Ooh, this is good. I'm hoping when Arlene and I eventually meet in person that it's very natural. (I gather I'll be a bundle of nerves though, but that's okay).

I met my late wife online in 2002. We wrote actual letters and talked on the phone every night. After 2 months I flew from Orlando, FL to Portland, ME to meet her. When the plane finally touched down I was very nervous because I knew my future wife was somewhere inside waiting for me. The realization finally struck that we were actually going to meet. I finally saw her on a balcony at the airport looking around for her future husband. She looked beautiful. Nervousness was gone. After a 6 day visit I did not want us to be separate so I rearranged my flight back to Florida and took her home with me. We were married less than 3 months later. It was a wonderful marriage centered on the love of God. We were both faithful and in love with each other until the day that she died earlier this year. She had the love of God in her heart and she gave that love to me.

I will you well on your journey and may God be with you both. Your nervous will turn into something more enduring when you finally see Arlene. I am sure of this. Beautiful love story.

wish I got to meet cc friends but I guess I'll never will but if I do I hope @ least 1 cc friend/best friend

I was afraid I would be nervous, too. But everything was so natural since we already knew each other so well from all of the chatting and texting and phone calls. You will be fine--you will be so happy to finally see her that you won't have time to think about being nervous:)

I could not say the same and, if that was the same in Venezuela, I know by personal experience, Police and GNB are eager to receive any bribery to allow anyone to come in (But no one likes communism, their stinking corruption and food shortage). :P

I would love to meet Blain obviously XD But also some other CCers as well! I don't really remember where everyone is located, but somewhere in the middle would be good for me like say Texas or Oklahoma or something. Something in the southern midwest
