Matthew28:19-20 says...
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
This is Jesus telling His Disciples to "baptize" people in His name.

Mat 3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
Mat 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Mat 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
Mar 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
Mat 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Mat 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

Isa 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Only a sinless man can reconcile mankind to God.
Jesus came to fulfill the law which includes all of the offices of Israel.
So He had to do everything a person had to do to be right with God so He had to be baptized with John's baptism.
Jesus was not baptized in any name for John did not baptize using a name formula.
