Elizabeth, (or should I address you as "child?) I want to apologize to you for all the bullying! It will serve as a good lesson to you about straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel, for there have been a LOT of that here. I don't think our President has been vetted nearly so much. You've been personally attacked, asked questions that the "grownups" should have known was none of their business, and certainly has nothing to do with your salvation. I praise the Lord for another sister in Christ! Beware the wolf in sheep clothing, or did I word that wrong?

No-one is bullying her or asking her inappropriate questions. And correction is important. Please don't call us wolves in sheep clothing. We're trying to help her learn to be more humble. We all need to learn that lesson.

Who said anything about "us"? Some have genuinely cared about understanding what was said. Some were quick to find fault. Might I add, fault about anything but content. Which one were you?

I did call her a teenager at one point (which I apologised for), but otherwise, I've been trying to help her, but she just brushes off anyone's correction or advice because she thinks she knows everything.

No. Yes, we all have our moments but I think it's important to have a teachable spirit. I'm open to learning from people who have more wisdom and experience than me. Even if they're one or one hundred years old.
I wish that she'd learn to title her threads with more thought and consideration. She makes the titles purposely provocative and annoying. My spirit is offended every time I read the title of this thread (and others of hers) on the main page. I wish there was an option to prevent certain threads from showing up. This would be one of them.

This. Especially. I feel condemned every time I see the thread title and I shouldn't because I know that I've been bought and paid by Jesus stripes and his righteous sacrifice on the cross (and resurrection). It's not a good feeling. Conviction is great but condemnation doesn't.

..would that we have faith as "children" who are secure in their faith...Can we learn anything here? Are we really still teachable? Who is offended with a title someone wrote? The title "You're a child of the Devil" may or may not be speaking to you. Why if you believe you are not, do you flock to it? Why do you take it so personal? No one if forcing you to come read on it. There may be someone who benefits greatly from this thread. For those secure in their "own" faith, what's it to you? I really don't understand.
I have to read the title in bold letters every time I look at the main page. It's offensive because those are the words of satan. I am no longer a child of wrath; I am a child of GOD. Only a satanic spirit would call me a child of the devil. It's a thoughtless title crafted to get attention. That's what immature children do.

the title was a mistake she has already apologized for.
yes she admitted to doing it to get attention. yes it wrong to speak words for that reason.
However, it seems to me that she was speaking AGAINST those words. Her response was that through Jesus She is NOW a child of God. that though in the past she might have been called a child of Satan. NOW she has been born again and is a child of God.

Well through obedience we are children of God the righteousness sons of righteousness alot of praying and fasting is required to renovate the soul through the holy spirit by the gift poured out to us in jesus .
Children are conceived and then grow up; they don't grow up into conception.
The Spirit himself confirms to our spirit that we are children of God, Romans 8:16

i didn't read the OP but i just knew i had to correct this statement, it doesn't matter what age someone is once the spirit of God is in them they will have the same knowledge as every other born again believe it's one spirit the spirit doesn't change because of someone's age

Yes, Elizabeth has apologised for the title choice. I can't help thinking it could still be modified by admin (or mods) to something convicting rather than condemning.
