As a post tribber, I don't believe the trumpet associated with Christ's Second Coming is the 7th trumpet of Revelation. That would place Christ back on earth somewhere in the middle of the trib, or earlier.

There can easily be the "7 trumpet judgments" and a final trumpet, announcing Christ's return, at the end of the trib.
The Great Tribulation ends before the first trumpet event begins.

The time of the Two Witnesses coincides with the Trumpet Events - because, the Two Witnesses cause them to come about.

The description of what occurs "Immediately after the tribulation of those days" in Matthew 24:29 is the Trumpet Events.

Nope. Sorry. Wrong. False statement.

The Wrath of God is post Two Witnesses - which is post Great Tribulation.
Excuse me?..........Rev 6:16 is a looooong way before mid-trib. It statements like those that make me want to put people on ignore. It's just too wackadoo to merit a response.

Go look at the chart/table on the web page linked to in post #3842.

Put two and two together.

Look closely...

Who kills the Two Witnesses?

Where did they come from?

Could/Would they ascend out of the bottomless pit before it was opened?

Of course not.

Would you say the Two Winesses are killed at some point in time after Trumpet 5 is initiated?

( Just nod your head up and down and say 'yes'. )

Would you say the prophecy and testimony of the Two Witnesses occurred before that time?

( Just nod your head up and down and say 'yes'. )

2 + 2 = 4

I forgot to mention , that WAR could be World War III, a fuel scale Nuclear War. The city of Jerusalem half them population goes into voluntary Exile. Most are killed, EXCEPT for the 144,000 sealed by the Holy Spirit, flews the to the East into Jordan after HIS feet touch down on the Mt. of Olives. He sends them out, through that Valley after the mountain splits to a place of safety. AND TURNS to the Valley of Megiddo to end ALL WHO ARE TRYING TO STOP HIS RETURN.

Rev. 14:20 – Then the press was trampled outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press up to the horses’ bridles for about 180 miles. (HCSB)

That is How many combatants on in that VALLEY that are killed instantly.

Zechariah 14:12 (HCSB)
12 This will be the plague the LORD strikes all the peoples with, who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

YES, I believe that all is to be interpreted LITERALLY.
1,600 furlongs is the linear distance between Bozrah/Petra and Jerusalem. That is the phenomenon that's taking place here.......Jesus wiping out the columns of armies coming to the refuge of Petra to destroy Israel.

Blood coming up to the horses bridles will occur in the wadis/gullies. Not necessarily everywhere in the fields.

I don't think too many people understand these matters. When you do it all makes perfect sense, And there is absolutely no need whatsoever for the ridiculous allegorization so heavily promoted by the addled Augustin-ites. And yes totally agree it is to be taken literally......(y)

OR they have been TAUGHT like I WAS, if you want to Teach the less educated, remember one THING:

"KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!" An elderly Pastor pulled me into his OFFICE on Sunday Morning, after seeing me witnessing on this
very subject, a couple days before, downtown. Those were his exact words, and he added, "You were going CLEAN OVER HIS HEAD."
I have NEVER forgot that eye-opening LESSON.
The problem is not so much that VCO. I know that in the first place many people here don't have a teachable mind so I personally am not expecting to educate anyone. The problem is that because no-one has a mind to learn, it is impossible for oneself to learn, if that makes sense.

My experience of everything in the Church in the real world is the polar opposite of what one experiences here .
Not that i expect people to bow down and scoop up my words like gold ducats, because how do i know that there aren't much more learned people here than I? No the problem is a lack of interaction. The sort of basic interaction that comes as a given in the church. A mutual respect and mutual understanding. The lack of something as basic as this means we all can't have a decent conversation on an equal footing. (I am not talking about people listening to me as if I a Teacher). All one gets is people talking their book like a gaggle of salesmen at a convention. Nobody is remotely interested in what anyone else says, they simply spend their time thumping the same ugly line they tattoed on their arm 10, 15 , 20 years ago, and which has now become as much a part of them as their body parts. It is almost as if to disown it would equate to an amputation.

"You're excused but have no excuse..."

( haha - ;) )

Revelation 6:16 is post Jesus-showing-up-at-His-Second-Coming.

He "administers" the Wrath.

Of course it's not referring to "the end of TIME" but of the "end" of what that context is speaking of.

And that cannot be in the "70ad events" because the events surrounding "70ad" brought about this (per Lk21:23,20,24):

--(a) "and they shall be led away captive into all the nations"; and...

--(b) "and Jerusalem [the city that the Dan9:24-27 prophecy is concerning] shall be TRODDEN DOWN of the Gentiles UNTIL..."

...and those parts (in the "70ad" section, in Lk21:12-24a) are SEQUENTIALLY PRIOR to what Dan9:27a/b/c goes ON to speak about... which verse (v.27) also speaks of "determined" issues (v.26)... Hope that makes sense. = )
Contorted confusing drivel.

The end here is the end of the 490 weeks

He is talking about the 'war' mentioned in Daniel 9:26 - which is referring to the 'war' after the seige circa 70 A.D.

The 70 weeks - or, 490 years - ended in 34 A.D.

Many people on here seem to prefer arguing over discussing. Therefore, most opportunities for any worthwhile conversation gets "shot down" before it can even get started good...

She is just confusing people. It is dead simple 70th week = 7 years of Roman War which obliterated the land and people of Israel
and the Temple system. So simple that no whackjob theologian can ever understand it. Matthew Henry (perhaps the most revered theologian of all) incidentally did understand it.

and the people of the prince that shall come (General Titus & Roman forces)
shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood,
(Proverbs 27:4 Anger is a flood - after 5 months of siege the Roman troops went bananas and burnt the Temple down contrary to Titus's orders)
and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
(Temple destroyed AD 70 but war raged another 2.5 years)
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: (the covenant here is God's Covenant - Deuteronomy 29 = Moabite Covenant)
and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (Temple destroyed AD 70)
and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, (Roman Zeus symbol on Ensign planted everywhere in Temple)
