So, have we hammered this out? Is sex bad to factor in the decision to marry?
Not bad..everyone wants and expects sex after married..just wondered if somone would marry SOONER if they had to wait..

Probably
Why wait so long to get married, regardless?
Confectionery products are never free. Everything comes at a cost.

Im actually wondering why you contnue to be in tgis forum since you said early on you didnt like it..don't like my posts. then hit the ignore button problem solved.
I'm 64 yrs old. Not a virgin! I don't expect to meet one either. While sex would not be the main factor for getting married. I would like to insure we are sexually compatible. I'm not looking to get married again, If I ever do I'd be more careful. It would be better to never marry than to get divorced because of the years of heartache and shame that divorce causes. If it were not for my children I would regret ever being married at all. It would be better to have a concubine than an ex!Maybe seasons of singleness and having to abstain from sex IS a "training" for those times in marriages where your spouse gets sick etc and cant or doesnt want sex as you stated earlier?
I don't fear lonliness as much as heartbreak. I've been celibate 12 years now so sex outside of marriage is not my game plan. If I were to consider getting married, again. Well I'd be very carefull.I'm 64 yrs old. Not a virgin! I don't expect to meet one either. While sex would not be the main factor for getting married. I too was once a depressed, bitter, suicidal, grumpy old man who thought the world may have been better off if I were never born. I got help. It's difficult at times when you feel unloved to love your self and it spills over, out of our mouths and into our actions. This level of depression is near clinical and may need medical attention, maybe even hospitalization for a bit. Malnutrition can also play a role especially if one lives alone, prepairs their own food and only prepair what they like. I'd rather eat dinty moore out of a can that to make a big mess just for myself, then have to clean it up too. Nutrition and brain chemistry are not in the forefront of mental health treatment. There's more money in pharma.Exactly.
Wise, why even be on this site when you continually talk about how much you hate people and find things like this to be a waste of time?
Apparently, you find it somehow rewarding to spew constant venom and hatred.
You might want to try to the Bible Discussion Forum.
Your style of posting would fit in very well there.
Well It's more how old and unnessary a person feels. Bi-polar usually strikes young but age related cognitive disorder and clinical depression can strike in the 40s or 50s, especially when alone with no emotional support system. That's part of the reason I'm still with my family struggling to get by rather than living in a cushy Vets retirement & assistance center.I don't think wise is that old.
