Request to delete a thread

Hi Admins,

Can I please request my thread to be deleted? I had an emotional outburst and I am copping too much judgement over it. :( I have learnt from it and will not be so exposed in future.

deleting it causes trouble with the sever links, you could request that it be closed so that people stop posting on it? eventually it will cycle to the back of the threads and not be read...

sorry i offended you on that thread by the way. it wasn't my intent.

i'm often blunt and rub people the wrong way, even when I try not to.

however, i don't really see anyone (beside me) saying anything negative to you.

anyway, will pray for your and your husband.

I regret that you are suffering now over your thread. It can take emotional fortitude to bare one's soul publicly -- but really I don't think you are exposed, for I don't think any of us know who you are. But I think that most of us care for you. At least you got prayed for. Maybe the moderators will let you take a new screen name if you wish and you can start over like a new person on the site.

As a rule we do not remove threads except for extreme circumstances. If you don't like the responses you are getting, just don't follow the thread any more.

Changing nics without site permission is prohibited and can result in the user being banned. We do charge a $5 fee to change nics in order to discourage people from changing their nic.

Because of this thread i went to the thread in question. I didn't see anything wrong in what you said. I see no reason to have it deleted (i'm not a mod, so it's not my choice, just expressing my opinion). And you're right, there is a lot of judgment on this site against women in your position, but there is also a lot of support. I chose not to respond in that thread so it would let it fall down the list. I tried to PM you, but you have them blocked. Anyways, don't feel bad about your response. I think it was fully justified, and honestly it was Much more tame than i expected considering you want it deleted.

But its true, it's quite difficult to get a thread deleted. They rarely will even delete a single post. Hope you can find the support you need.

if anyone is harassing you via pm, you can report the message and an admin or moderator will address the issue.

If they are bothering you, they may also be preying on other people. you should definitely report it.

Its the internet and there are alot of predators who will seek to harm people when they are weak.

I like this site because the people who regulate it don't tolerate it if they find out about it.

I don't feel I need to report them that's a bit extreme. I don't want to cause trouble I was just not expecting so much judgement on a Christian site. We are all here for each other. If you can not delete or close the thread I will cancel my log in and walk away. (I suppose it can't be cancelled either. :-D)

I didn't see anything rude or inappropriate in the thread in question. We can't all have Yes men and women. Sometimes we need to be convicted of things and sometimes internet communication causes more problems than it helps. And sometimes, when we're upset, we project.

You won't find it in the thread. The replies are in my private messages/inbox like I said above. I'm done explaining it and I'm not sure why people feel they have to take sides and try and prove me wrong or something. I forgive those who did what they did and I'm moving on. I've made a couple of good connections here which I will continue outside of this site.
