Your profile says you are a Christian. Why would a Christian promote a LIE that the quran is copied from the bible? Friend I have spent much time studying this subject, the quran teaches the exact opposite of the bible, it is not a copy. You may be able to con those who have not studied the subject, but those familiar with the Scriptures that have read the quran will see right through the lie you are promoting! Are you truly a Christian, or is this a case of taqiyya being used to promote a false religion?

And The Book, the clear/evident. Certainly we have made it an Arabic Koran, perhaps you comprehend. (43.2 – 3)

The Book is the Holy Bible.

It was translated into an Arabic Koran.

Thus…how is that you can claim anything for your assertion when their book of faith is merely a second-hand paraphrased copy of the original…?

You don't know ANY Arabic...

Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

Read it and weep! Jump through all the hoops you want to sanitize the quran, but that will not change what it actually says. You can continue to promote the lie that the quran is copied from the bible but those who have read both can see right through that lie!
Your profile says you are a Christian. Your posts indicate something else, possibly someone practicing taqiyyah? So the question becomes have you been decieved or are you the deciever?

Please show us the Arabic word(s) rendered as 'in boast'...'they killed him not'....'made to appear'....

Good luck..:)

I'd love to see a passage where the Quran specifically states that the real Jesus, not a fill in or look alike, died on the cross, was buried and raised on the third say.

No true Muslim believes that for, as far as I'm concerned, doesn't exist in the book of the Koran. If it does, then the entire Quran is a fake! Why? Because of this one verse!

That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”—but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not—nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.” (Qur’an, 4:157-158, Yusuf Ali)

Sura 86

الطارق

“Alttariqi”

“The Morning Star”

(Named in honor of the Biblical Jesus)

Sura 86 is compared to its most likely sources – i.e. Johns’ Gospel & Johns’ Book of Revelation.

In weaving this material together, the Koranic authors have tailor-made sura 86 to revolve completely around the Second Coming of the Biblical Jesus Christ. In fact, sura 86 is even named in honor of the Biblical Jesus Christ, as it plucks one of His attributes from the text – as do legions of other Koranic suras.

Among numerous other things, sura 86 undeniably confirms to us these key points:

• That Jesus was crucified until death upon the Cross
• That Jesus was singularly resurrected
• That Jesus will return on a cloud to judge the dead at His Second Coming & gather His Elect

Summary:

86.1 And/by the clouds, and/by the Morning Star. (Announces Jesus’ Second Coming, on a cloud)

86.2 And who told you what the Morning Star is? (Asks the question: Who Told John of Jesus Second Coming?)

86.3 The star, the brightly shining. (Answers the question: Jesus, the Bright Morning Star, tells John)

86.4 Indeed every soul gathers on its Guardian. (Jesus, the Guardian, gathers His souls)

86.5 So, the human looks upon that which was created the inner man. (The reason for the gathering of the souls: Jesus is viewed upon the Cross)

86.6 The inner man was created out of water pouring forth at once. (Jesus’ Crucifixion & death upon the Cross)

86.7 He emerges from amidst the Cross and the grave. Or…86.7 He emerges from between the backbone and the ribs. (Jesus’ Crucifixion & Resurrection)

86.8 Certainly Him above, He returned Him to the present state of existence after death, truly possessing power. (Jesus’ Singular Resurrection)

86.9 A day The Marriage will turn to its reality. (The First Resurrection)

86.10 So truly not His from strength and nor Savior. (The Second Death)

86.11 And/by the cloud, Lord of the return. (Jesus’ Second Coming on a cloud)

86.12 And/by the earth, Lord of the separation. (Jesus gathers His elect)

86.13 Truly His Word is Judgment. (Jesus is the Word which judges mankind)

86.14 And He is not with the vain. (The fall of Babylon the Great)

86.15 Truly them, they devise an artful device. (Satan’s war)

86.16 And I devise an artful device. (Jesus’ war)

86.17 So respite the disbelievers, respite them gently for a little while. (Repent to Jesus)

Jesus Christ suffered for our sins in full, he walked among men so that we may know exactly how we should walk, how many Christians do you see slaying muslims , it doesn't take a genius to see that the Quran is a weapon of mass destruction, a man seeking bloodshed is an abomination to the Lord,to not accept that Jesus Christ suffered for all of mankind how else can you be forgiven for your sins?, He was the perfect version of what man is supposed to be you are misleading the world to say otherwise

You can't change what the Arabic plainly states, brother.

You should be glad that the Koran is an extra-Biblical confirmation to the fact that Jesus IS God.

Instead, you, and others are letting Satan enter into your being as you vehemently deny this truth in favor of the big lie that islam had told you.

The Koran is repackaged Biblical material designed for Arabic consumption.

The fact that islam has misinterpreted their scriptures does not mean that everyone else needs to do likewise.

By way of comparison, you believe in the Jewish OT scriptures...same as do modern day Jews...and yet, why is it that you can clearly see Jesus and the triune God being discussed while they cannot?

You are both studying the SAME text!

Perhaps now you can understand what is occurring in the Koran...thanks!

It states very plainly that it merely copied the Holy Bible.

You are following what islam has told you, rather than investigating the matter for yourself...
early christians said Islam/Koran was the worst of all "christian" heresies.

The Koran was most likely penned by early Arab Christians.

Much of what is contained in the Koran is an attempt to clear-up the heresies of that time...such as the thought that Mary was part of the Trinity, etc, etc...

The Koran never claims to be divinely inspired, thus we should not expect that it is...

Then why would/should anyone turn away from the word of God for the quran?

They shouldn't.

The Koran ALWAYS points the reader back to its source, the Holy Bible.

Don't you think that if God could write the beginning to the end that he would see how much terror, destruction, and division the quran would bring? I do not think there is anything holy there

And...how much 'destruction' have Christians performed over the centuries in their interpretation of the Holy Bible?

It all goes back to interpretation of scriptures...

You cannot propose the source of the Quran is the Holy Bible, when 1 - Satan is not a fallen angel .. See the start of Isaiah 14 and chapter 13 in context. Modern day christians even get this wrong, but surely.. 2 Jesus is not your messiah and 3 we all go to a false hell if we don't accept the Quran where spirits and jihns torment us untill God deems us worthy.. 4 - The Quran and its Doctorine are TOTALLY different to what the Bible actually witholds in all source and accuracy. This "Source of our book is the bible" attitude can easily be misleading for those innocent enough to accept it without perusal, and should not be passed on to prove anything Right or Wrong.

simple chick.. The fear talked about in the bible is not the fear your talking about.. To fear the Lord is ultimately to respect him.
