Excactly! I am called to work with Muslims. I know that. And I love that. Yet I haven't seen anyone got saved, but I sow a seed and pray it will grow and bare fruit. That is my calling. I have had more muslim students and pupils than I can count, and many have visited my house. This is a bit special, but we are many that pray for her, and I know she is going to be saved.
IMHO there is no greater calling than to minister to children, especially teenagers. You are a wonderful young lady, and what you do now will impact the children under your care far into the future. Thank you for answering God's call for your help.

When she finishes her Islam prayers, set down with her and do a brief Bible study. Then ask her to pray with you. Include everyone in the house in your Bible study and prayer.

Insist that she attend church services with you. I hope that the church you are attending has a strong youth ministry.

Let her wear her Muslim garb. Make sure that she interacts with a lot of Christian teens.

Spend a lot of time in prayer.

We will pray for you and your ministry.

“I don't really like that it is prayed to any other God than our Heavenly Father in my home.” Not sure I understand that comment – the God of Abraham and Isaac is the same God of Ishmael. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all worship the same God no matter how he is referred to in different beliefs. Just because the methods of worship are different than yours does not make them somehow wrong (or evil, etc., etc.) Or are you asserting that the God of the OT is a different deity than that of the NT and therefore she's not worshiping the same God you do??
Hi Kavik,

I see you're new. Welcome to CC! :)

It's the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You can't leave off Jacob is was later named Israel. The Old Covenant is with Israel and the New Covenant is with Israel. We as Gentiles get grafted in.

There is only one God and His name is Yahweh. So no, the Muslim God is not the same god of the God of the Jews or the Christians. The Muslims god - his name is Allah!

The God of the OT is Yahweh and the God of the NT is Yahweh. Same God. Because you're not a Christian, you really don't understand the difference. We can explain further if you're interested.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'm sure many here would love to help lead you to the way, the truth and the life, in Jesus Christi, God's one and only Son who's the Savior of the world.

I have earlier written about my part time foster daughter that stays here every third week. She is a Muslim, but hasn't been that religious. We avoid pork when she is here, otherwise it goes very smoothly. Now she is here again, and she has changed. She wants to pray and wear hijab and cover herself when she is praying. And I feel bad. I don't really like that it is prayed to any other God than our Heavenly Father in my home. But I can't stop her, can I? It is OK that she doesn't eat when it is light, and she eats nuts, pizza and olives when she breaks fast. But prayer? Can I refuse her, or just be confident that we serve a mighty God and that my prayers in the Spirit will protect my home and that any other principalities have no authority in my house?
A Christian guy by the name of David Wood used to be roommates with a Muslim by the name of Nabeel Qureshi. They used to have debates with one another all the time in college. After many debates and discussions on it, Nabeel eventually had to admit that Islam was not the truth. He later became a Christian.

David Wood has plenty of videos that you can learn a lot from. Here’s the link.

I don't do it because I need it. Neither the money or the company. I do it because I can make a difference in her life, and that I see she is drawn to Christ through me. I am a mother, teacher, friend, sister and caretaker. I see this as a God given opportunity to share the Gospel.
I don't get it why did you make this threads, if this is how you feel. Do you know who the Angel of death was, he was Christ and he killed those that worshiped other gods and you are allowing it to happen in your house supposedly for Christ. That makes no sense at all, stand up and proclaim the Gospel and if she doesn't like it let her ask to leave, but you have to set what is going to happen in your house and please do not hide behind the Gospel as your reason for letting it continue.

A lot of people confuse Christ with the Military Industrial Complex. But Christ told us to preach the gospel, not nuke our enemies.

Why did I post this thread? I did it because I needed support and advice from fellow Christians. I enjoy the fellowship here, and I always come short in wisdom and knowledge. I learn alot and grow in faith and in Christ. It is a true blessing.

I am sorry if my thread offended anyone or you. It didn't even cross my mind that a Christian brother or sister could be offended. An atheist and a muslim, yes.

I am not here to pick a fight. I just want to experience fellowship. If this thread has made disunity among the body of Christ, it should be deleted. But if this helps us as Christians to meet Muslims with faith and love, then I think it was worth it. Muslims need Jesus too!

And Nabeel Qureshi became an out and out evangelist to Moslems too.
Sadly he is very ill with stomach cancer currently and will probably not survive!
Very sad as he is a young man with small children!

Galatians 4:27
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Genesis 21:
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

I took her in one year ago, and then it was also Ramadan. It wasn't an issue, then. I have prayed so much over this, so i am confident it is God's will that she was placed under my care and influence somehow. And she was moving very nicely in the right direction. Even coming with me to church, asking if she could come with me every time she stays here. Until that point when her own faith was questioned.
If taken to a Pentecostal or Charismatic church, then that was the wrong direction and MAYBE why she is pushed towards Islam. What do you think happens when someone does not experience the second blessing or the other baptism with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of tongues or do you preach receiving the Holy Spirit separate from salvation with the evidence of tongues as some do? Then she who seeks receives no tongues, she seeks the truth elsewhere, because she wasn't being told the truth in the first place. Jesus Christ is the gospel; there is no other gospel for her to receive.

I guess she is going through a crisis, she is a teenager after all, and when things are messy, you tend to turn to religion. Well. I turn to Christ every day, but that's how it should be.
If you turn to the "Spirit" everyday in tongues, then that is not turning to Christ Jesus, the Son of God everyday in your prayer.

1 Timothy 2:[SUP]5 [/SUP]For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Hebrews 4:[SUP]12 [/SUP]For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.[SUP] 13 [/SUP]Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.[SUP] 14 [/SUP]Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.[SUP]15 [/SUP]For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.[SUP]16 [/SUP]Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

I think the what has to be done, is to say no praying in common rooms, and praying for protection for this house and myself. I can't change anyone, but I believe when you feel the Holy Spirt's presence in a room, that can change people. So I put my armor on and keep on praying.
The apostle John clearly states where the Holy Spirit dwells.. He is in you as opposed to the spirit of the antichrist which is outside of you.

1 John 4:[SUP]1[/SUP][SUP]Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.4 [/SUP]Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The Holy Spirit has no business being in a place where the spirit of the antichrist is. He has no need to be when He is in you.

1 Corinthians 6:[SUP]19 [/SUP]What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?[SUP]20 [/SUP]For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

It is the Father that draws all men unto the Son to reveal His son to sinners so they can believe in Him and THEN received the promise of the Spirit by faith in Jesus Christ.

John 6:[SUP]44 [/SUP]No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Matthew 11:[SUP]25 [/SUP]At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.[SUP] 26 [/SUP]Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.[SUP] 27 [/SUP]All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

If you are sensing what you believe is the Holy Spirit's Presence in the room, then that is not the Holy Spirit.

We are all created in God's image, and God can do wonders. This weekend seems to be set for Spiritual Warfare. Now it is time to pray.
You are steeped in spiritual warfare more than you know. Jesus Christ is in you when you had heard the gospel and had believed in Him to be saved. Believe in Him that you are Spirit-filled saved in being born again of the Spirit.

I beg of you to shun vain & profane babbling and pray normally to Jesus Christ at that throne of grace for help in all things. May He lead you to preach the only and real gospel which is the only hope of our ONE calling in Christ Jesus the Lord. Don't preach any thing else for her to get tongues by. Teach her to keep coming to Jesus Christ for all things.

Your being..for me.. too easy going but its on u in the end. I would tell her that if she wants to be all muslim she will have to go.
She has free will to choose but u dont have to put up with her rituals and stuff....

Firstly. Thank you for all good comments and advice.

But some of the entries make me wonder. Do we believe in Christ for our own feel-good sake, or for advancing and advocating the Kingdom of God and spreading of the gospel?

But I can't stop her, can I?
Yes, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers... even if it was a child you gave bith too (blood kin), you should put the Lord first and not live with those that serve other gods.

Just be polite and tell her you'll continue to pray for her and be willing to meet at a restaurant to visit but end the staying at your home.

That's what I would do because you need to make a choice... your relationship with this person or your relationship with God.

Some will say I'm wrong, and they should allow crack addicts to move in with them!

If she wants to sit in the privacy of her room, then I feel it shouldn't matter.
demonic activity being allowed in one's house is no big deal???

Yes, those that do not understand God's Word who lack discernment would see it this way which is a carnal minded way of looking at it... it's what the world would say.

It's just my opinion that all of God's creations are His children even animals....
That's false... only those that get born again and actually walk with the Lord are His children... and animals are just animals and are not to be worshiped which is what some do worship the created more than the Creator

Nothing wrong with desiring to influence someone way from a false religion that will send them to hell over to the Truth as this is what we are called to do it preach the Gospel.

But, bringing them in to your home to live is quite another thing altogether.

I wouldn't do it, but it's also possible that this young lady will end up getting saved and decide to not radicalize and cut yer head off while you sleep one night for her false god allah. If that happens, at least you'll be with the Lord and it'll be wonderful!

Yes, God can protect us, but only if we are led by the Spirit and I personally doubt the Holy Spirit is saying it's OK to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (willingly in your own home) which is what God's Word says. God's protection hinges on doing what He says.

We do see in scripture where Jesus and even Paul avoided dangerous situations as this is part of what God's Wisdom provides.

Tell her Islam points to Christ
You are deceived... islam points to a false jesus, a jesus that is a muzlim who they say will come back and kill Christians and Jews.

That's like saying "Child, it's ok to touch fire now, but I plan to wean you off of it at some point." No! You are confusing their sense of right and wrong. We are to be righteous not wrongsious. We are to teach what is right, and train a child in the way they should go- not allow them to go the wrong way with your blessing.

It is simply unacceptable, and infallible in my mind.
No, actually your solution to throw a child out into the street for disagreeing with you is as wrong as anyone can go.

this rings true to me....
Sadly, it rings true to you because that was what you were given. What you were given was wrong. You did not deserve to be kicked out. You did not deserve your family. You did nothing to deserve to be tossed out like trash. THAT was wrong. That was the horrible thing. I don't care if you became an absolute punk because of that, because, if you did, it was because of that. You were treated wrong and then tried to make something out of that to the best of your abilities. Please don't judge how to treat others by how you were treated. You were treated as poorly as possible. The new yardstick is God's way, not what happened to you.

It is sad that the two people suggesting the girl has to go are two people on this forum treated with contempt as children. Neither one of you deserved the youth you got. It was horrible! It is not God's ways. At best, it is why God chose you to teach you what love really is and his ways to love.

You both really need to cling to God and his ways, because the way you were raised is the only thing you knew, until God saved you, so you have the potential to think how you were raised was sort of all right, kind of, in some way. Nope! Nopenopenopenope! What you got growing up is a look of the exact opposite of God's way. Learn that or you're doomed to repeat what you grew up with to your kids, if you ever have any.

Then show her what is unacceptable- abusing self or others, worshipping a false god, playing on the freeway, sticking your hand in a fire.

I understand being patient with nonchristians, teaching them, using the power of influence, praying for their soul, but never would I promote, allow, or tolerate the worship of anyone but God! Not even for a second. That's like being patient with an alcoholic, which is fine, but I'm not going to supply them alcohol or allow them to get drunk in my house, even one time- cause that's like promiting it. With something so drastic I am not going to wait for the power of influence. My house- under my roof- no one is going to be allowed to disrespect my God. I would say it in a calm tone, but I would be 100% forcful making sure rule #1 is followed through in my house! "As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord." "Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only!"

It is the worst thing! What if she had sex on your living room floor, or murdered someone in your home? NOTHING is worse than worshipping another god, or allowing your household to worship another god.
Something is worse than that -- hate!

I have converted many muslims to Christianity, all without accepting or promoting false practice, all without breaking rule #1 "As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord."
How many have you invited to live with you? That's the difference. You might talk to them. Toi has invited this young girl to live with her.

You have no idea if you converted those folks or not, because they won't be in your life for long. You don't know if they will persevere. Toi might, because nothing says love more than letting me live with you when I had no place to call home.

I think it is good

1 Corinthians 9:19-23King James Version (KJV)

19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
