All earth wherever found in the universe is endowed with light.
The new Webb telescope planned for this year is designed to see the heat radiating out of all matter. Which by the way the scientist have not at all predicted what it will reveal. That’s because they are always wrong and dumbfounded when they collect the true data and have to regurgitate a new story of the past they have never known anything about since their basic premises are false and must rely on a “no body did anything” believe system.
Light warmed the earth before God, clumped earth into stars and galaxies etc.
All teachers are forced to break things down do the ill informed can grow in knowledge and understanding over timee.
This light has been termed "cosmic light", and that should be perfectly OK. What we cannot expect -- given the brevity of the account -- is to obtain answers to every question we might have. That was not God's purpose. Had men written the creation account it would have involved dozens of books providing every kind of detail. But God gave us an overview and that is good enough.

The evolutionists claims to be intelligent but then claims they don’t know what a biblical kind means. They’re are playing word games to cover up the truth that they aren’t using science nor are they in any way bound by the rigor of true science.

But, the nutty logic of evolutionists will turn around and act like evolution by adaptation within a kind isn’t that profoundly diverse or achieved quickly enough.
They want it both ways because they are lousy storytellers in the first place.

It is common and is called the diffusion of light. Light must be filtered to be seperated it into into various kinds for good use.
Like a rainbow only appears when a atmospheric filter is applied.
Take a dark room and let light enter it through a hole to shine on a plate with two holes and light mixed with dark lines appear. That is the two light sources mix and produce darkness.
This what Jesus meant. If a man let in two sources of enlightening words the result will be the worst form of darkness because the lights will resolve into darkness but with enough light to make a confused person think they are enlightened. Who’s gonna change the egotistical mind and heart of a deluded person?
Its been termed cosmic light by men. To me, john seems to say it is the light through which everything has been created, which is Jesus/the Word/the Lamb/ the Light.
God created darkness as analogous of evil that men suppose is enlightening.
All true science teaches eternal truths while false science blinds men to the truth of God.
The angels dwelt with God in a world of light where they nevertheless, found that God had created place called the deep wherein darkness covered the earth under many waters. Satan failed to think that earth of any value since he walked not by faith in God but by sight.
When we trust God the truth of God becomes apparent and we find there is only one word of God written and not yet written.
Only Christians are so foolish as to think God uses contrary bibles to teach by. But, Satan dumbs down everyone who loves the world or the things it by paying them to believe foolish notions.
Another thought. Before God created the heavens and the earth, it seems there was only one place - heaven/ where God is. He is omnipresent. There would have been no place of darkness and emptiness. I believe the very act of casting Satan from His presence created a place of darkness, or, as the Hebrew words seem to suggest, a howling waste, a thing of vanity, a desert place.

Do you think man created light in a dark room with benefit of the sun. But God has to have a sun?
God created the sun for man not man for the sun.
Nothing in the creation account is unscientific.
All matter glows with energy and releases it under required conditions.

The process of Science is to create repeatable observations.
So Genesis is not a scientific account.

"Kind" is not defined the same as "Species" but there are some common aspects.
