If you believe it is relevant then reveal the answer and share your point.
I do believe that it is relevant and to answer my own question. God killed an animal and took its skin to cover there nakedness. They did nothing, but God provided a way. That is the cross or do you object?

Salvation is undeserved by the creation, but the Creator is Good and merciful.

The way provided is by Hearing and Keeping the Messiah's Testimony, His words give eternal life.

I read this to say claiming faith but not showing your faith in your actions is not truly faith..

For example I follow Christ. Now me saying that is great but by sitting at lunch with the girl no one will eat with at school and genuinely caring about her and loving her as Christ asks, I show my faith.

Maybe not the greatest example but that's what I'm reading in this... My faith would not mean anything if I mistreated that girl. Because at that point I'm saying I follow Christ but not acting so, it's just words.
"sitting at lunch with the girl no one will eat with at school and genuinely caring about her and loving her"

no i'm just a lost sheep that the Shepherd came to lead home.

John 6

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

i see no reason to mock people who Keep Sabbath out of love and Gratitude to Heavenly Father and Yahshua the Messiah.

Many will refer to the law of Moses to state people are breaking Sabbath and that they could not Keep it according to time zones and changes in days etc..

Honestly, it is a willing heart that pleases GOD most.

The Bible records different experiences encountered.

No what they did was keep the first command of Jesus Christ not the first command of the "cross"
"love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind body and soul"

Not the cross with all your heart
Furthermore you are preaching in a manner and with terminology that is inconsistent with Gods word.
You claim faith in the cross.
Im gonna put you to the test now if that's alright with you sir
.
If professing faith in anything other than the name of Jesus Christ I say its faith in the stone

Now, provide scripture to back what you preach...otherwise knock it off.

Why do you think God would command you to keep his commandment, if it couldn't be done? If you love me keep my commandments!

Kerry focus, please. We are discussing Sabbath and why we observe it on one day or another. This is directly referencing the Ten Commandments coupled with the clarifications given us by Jesus, Yeshua.

What was required of Adam in relation to our discussion has no bearing on it. It is just another fly away taking the focus off of what is being discussed.

The Father would like us to remember the Seventh Day. As for how Jews observe it, well you have to live in Israel headed by Yahweh in order to do it according to the Jews. We are allowed to do as we need do on any day, including the Sabbath if it is for good and not for evil. It does not get much plainer than that.

Again, others remember the Sabbath on the first day of the week, and as long as they feel right about that in the sight of God, Yahweh, they have no sin. For me, I prefer to do my observing of the Sabbath on the Day commemorating the day our FAther commanded us to remember. It would be an awful thing if the days of a thousand years were six days ahead of me rather than six days behind me.......I look forward to the return of our Lord, Yeshua. Surley He is returning soon, amen.

Tell me Jack what was required of Adam after the fall. Tell me please, anyone tell me please.

Salvation is not dependent on keeping the sabbath

Salvation is by God's Grace alone!

I keep the Sabbath because it pleases God!

Does your earthly fathers grace and forgiveness depend upon following his every command? I hope not. If not then why would your Heavenly Father who is perfect require you to obey for you to receive His grace and mercy?

Would God rather have you keep The Sabbath out of fear of losing salvation? Or would God be more pleased with you keeping the Sabbath out of love obedience and respect?

I do think it is a sin to not keep the Sabbath but salvation is by God's grace alone. Sin is what receive salvation from. So if sin prevented salvation, then salvation would not even exist
A 15 year old knows better. It's an honor to have you here.

The Sabbath was given to Adam and Eve and all mankind so that they would never sin, it is the power of God unto righteous living by an intimate relationship with God. Eve didnt listen. now that we are sinners it is critical to have the Sabbath to be sanctified (created new creature) Sabbath is central for new creatio n to have power over satan to beat all his temptations. Without it you are helpless to keep falling and falling and falling, hence the doctrines that man can never stop sinning
Well, man cannot ever keep the commandments or stop sinning without the Sabbath

the Sabbath is JESUS,He is the Sabbath hs is the Lord of the Sabbath it is the Jesus in you the hope of Glory in the Sabbath
keeping sunday was invented by satan in babylon at the tower of Babel so that man will have no power to be sanctified.
Most christians dont even know what being sanctified means and even proclaim sanctification is "works" They cannot be part of the 144,000

You will not make it throught the plagues the seven plages that HAVE STARTED ALREADY, you will not and cannot survive without the Sabbath
keeping sunday you will fail in resisting satan, and he knows it
144,000 will be sanctified, and the rest will die, that is about 6 billion

Sabbathkeepers will definitely be in the minority.
They will be one in a million
there are only one in a million that believe the Bible and follow every word any more
that be them
it is very easy if you keep Sabbath everyone could do it, all 6 billion
But the devil tricked tham and Revelation says:
The false antichrist decieved the WHOLE WORLD who wandered after the beast, vicarius Fillii Dei (Vicar of God which means "ME, INSTEAD OF CHRIST" the false chrst and the whole world wondered after the beast and did not keep the commandments of God

I am shocked that now, the Majority of christians now think keeping the commandments are self righteous works! this is insane. Every church used to teach keeping the commandments was essentil only 60 years ago when I was a boy
my, how the mighty have falen
this free gospel doctrine has destroyed the whole eorld

not killing someone somehow is eveil and working your way to heaven - insane.
not committing adultery is doing WORKS and you will burn! insane.
Not coveting means you are being self righteous - insane.
Honoring your parents and making no idols to worship makes you a bad guy totally insane
the christian world has gone insane.
but there are a few who believe the Bible
Refreshing to find one web site that actually believes the Bible
God bless you as you stand before the tide of evil, soon you too will be overwhelmed by the pagan false gospel on once saved always saved, right from the devil
this is crazy it did not exist 100 years ago.
The Sabbath is your guarantee of heaven, yet no one wants a personal relationship of love and obedience to God
sunday is in no way love and obedience to the Bible.

How does it pertain to my salvation?
Sabbath is my salvation!
Sabbath is JESUS in the heart it is our wedding day, it is the time we spend together, so go ahead an d kill me for wanting to be together with Jesus on the day he told me to be with him
everyone else can go into spiritual adultery but I will follow the word of God, Jesus my eternal crator
and, the reason I do not and will never keep sunday, is because I dont want to worship satan, he invented it in 321 AD by pagan constantine.

so that is why I keep the Sabbath it is the power of God unto salvation by the completion of christ in me the hope of glory
you cannot have a relationship that imparts power to overcome sins victoriously if you keep sunday and you will die. if yo have a good heart and the spirit is leading you, about one in a million, says revelation, you will read your Bible and follow Jesus, otherwise, you will take the RFID chip in the hand and the criteriaa will be
"Are you for Sabbath or Sunday?"
and you will have to decide.
You will have to decide
If you shoose sunday because of pressure from society, you will loose your soul eternally
the test is coming
Do you love Jesus more than everything? Than marry him and keep his day.
otherwise it doesnt matter what you do, he will say
depart from me ye workers of iniquity
The sabbath is the final test in Revelation over the mark of the beast
it is the final test, it is all or nothing it is the word of God there is no salvation without it since it will be the final test.
Bible says so
I reported you for propagating your Watchtower heresies.
Seriously, don't you guys have your own forums?

I voted. Guess I shouldn't have.

Would you explain this, for lack of a better term, "class" of
Christians you lump yourself in with called "Sabbath keepers"?
Christians who keep and do a physical 7th day Sabbath every week

Does your whole schedule revolve around this "keeping-of-the-Sabbath"?
Not sure exactly what you mean, here. I observe it every week, every Saturday.

What does one do, or refrain from doing, to properly "keep the Sabbath"?
Personally, what I don't do: I'm not working my normal job, I'm not doing housework or involved with my finances. I try as much as possible to refrain from "common" things, like TV, movies, etc.
What I do: pray over and bless my wife and kids every friday night. Go to church Saturday morning for 2 services with a community lunch in between which totals about 6-7 hours. Then fellowship with either family or friends the rest of the day.

And what is your belief concerning salvation, with regard to the "keeping-of-the-Sabbath"?
Just curious.
My keeping or not keeping the Sabbath doesn't affect my salvation at all. It's a matter of being obedient to what God places on my heart. He put the Sabbath on my heart to follow about 8 years ago, and I've tried to be as obedient to it as I can. I know, however, that when I fall short with my disobedience, I miss out on some blessings that would have come from being obedient. It's the same relationship with any area of spiritual discipline in our lives.

I also recognize that God hasn't laid this on everyone's heart, so that's why I don't judge. Do I think all Christians would be blessed by keeping a physical Sabbath unto God? Absolutely. But that's where I trust God to reveal what needs to be revealed in each person's life.

Blessings,
Matt

Sorry, I just saw this one.

Obeying is doing what our new nature dictates from our hearts, that is the commandments written there by the Holy Spirit.
When we know what the Father wants regarding our behavior in this world so full of darkness, we are only permitted by our own character to do as He wishes. I know by faith that even should I think a certain approach is wrong, if the Father says it is right, it is right. I trust Him.............not me, and not any flesh.

I hope this makes some sense for you.

What does "obeying" mean?
