Jinx, I would ask you to read my post #47, where I answer your verse using the Greek, in context. You are just pulling this bad translation totally out of context! I spent a long time on that post, and if you disagree, then post why. Using Greek vocabulary, syntax and context of the culture, the book and what was happening in Ephesus at this time. It is NOT a universal principle, but rather a piece of personal letter, regarding a group of women, who were disrupting a specific local church!

Jesus said we are to be just:

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law, justice and mercy and faith; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. Matt 23:23 RSV

He has given us wisdom to understand that justice means equal rights for all. He is Lord.

I am not sure why you are quoting from the Fall, when we have been redeemed by Christ. That was NOT God's perfect plan, but rather the plan after sin and death came into the world. We are not under the curse, because he who knew no sin became sin for us, so that we in him we might become the righteousness of God. 1 Cor. 5:21

so now according to what you just said, the BIBLE is not universal, that only certain parts are for us, that we can pick and choose. no thanks.

If someone of the Christian faith can look at several scriptures and say they don't apply to us, then it's going to take an act of GOD to change their mind. I aint GOD.

Can you show us from scripture where justice relates to, or can be interpreted,
as fair or equal within pertaining to our roles as intended by our creator

The verse I referred to is talking about the consequence of The Fall. Women will want to rule their husbands. We still live with the consequences of the fall. Ever gotten sick before?
 
One discourse in the Epistles comes to mind where it talks of the husband and the wife being one body, and how a man would never mistreat his own body nor disrespect it. I believe that says enough on the subject. Would a man demean or ridicule himself? I think not. Then the woman and the man are one.

One in motive and goal, but each created for a different purpose
As even the Lords angels in heaven have their own role and own purpose,
Actually a hierarchy isnt there, like in a kingdom
roles and duties which may be different from one another yet they don't fight over it or want equality with one another, because they realize the purpose of their creation and serve the same master.

When I see gender fighting for equality
Im reminded of the Lord saying he will have mercy on whom he chooses when people complained
Im reminded of how God dealt with the Israelites with Moses in Egypt complaining when things werent enough to their liking
Who are we to tell the master who he is to be generous with?

And lastly, one that may be a shocking reminder to some
God will do whatever the heck he wants and we should accept it, our creation, our roles and the fact that men and women are equal in value, equal in access to God and equal in salvation with God
But created for different purposes which should not be disputed less there be contention within the church.

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say,
'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.'
