I have read that. The TESTIMONY of Jesus IS the spirit of prophesy. We all have the testimony of Jesus. The question then becomes, what do we all do with this testimony.

Everyone who has a voice are "singers." How many are good or blessed at it? Some who can sing, cannot draw but we all have hands to do it. Thus some are called to be singers, others artists and so on.

It it is the same with prophecy. All those who preach or teach about God or religion are prophets.
Just because one prophecies does not make them a prophet. Every one can have a measure of the Spirit of Prophesy and prophecy! But just because one prophecies does not mean there called to that office among the body of Christ

If one prophesies, then that makes them a prophet. Does that however, make them a true prophet of God? Only through the testimony of Jesus can we separate the two. In another place in the bible, this is called testing the spirits or the words that precedes from them.

What IS a prophet to you? And I already explained that. We all have voices and are singers. Some however were made to sing while others sound like a dog barking at the moon.

Revelation 11:3

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

I know plenty of people who have been given prophetic words by God for all sorts of things, in my church a few people have prophetic words for our church, but that does not make them prophets of God. As I said prophet is used all too easy to elevate and self promote. The way I see it a true prophet of God is someone who God has given the responsibility to try and guide or speak to nations and populations, how many prophets are there in the Bible and what did they do to be called prophets?

Those being the true and false witnesses of Israel.

Those being the true and false witnesses of Israel.
The two witnesses are both true prophets of God, not one being true and one being false.
They both are sent from God to warn others of things that are immediately about to take place.

Do you believe prophets are still in operation today or Apostle.
According to my experience, prophets are persons who put their own words in the mouth of God and not the opposite. Hence yes prophets still operate today (pastors, priest, tele-evangelists, etc...).

I will admit that I am not sure on this, as I believe it could be Moses and Elijah as that is who appeared to Jesus.
But at the same time the bible does say man is appointed to die once, and Moses did die, so I think it could be Enoch and Elijah also because both were carried away and did not die.
Revelation shows they are killed by the man of sin and their bodies left in the street for all to see, so if Moses is one of the two then this would be a second time Moses dies.

Why still waiting as Revelation 11:3 I posted showed they prophecy for 1,260 days or 3 1/2 years........
I suggest you look up the word and what it actually means and meant to a 1st century Christian as opposed to a modern translation!

So the KJV is a modern translation, last time I checked by studies done the KJV even though has a few issues of its own is still the closest to the original text.

Romans 3

5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

Even the lie is to the glory of God.

Yeah no doubt...God forbid you actually take the time to go to the original languages to LEARN something new and or IMPROVE your knowledge a bit!
