Well I am coming from the angle of the Lord our God's own words from Jesus who said we are to show LOVE, MERCY, and FORGIVENESS to all people !!!

His way and angle should be all that matters, not what society or man's way has lead us growing up...............
This post makes me sick coming from a guy who does nothing but preach condemnation towards those who believe God's grace is sufficient for everlasting life rather than performing works based faith.

Pedophiles -- good; people of faith only -- bad. Absolutely sickening and fallacious.

I'm a microsecond away from writing something that's going to get me banned!

In actuality, you have protected no one if you did not stop the violation BEFORE it happened. All you are really doing is satisfying a desire for vengeance.

Have you read my "six-years, and it's right back like it used to be." comment?
You protect the next would-be victim.

I don't preach condemnation at nobody so please do not push that lie on me, as we have enough people on here that push lies on others.

I never said Pedophiles are good people, but they are to be shown the same love, mercy, and forgiveness just like everybody else.

Lord Jesus did not say forgive and show mercy to only those you feel like showing it to, He said we are to show it to all people including enemies !!!

They don't. They like what they like, period. Assuming you're not gay, would you sleep with men because the law no longer permitted sleeping with women? Rhetorical question, we know the answer.
And yet I've seen it happen right before my very eyes. Jesus always said that if you have faith you'll see miracles happen that others won't. I'm sorry you find yourself in the latter crowd.

And don't tell me you respect my writings. Your very response tells me you cruise them looking for something you can answer negatively. Jesus had words about that too.

Jesus hung before all those who had put them there and said Lord forgive them they don't know what they are doing. The fact that you don't understand that confirms what I've suspected from your missives on faith and works.

Take some time off, and calm down. Let us know when you're ready to talk RATIONALLY and with common sense. 'Cause I'll take those over pissed brain-spew any day.

This is not true, it is entirely possible for someone to get away from any desire they have, even sexually immorality. There are people who have done it, after deciding to make the choice to leave it behind and set their heart on God, and what is right.

Society would have you believe they don't change !!!

I agree with this entirely.

How can we call sexual immorality wrong if no one has the power to help it? If we all believe our genes make us all lustful and sexually immoral, then no one can tell another that its wrong, youre just "wired' that way.

Anyone can say no to any and all sexual temptation. Anyone who says they cant help it are only doing so to justify living it.

You can coddle and make nice-nice with all the pedophiles you'd like; if I ever catch one harming a child they'll meet God immediately. I stand by my words.

Speaking as someone who has come from the homosexual lifestyle, I can honestly tell you that I have never had this desire in my life :/ Im not really sure where the whole "homosexuals are often pedophiles" teaching really comes from, and I dont really believe its 100% true.

As for hating someone who is guilty of this, if it were someone who were a happy participant of this sinful act, and had no desire to change, I could see how anger would come about towards them. The Lord tells us we must repent to recieve His mercy. But someone who had committed the sin, who was living in real fear of God with regret for what they have done, being someone who has been there before as well, I do think that as His followers, we should accept them and hand them the Gospel. Christ died for all sinners, that they may not die, but have everlasting life.

Thank you for your input, my Brother. I'm not talking about a weak, confused person who goes a little too far with someone who's 16 or 17, gets hit with reality and deeply repents; I'm talking about predators. Dead predators make good citizens, and I like when that transition takes place.

This is nothing new to me, this blind prejudicial hatred. But it still saddens me. Mainly because it rejects everything Jesus taught. It, basically says His death on that cross means nothing to us because we intend to still follow our own desires by turning our backs on Him and His sacrifice and perpetuating violence in this world... no matter what He asked us to do for Him.

Tell you what, if I catch one molesting a kid I'll hold him for you.

If I find one on his knees, crying and begging for forgiveness and change, I'll hold him for Jesus.

You walk in to find your child, grandchild, great-grandchild, whatever, being brutally raped by a pedophile, maybe even two or three pedophiles.

You, A) immediately embrace with complete love and forgiveness the predator(s) violently raping your defenseless kin, or B) introduce them to the Great Equalizer, the 357 magnum in your nightstand?

Come on now Utah you are getting ridiculous as nobody is saying they would set back and allow it to happen or embrace them right away as your first A situation.

The wrong thinking would be that those are the only two choices, as physical force can still be used to stop the act without death being the only outcome.

If I found one of my kids in this situation you better believe I would charge in and do everything in my power to stop them, if it has to go as far as death resulting then so be it, but that does not have to be the only option !!!

I would pray for God to have mercy on their soul because things would not be pretty after I was done with him.

WE are to show forgiveness and mercy toward others, but that doesn't make one exempt from the consequences of their actions. Forgiving someone no matter the sin doesn't mean they are exempt from the law of the land. God can forgive a rapist, but they are to still endure the punishment of earthly law.

But once the deed is done, then all bets are off, is that it?

We must handle the predators with kid gloves. NPI.

Why would you not embrace them right away? What's up with that? If you're going to walk the Christian walk, then walk it all the time, not just when its convenient for you.

I Vote B) You introduce them to the Great Equalizer, the 357 magnum in your nightstand.

But if you walk into church to find one on their knees, you show them love and forgiveness.
