Romans 1:28-32, "And so, since they did not like to retain YHWH in their knowledge, YHWH gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper; Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual impurity, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, Backbiters, haters of YHWH, despiteful, arrogant, and boastful. They are inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, And without understanding. They are covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, and unmerciful: Who, knowing the righteous judgment of YHWH, that those who practice such things deserve death, not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them."
Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 13-1-10, “Thus יהוה said to me, “Go and get yourself a linen girdle, and put it on your loins, but do not put it in water. So I bought a girdle according to the word of יהוה, and put it on my loins. And the word of יהוה came to me the second time, saying, Take the girdle that you have bought, which is on your loins, and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole in the rock.” And I went and hid it by the Euphrates, as יהוה commanded me. And it came to be after many days that יהוה said to me, “Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take from there the girdle which I commanded you to hide there. So I went to the Euphrates and dug, and I took the girdle from the place where I had hidden it. And there was the girdle, ruined. It was completely useless. And the word of יהוה came to me, saying, Thus said יהוה, ‘Thus I ruin the pride of Yehuḏah and the great pride of Yerushalayim. This evil people, who refuse to hear My Words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and walk after other mighty ones to serve them and to bow themselves to them, is like this girdle which is completely useless.”
Psalms 81:8-16, “Hear, O My people, and let Me warn you, O Yisra’ĕl, if you would listen to Me! Let there be no strange mighty one among you, And do not bow down to a foreign mighty one. I am יהוה your Strength, Who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim; Open your mouth wide, and I fill it. But My people did not listen to My voice, And Yisra’ĕl would not submit to Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels. O, if My people had listened to Me, Yisra’ĕl would walk in My ways, I would subdue their enemies at once, And turn My hand against their adversaries! Those who hate יהוה would cringe before Him; And their time of punishment be forever. He would feed them with the finest of wheat; And with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

And יהוה said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Iyoḇ, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and straight man, one who fears Elohim and turns aside from evil? And Satan answered יהוה and said, “Is Iyoḇ fearing Elohim for naught? Have You not made a hedge around him, and around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But stretch out Your hand, please, and strike all that he has – if he would not curse You to Your face! And יהוה said to Satan, “See, all that he has is in your hand. Only do not lay a hand on himself.” And Satan went out from the presence of יהוה.”

And יהוה said to Satan, “From where do you come?” And Satan answered יהוה and said, “From diligently searching in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And יהוה said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Iyoḇ, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and straight man, one who fears Elohim and turns aside from evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause. And Satan answered יהוה and said, “Skin for skin, and all that a man has he would give for his life! But stretch out Your hand, please, and strike his bone and his flesh – if he would not curse You to Your face! And יהוה said to Satan, “See, he is in your hand, only spare his life. And Satan went out from the presence of יהוה, and struck Iyoḇ with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.”

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall prove wrong. This is the inheritance of the servants of יהוה, and their righteousness from Me,” declares יהוה.”

And who is able to bear the day of His coming, and who is able to stand when He appears? For He is like the fire of a refiner, and like the soap of a launderer. And He shall sit as a refiner and a cleanser of silver. And He shall cleanse the sons of Lĕwi, and refine them as gold and silver, and they shall belong to יהוה, bringing near an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Yehuḏah and Yerushalayim be pleasant to יהוה, as in the days of old, as in former years. And I shall draw near to you for right-ruling. And I shall be a swift witness against the practitioners of witchcraft, and against adulterers, and against them that swear to falsehood, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages and widows and the fatherless, and those who turn away a sojourner and do not fear Me,” said יהוה of hosts. For I am יהוה, I shall not change, and you, O sons of Ya‛aqoḇ, shall not come to an end.”
Zechariah 13:7-9, “O sword, awake against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” declares יהוה of hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered. And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name, and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘יהוה is my Strength.”
1 Peter 1:6-7, “(Salvation) in which you exult, even though for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by manifold trials, in order that the proving of your belief – much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire – might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of יהושע Messiah.”
