When did I argue against God's grace or the finished work of Christ on the cross? I said a man doesn't always get what he prays for but he always reaps what he justly earns.
For starters every man has earned a date with death on the account of his sinful nature. In the physical world the human brain is the pinnacle of God's creation. IMO. He has given us the ability to reason and to feel love. The mind is a garden. Everywhere in scripture it talks about the wisdom of God.....were we not created in His image? That he would allow us to possess what I think is one of his coolest attributes....wisdom...and it kind of goes hand in hand with love. Anyway, I digress.
The outward state of a man is a direct reflection of his inner state. Given that God made us in His image, we also possess his ability and love of creating. We can not directly influence our outward circumstance and what happens to us. But we certainly do influence it by way of the condition of our soul and spirit. If you grow a garden full of evil and destructive thoughts in your mind........you will most certainly reap a harvest of sorrow.....and you earned that garden.
Sirk. Do you somehow think that these who suffer with intrusive thoughts and psychosis want to be like this?
Do you know any person who enjoys being sick?
What would you think they would pray for or go to a doctor for?
Because they want to continue in this suffering? They want to continue in this state?
Are you confusing those with a seated concience with these who are duffering and know they are suffering from mental illness who want to get better and are condemning them as deserving this suffering?
The outward man is manifested by the inner thoughts of that man's spirit? Is this what you are suggesting. That they need to control their inner intrusive thoughts or otherwise they will just reap what is inward...
Really?
I don't believe I am understanding you correctly
And....I am actually hoping that I am not understanding you correctly
