Technically? A Kiloyear, millennium, is 1000 years. So the next one is January 1, 3001.
2 Peter 3:8But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

January 1, 3000 is the beginning of the first year of the next.
But we now follow the Gregorian Calendar. The Anno domini numbering system its era counting years in Roman numerals, was year I(1). It used no markers for a year zero. That means the year 1BC was followed by year 1 AD.

The next millennium would then arrive at January 1 3001 because the Anno domini calendar system did not reach zero at the transition between BC to AD.

no one knows the day or the hour of Jesus's return, so we can't predict exactly when the millennium begins.

But there's an invitation to calculate:

Rev 13:18This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. e That number is 666.

When does the bible say the millennium begins? Are we in the millennium?
When the man of sin, New Age Christ, establishes peace in the Middle East, and the Gentile nations come together and say Peace and safety as they try to establish peace on earth 7 years later the wrath of God will be poured upon the world leading up to the battle of Armageddon which Jesus comes back with the saints and fights the world and defeats them, and then the millennium will begin.

So the millennium could of not started for Jesus has to defeat the world and put down sin for it to begin for He has to take control on earth, which in that day the LORD shall be King over all the earth, and there shall be one LORD and His name one, which the heathen that Jesus spared will only acknowledge Him.

Which there has been talks of Middle East peace for years.

And President Donald Trump wants America to stop being involved in working for peace in the world so much, and wants the other nations to step it up and work for peace which will cause them to have to take action, and cooperate with each other more for peace on earth, which will bring them closer together to the nations coming together.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Noah didn't know exactly when the flood was coming. but He get signs, We are given many signs in nature and prophesy about the time of Christs second return but we can't exactly say when. IMO it is very soon but that may be 2 years or 50 years, Gods will be done.

Noah knew exactly when the flood would come because he was told. It is the sinners at that time that ignored; they were told but they ignored.

No man knows the day or hour but:

Dan 8:14He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be properly restored.”…

We are in the millennium. . . the last days. It began when Christ said it is finished . The time of reformation had come . The day or hour no man knows . The same with numbering people.

We walk by faith the unseen eternal not after the temporal things seen A thousand years is a metaphor that represents a unknow. Christ will come as a thief in the night on the last day

Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Thousand years = A unknown unrevealed

Ecclesiastes 6:6 Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?

Thousand years = A unknown unrevealed

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.. . . . . (not a thousand years is one day) As denoted a parable as a comparison

Thousand years = A unknown unrevealed

Noah was watching He knew he would come .It does not mean Christ did not come as a thief in the night . The exact timing is not given as a sign . Its an evil generation that does seek after one rather than walking by faith a unknown as our living hope.

It's not a parable.

When does the bible say the millennium begins? Are we in the millennium?
Greetings RevelationMan,

One good way to answer that question, is by looking at some of the characteristics of that age.

Jesus will rule from the throne of king David:

* He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”

* He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from that time and forevermore. (Isaiah 9:7)

* As you watched, a stone (Jesus) was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay, and crushed them. Then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold were shattered and became like chaff on the threshing floor in summer. The wind carried them away, and not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that had struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. (Millennial kingdom)

And just as you saw a stone being cut out of the mountain without human hands, and it shattered the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold, so the great God has told the king what will happen in the future.

Longevity of life as it was pre-flood:

* Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

The ferocity between prey and predatory animals will no longer exist:

* The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; the calf and young lion and fatling will be together, and a little child will lead them. The cow will graze with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

* The infant will play by the cobra’s den, and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water.

Nations will no longer wage war against each other:

* He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

One thing that all of the above have in common is that, none of them have yet taken place.

In the scripture above it states that the man who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. Today, if a man lives to be a hundred, he's in an elite group, because most people do not live to be a hundred. However, those who enter the millennial kingdom in their mortal bodies, the longevity of life will be as it was prior to the flood when people lived to be 800 and 900 years old.

Also, when have we ever seen prey and predator animals and their young lying down together? Or when have we seen the lion eat straw like the Ox? The answer is never. And since this is the word of God, then it must be fulfilled. And the only time that these can be fulfilled is in the coming age which begins after the tribulation period.

Likewise, when has the earth never experienced war? The answer is never! But for the remnant of Israel and the great tribulation saints who make it alive through the entire tribulation period, they will enter into the millennial kingdom in their mortal bodies and repopulate the earth. There will be no wars, the characteristics of animals will be changed, people will live to be hundreds of years old and Jesus will rule from Jerusalem and church with Him.

Revelation 19:11-21 is a detailed account of Jesus' return to the earth at Armageddon to end the age. At that same time both the beast and the false prophet will be captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire (Rev.19:20). Following that and during that same time, a mighty angel will seize Satan and will throw him into the Abyss, sealing and locking it over him so that he will not be able to deceive the inhabitants of the earth for a thousand years, which ushers in the millennial kingdom.

Good day Hevosmies!

As I'm sure that you know, the poster is speaking specifically about the time that Jesus will rule on this earth. That millennial kingdom could not begin under after the time of God's wrath/tribulation, which has not yet begun. It will be the last thousand years leading up to the great white throne judgment and the destruction of the present earth and the creation of a new one.

It is that coming millennial kingdom that has not yet begun.
