Which is why my youth pastor says that giving needs to come from both parties. Becaus if one side is giving, and the other is doing nothing but taking, that relationship is destined to fail.
 
... and fail it did! But that's ok, I try to learn from every relationship and move on!

Or will she say, "I'm really flattered, but I don't feel the same way about you... but I'd really like to stay close friends..."

Sounds like maybe we need to work on your confidence first more than anything... (probably something we all need work on).

While it's a bit more... challenging, if given the first answer, in your case, I'm glad to hear it would most likely be the second one.

All right Sam, what can we do to help boost your confidence here? I mean, wouldn't you rather know than not know? Or is it just that, as long as you don't know for sure, you at least have the rush of the "what if" to keep you going?

I heart SNL. I secretly have ambitions to be a writer on the show :) I haven't seen superstar but Molly Shannon rocks my socks.

You have to see superstar!! that is like my favorite movie... there is a part where she is in the mirror sayin almost the same thing......... i love anything molly shannon does
