I think that the false prophet already came and his name was muhammad.

But its a different thread story...
Well of course he was a false Phrophet... GOD said Isaac and we believe GOD.

but even so dark forces want to be gods and live forever with the help of the serpent.... and they seek to deceive the world to obtain this...

I am sorry, I think this is totally unfair. The Jews are the enemies of the Gospel. So we bless them, and pray for them, but we do not need to become apologists for them

Isaiah 65 15 And ye shall leave your name (Israel) for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:(Christians)
.....................17
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying

so you are going to stoop that low?

you have been the creator of a good many threads and all a person has to do is search with your name for the threads you created

here is a prize winner right here that illustrates you have been Jew bashing and hating for a long time and it is nothing new for you:

your op, written entirely to establish anti-Semitism in favor of your opinions and hatred for the Jews

here is another you started to discuss your anti-Semitism: http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/125571-did-god-promise-give-abraham.html

Romans 9:6-8 KJV
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
[7] Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
[8] That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Have you been duped into believing that fleshly Israel is the children of the promise? Well they're not, the children of the promise are the children of God, they are the true Israel, they are the true seed of Abraham.

Guess who the children of the promise are... Just like Isaac was, we who are saved by grace through faith are the children of the promise. Shame on those Jews and Christian Zionist's for trying to take our place!

Galatians 4:28 KJV
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

here is another you started to discuss your anti-Semitism: http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/125571-did-god-promise-give-abraham.html

and another: http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/132476-children-promise.html

and here is one in which you say the 7 year tribulation mentioned in Daniel is not what most believe it to be and while you are at it, you give the Jews another good thrashing

http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/107339-seven-year-tribulation-myth.html

here is another where you try to 'spiritualize' what most realize is a physical occurence with spiritual application..but not you oh no cause that interfers with your preterist beliefs

http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/94705-rightly-dividing-word-truth.html

yup. many many threads started by you

a virtual encyclopedia of your anti-Semitism, KJV only cult beliefs and your preterist convictions

it's all there

maybe someone else would like to research it? anyway, everyone can read it

just search under your profile for threads you started and ain't nothing gonna tell the truth about you better than you

This sounds too "holywood" to me.

These "dark forces" (used from Star Wars? :)) know very well who has the life, only. And what is their end.

hehe.. you made me chuckle and pun intended?

That aside:

Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

Read all as always.

Three questions always come to mind when New Jerusalem is discussed.

1. Who will reside inside the city? It's relatively small when compared to the entire earth.

2. Who will reside outside the city?

3. Who will travel in and out of the city? It has 12 guarded gates.

What about trains? And buses? Will there be taxi drivers?

Hm, everything of gold... our eyes will hurt! I hope some kind of eye drops and sunglasses (or should I say goldglasses) will be in supermarkets!

:)

Its all symbolic. We cannot imagine how our spiritual life will look like when God will create everything new. Thats why only symbols are given to us.

i would gladly take many slaps to the head to bring you Heavenly Father and The Messiah's Truth.

Greetings trofimus,

There will be no need for trains, buses and taxis! Remember, at that time believers will all be in their immortal and glorified bodies. These bodies that were sown in weakness will be raised and changed to have power. We will not be restricted to walking, but will most likely be able to travel at will.

The new Jerusalem is a real city that God is preparing for the faithful. As Snoozy pointed out, the dimensions and characteristics of the city are very detailed, which would not lend to a symbolic interpretation. There are twelve gates each made from a single pearl with an angel at each gate. The width, depth and height are the same being 1500 miles. The wall of the city is 200 ft. thick. And the river of life will be running down the middle of the city. Paul mentions the city in reference to the hero's of faith"

"All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Jesus refers to the New Jerusalem as a real city:

" I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name."

At the end of Revelation there is a warning for those who add to or take away from the book of Revelation. For those who take away, he will take away that persons share in the tree of life and the new Jerusalem:

" And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll."

When you have something mentioned consistently in scripture, it is a good indication that it is meant to be interpreted in the literal sense.

I believe that it is a literal city. My question is, why the gates, why the guard, and who will use them?

Hi Billyd,

There is nothing really said about why there will be an angel at each gate. It may just have to do with God's policy. The prestige of the city. All we know is that scripture tells us that there will be twelve angels, one for each gate.

After a full five minutes of careful study on a controversial topic, local believer Andrea Williams confirmed Wednesday that she had come to the conclusion that the Bible was 100% in agreement with what she wanted to be true in the first place.

The Christian woman performed extensive research into the topic, including googling phrases like, “how do I explain away verses that disagree with me in the Bible,” and, “how to eisegete,” before cracking open her copy of the Scriptures and spending minutes poring over the text.

“It’s really amazing—when I just make the effort to spend a few deliberate, hasty minutes in the Word, I can get the text to fall in line with my preconceived notions about issues that matter to me,” she was heard saying as she consciously chose to ignore the clear meaning of the inspired words in favor of an unlikely interpretation only arrived by imposing her worldview on the text.

“I love how when we come to the Word of God and allow it to shape our minds, it always does us a favor by conforming to our own understanding first."

Read for example The Shepherd of Hermas and see how such genre as Revelation with some symbolic buildings was used in the first centuries.

You understand the text differently than the first Christians. You can say that you, 21st centuries later, have better understanding of what is written. As you wish.

If it is a proper thing to call literal reading "understanding" at all...

I think this is a question of great importance to the end times.

What would make it authentic? Land borders and real estate? The religion of the Phraisees (modern Judaism) or the DNA of the Hebrews?
God's acceptance? Why are the people so white, and why are the dark-skinned ones treated with contempt? How come Tel Aviv is a homosexual capital of this planet, even though that is against the Torah?

What are Christians supposed to think about it? Are we supposed to wait and see? Or are we to serve with money, warfare, and adoration?

Isn't it illegal to preach Christianity there? What are we to do about that? We complain when dictatorships have such rules, but what should our position be on that state?
***Support and pray for Israel***Christ will rule and reign from Jerusalem***God's eye is on Israel and those who oppose her will suffer, those who support her will be blessed***

It is a pity that those who support all things Jewish dont take time to find out how first century Jews interpreted their own Scriptures. That includes Jesus and Paul.
