1 Thessalonians
4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

All those that are dead in Christ shall come together with the living in Christ at the pre-trib rapture. This is the Church that will be the Bride of Christ clothed in fine white linen as described in Revelation 19.
Mat 25 is the rapture

Half are left behind.
mat 24 also has half left behind.

There is no other "1/2" dynamic i know of.

Half of what?

Consistently it is half the church followed by " be ready"

If it is something else other than the rapture Jesus was confused in declaring " be ready"

Be ready as opposed to dont be ready and stay behind.

If it is all the church ( which it is not) there is no " get/be ready at all.
No left behind at all.
Jesus wasted his words

He even told us incorrectly " pray that you be counted worthy to escape the things..."

Why would i do that? All believers are worthy?

Not according to the bible.

The left behind ones had dirty robes. They had to be washed.
Not worthy

Here is your fallacy

"the dead in Christ will rise first ... " how are they watching and waiting?
What do you think you proved?

That in your mind millions escape the ac by going from cave to cave?

... I meant to say "she is the Bride"

Some ancient old latin texts which pre-date St Jerome's vulgate have it "at midnight the cry went up "behold the Bridegroom cometh with His bride ..."

Why did Jerome drop that? I think he saw the virgins as the church and knew that there could not be 2 churches, so he dropped the bride. That solved his problem but it altered the meaning of the parable. All translations have followed Jerome.

But whether she is mentioned or not she is still there conspicuous by her absence.
....with half those virgins left behind.
Not hals words Jesus words.

Forget those dead men you think you are debunking.
The bible says what it says even if an animal speaks it.

Your claim is false, God the Holy Spirit seals all believers

As stated, the 144,000 are sealed and "Added to the Church" on earth during the tribulation, and will be resurrected and caught up with the Church at the second coming (immediately after the tribulation)

You espouse Zionism's (Dual Covenant Theology) a seal for Jews, and a different seal for the Church

You falsely teach of Jews ruling in a Millennial Kingdom on this earth, that will never take place, (Zionism) in (Dual Covenant Theology) a fact
Nobody is resurrected after the gt but those at the gwt judgement.

The rapture is clearly pretrib.
Postribbers have the gathering of rev 14 ahead of the dead in christ.

Backwards from what 1 thes 4 declares.
Backwards.

The Remnant, chosen elect Jew will repent, be sealed by God the Holy Spirit, and added to the Church, just as all believers have

Your teaching a seal for the Church, and a different seal for the Jew is a false Zionist teaching, (Dual Covenant Theology)
then the 144k are sealed for no reason as they are christians already.

Your theory left that out.

Yet another leap that fails.

Thank you Jesus for your word.

No, not Hal, it came from PAUL. Who do you think will get the "sudden destruction?" It will be all those "left behind." That is very scriptural.

What basis? Suppose a child of God has NO FAITH In a pretrib rapture? They will not be expecting Him. Everything we get from heaven we get by and through faith. I suspect the rapture will be the same. When Jesus comes to the air, HE will certainly know who is expecting Him and who imagines He will not come until after the AC comes. How many times has God told us to WATCH?
God will honor their need to face the ac and be martyred. Jesus will not stop them.

Heads will roll.

No watch
No pray
No fly away.

Your claim of a Pre-Trib rapture is found no place in scripture, a man made false teaching found of John N. Darby & Adulterer C.I. Scofields 1909 reference bible known as Dispensationalism
When you are being martyred be sure and blame those dead men.

It will....AGAIN.... Get you nowhere.

Those dead men are not helping your " case"....or lack of one.

I disagree. The rapture is only for those "in Christ" while they were living. It was impossible for the OT saints to be "in Christ" for He and not yet died for them. I believe their resurrection will come at the end of the week. We will be one flock during Marriage Supper!

I am not sure if the OT saints will be part of the Bride or just guests. Do you have a verse?
The ot saints were visited by Jesus in paradise where the temporarily resided.
They were raised as firstfruits resurrection after Jesus rose and were seen walking in Jerusalem.

They will not be in the main harvest ( the rapture)

Now where on earth are you getting your theology from, it is not coming from the BIBLE ?

O.T. Assembly = those who believed GOD would send Messiah to pay for their sins.

N.T. Assembly = those who believed GOD did send Messiah to pay for our sins.

NOW HOW IS THAT NOT the Same Faith that Put us IN CHRIST ? ? ?

Psalm 51:11-12 (ESV)
11 Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Malachi 3:6 (HCSB)
6 Because I, Yahweh, have not changed,
you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.

That means the SAME WAY HE SAVED PEOPLE IN THE O.T. times is the SAME WAY HE SAVES THEM NOW.

Isaiah 43:10-11 (HCSB)
10 “You are My witnesses”— ⌊this is⌋ the LORD’s declaration— “and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. No god was formed before Me, and there will be none after Me.
11 I, I am Yahweh, and there is no other Savior but Me.

Deuteronomy 30:6 (ESV)
6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

Has he not Circumcised OUR hearts, so that we will LOVE THE LORD ? ? ?

Matthew 22:37-38 (HCSB)
37 He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
38 This is the greatest and most important command.

Look in my last post for your answer to your question.
This is truth and a fact: UNTIL Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, NO ONE could become born again. It would have been impossible. OT saints sins were COVERED, not removed. The prophet, priest and king had the Holy Spirit UPON them by it was impossible for them to be born again. NO ONE could until Jesus died and rose from the dead. In your theory Christ did not have to die. That is a lie. We will never know how much it cost God to take on the flesh of man and die for us.

Faith in a coming messiah was enough to send them to Abraham's bosom. But they had to remain there until Jesus rose from the dead. Did you not read in Matthew 27 where Jesus raised the elders of the OT saints when He rose?

To be "in Christ" is to be born again. The very first humans to be born again were those in the upper room when Jesus breathed on them and said, "receive the Holy Spirit."

I don't want wrong answers.

There's Going To Be An End Times Persecution, The Beast And His Kingdom Are The Target Of God's Empowered (Two Witnesses)

The Great Tribulation Will Come Upon The Wicked World, While The (Sealed Church) Is Protected

The (Sealed Church) will be present on earth and protected, when wicked men are tormented 5 months, desiring to die as death flees

All saved believers are (Sealed) by God, Eph 1:13, 4:30

Ephesians 1:13KJV
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30KJV
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

It Was Commanded, Only Those Without God's Seal, The Sealed Church Is Protected

Revelation 9:3-6KJV
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Plagues upon The Beast and his Kingdom, a remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt

Revelation 11:3-6
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Revelation 16:1-11KJV
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

If you are thinking of those who Christ raised up when He rose (Mat. 27), it said "many." It did not say "all." Jesus said He would raise them up on the last day. I think those were "elders" raised.

Your claim is false, those that rose after Jesus death were "Raised From The Dead" just like Lazarus was, who later died a physical death

Not one word mentions "Resurrection" that's only found in your imagination

The ac is the white horseman.
That scene John saw of Jesus taking the scroll is future. It will happen .
You are framing end times in the framework that it already happened.
That entire scene is future.
But that historical view has you also framing a future ac into a mid trib model.
You think the ac is not REVEALED untill he desecrates the temple.

Not so.
YOu can say that but you cannot back it up with scripture. It is therefore only myth. Oh, it is myth believed by many! For example: show us even one word at the first seal that would even hint that he is evil. Show us any verse that would even hint it is future to us today.

Let's look at scripture; not human reasoning:

1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. [The book that would end up getting Satan kicked off this throne as god of this world.]

2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? [An angel searching for someone who would be worthy to open the seals.]

3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. [That search ended in failure; no one was found. ]

4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
[John wept much because the search he had watched had ended and no one was found.]

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. [Note the word "prevailed: Jesus prevailed over dead, rose from the dead, and was then found worthy to open the seals.]

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. [Time passed, Jesus sent Mary away and ascended, and immediately sent the Holy Spirit down.]

7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
[What was the first thing Jesus did? He went and got the book from the Father's hand.]
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. [You cannot find 2000 years here or even a hint of time, because that was not the intent of the Author. Jesus ascending and sending the Holy Spirit down is the context of the first seal, and that happened in 32 AD. That is the very reason God included Jesus ascension and sending down the Holy Spirit]
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: [If you would care to look, God had John use the color white 17 times in Revelation. All the other times were to represent righteousness, worthiness or Godliness. You are expecting readers to then believe that God would use the color white ONCE out of 17 times for something evil. Sorry, but NEVER HAPPEN.]

You are imagining history in the framework that it is future.

But that historical view has you also framing a future ac into a mid trib model. No. Truth.

You think the ac is not REVEALED untill he desecrates the temple. Let's reword this slightly.
The man of sin will be on every TV station around the world some short time after the rapture. He will seem to have the answer to everything. He will explain the disappearance of perhaps half the world's population. He will seem to be the world's answer to everything! But one thing the world will not know: WHO HE WILL BECOME!

AT the midpoint of the week He will THEN be revealed as the AC Beast of chapter 13. That is why John does not mention Him as the Beast rising UNTIL chapter 13 - the midpoint being in chapter 11.

Sorry, my friend, but you were mistaken on every point.

I want to see the One I have been walking with these more than 40 years.

"many [said He] will be offended and fall away and brother will betray brother ... " these are they who have bought the line that the church will not go through the great persecution aka the great tribulation.
That was a nice sidestep but not a direct answer to the question. I will ask again:

If Jesus came tonight for His bride (your theories will not change HIM) WILL YOU BE EXPECTING HIM? Will you be looking for Him?

Under your model Jesus will not open the seals in the future.

I already showed you redeemed elders standing there before, as you say, "Jesus was not yet resurrected."
There is nothing supporting your model.
Very shaky to assume you are the only one on the planet with that "knowledge".

Or can you post a link?

Now read the text.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

They were standing there before Jesus was supposedly on the cross.

Does not fit....at all.

Now lets see your theory;
Where is a search?

2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
No search in that verse

3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
No search there either.
it says PROCLAIMING. IOW no search was needed.
I think you manufactored that entire deal.

Jesus was there all along.

WRONG ! ! !

It as as GOOD as already DONE, the moment HE PLANNED IT, before TIME BEGAN.

You are getting your theology from the World's Point of View.

GET IT FROM THE BIBLE.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

There NEVER was a good part of HADIES, that is worldly thinking. How do I KNOW ? ? ?

Mal. 3:6 (NJB)
6 ‘No; I, Yahweh, do not change;
and you have not ceased to be children of Jacob!

Abraham's Bosom, only mean's he was walking hand in hand with Abraham in HEAVEN.

1620490989976.png . 1620491096098.png

That is a sign of CLOSE FRIENDS, that is still Practiced today in the Mideast. A hundred years ago, we had an expression:
BOSOM BUDDIES. Just like ABRAHAM'S BOSOM, never meant a special place for saved spirits, until JESUS had a Chance to fulfill it. NEVER!
It was a done DEAL the Moment HE PLANNED IT.

2 Corinthians 5:8 (NKJV)
8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Malachi 3:6 (GWT)
6 I, the LORD, never change.
That is why you descendants of Jacob haven't been destroyed yet.
