "heat" isn't allowed in any church..... why is it allowed here?
I know this isn't church, but we're supposed to be the same everywhere.

And as for defending the truth? Spending my life proving I'm right and your wrong has very little to do with "defending truth." It's "defending ego."
I haven't been on BDF since this morning, but I can guarantee at least 90% of that first page is full of arguments over side issues. Not God! Side issues. It's all either conjecture or what-do-I-get-out-of-God. And, seriously? Exactly how long a defense do you give when obviously no one is listening anyway? Has anything fruitful come of that arguing? (And fruitful is what we give, not what we get.)
Also, what's to apologize for if there is no intent to change? All you've said is "man up." Where is that in the gospel?

I think he posted that to stop somebody from saying anything towards him. Judging from the "likes", it worked.
I would have to disagree.
Sure, there's some rough spots in the other forums, but the BDF is a total obstacle course. The old members can't even get thru it safely.
But I can see the reasoning behind this post, & others like it.
Think about what they would lose if it got straightened up.

BUT, I must say that name-calling is really bad for several reasons:
1. It's a very bad example to new Christians. What must they think of a person calling himself a Christian and then calling those that don't agree with him names... It's a bit childish.
2. It comes off as being not only offensive, but very mean. So many who would like to post, don't becaue they feel intimidated. Something I , of course, know nothing about.
3. The persons who are intimidating think they're on CC to share their experience of God and to show how some may be wrong in their doctrine that they feel is important and has something to do with saving souls.
What they're really doing is TURNING PERSONS OFF to sharing about God.
My two cents...
Some people have no shame at all, coming into a special thread about the BDF arguments so they can argue.
