The one she should not have,
If you read the text carefully....it suggests that Adam was using Eve as a guinea pig...seeing if she died after eating the fruit.

"First one died God...I need a new wife"

That's an interesting perspective.

It's interesting that perhaps Eve's relationship to Cain (now I have a man!) may be the lynch pin for the first murder. And just to be clear: Adam throwing Eve under the bus (the woman you gave me!) certainly contributed to her scorn.

To wit: the woman as enemy of God's chosen is a reoccurring theme of scripture right until the end.
Lol yeah the man said “ the woman you put here she did it “

“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me,

she gave me of the tree,

and I did eat.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the man says “ you gave her to me , she gave me the fruit , and I ate “ he forgets he was commanded and warned of certain Death if he ate the fruit He knew not to and did. It doesn’t matter why he still broke the command and now will surely die.

And the woman said “the serpent he beguiled me and I did eat” but leaves out the part of influencing Adam to also eat, when she spoke and he hearkened to her words and ate.

“And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the serpent , the woman and then the man so the curse comes to the serpent , the woman and then The man , but man is held accountable having received dominion and blessing now the curse is placed on Adam

“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;

in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

you see how Adam is held accountable ? For the cursing of the earth ? How before this he was blessed and commanded to be fruitful , and also to multiply through pro creation. Man was placed in Eden with the lord given freedom and dominion , all creatures would fear and dread mankind and mankind would rule in Gods Will and image life would reign through Christ

Now man is cast out of Eden from the presence of God , now the earth will produce thorns and thistles man will work and slave and toil away thier short lives until they die.

Later in scripture we find also the beasts of the earth would now cause man fear and dread and devour many, and the insects the creeping things would now destroy crops and spread disease and pestilence whereas before sin

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat

. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27

Mans curse turned everything upside down from the blessing. Man would later suffer famines and pestilences and diseases and wars. They would be killed by one another and by the beasts they were created to rule. The earth wouldnt produce enough food it would require hard labor and toil and end when man returned to the dust ( a result of the curse for sin , not the blessing of life before )

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-6, 11-13‬ ‭

Man was corrupted by Satan and filled the earth with all that wicked corrupt imagination and works and ways. Notice how it was corrupted after God created everything “ very good “ . First mans mknd and heart , and the earth thier kingdom was filled with all that inner corruption through imagining sin and sinning and inventing more ways to sin

We essentially ruined the earth which God gave To us in genesis one
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

rejecting what God said about the forbidden knowledge and accepting what Satan said about the same thing we followed a lie to death and now through the gospel and the lord Jesus can choose to believe and follow the truth to redemption of life and relationship with God

No that's ridiculous. She knew good and evil, he did not know good and evil. He did not even know that she was obeying the Devil when she gave it to him. She just gave it to him and he just ate it. Then he found out about shame and fear and knew he was naked.

Some one needs to rethink that thought. They were one flesh
That is some light on the issue.

Adam was also responsible for keeping his wife from deception. His first error was not intervening when the serpent approached her.

"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.
In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. Indeed, no one ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church. For we are members of His body."

This is why Paul addresses Eve being deceived in 1 Timothy 2:11-15: not as a strike against Eve but against Adam who was responsible for her care. Paul is speaking about the restoration of order among the husbands and wives.

Why don't you go back and reread that section but this time diagram every sentence out of several literal word-for-word translations and get back to me when you really know what it says and stop going beyond what is written.

One thing to note, though, is we do not know the origin of what Eve conveyed to the
serpent about what God had said regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
yeah the command is there though eve knew the fruit was totally off limits is the thing I perceive. As Gods command is always delivering a message it was in This case

“ all things are yours , have the earth and everything in it be fruitful and multiply live and dwell in peace but whatever you do stay away from this poisonous knowledge it’s deadly for you

satans lie was that “ no the fruit is not deadly for you God knows it will make you as gods and wise to know good and evil “

eve knew the word of god either way touching it has no consequence but if your tempted and about to eat it , your going to have to touch it first. Most likely Adam or the lord either way told her “don’t even touch it” because again hats just adding to the temptation of what you do just before you intend to eat it

the idea in my own personal view ( that’s all it is ) is that eve knew what God had said and Satan told her a lie about the same subject d led her thinking astray

see her mind change by the word she hears and accepts

the right mind of life created by the commandment

“And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

( changing of the mind from forbidden fruit to fruit desirable to Make them wise and safe to eat )

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:2-6‬ ‭

the only thing holding her back was the commandment Satan stole from her mind replacing it with a lie

“ don’t do it you will surely die “

“ you will not surely die , it will
Make you wise “

The first would have always kept them safe , the second would always lead to the forbidden fruit one is truth and life , the other is lie and certain death

I have read Genesis 3 many times. Adam did not use Eve as a guinea pig, Satan did, and then she killed Adam and the whole world taking them with her and her pet dragon.

Nope...now you are telling stories.

Diagram each sentence out of a true word-for-word translation.

Then get back to me.

It's pointless to have a battle of wits when someone comes unarmed to the battle.

Okay

Here is the old serpent and the first lie.
Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Woman correctly repeats back the truth.
Genesis 3:2-3
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

The serpent then casts the second and third lie.
Genesis 3:4-5
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Then we see her mind is bent, she is believing the three lies which the serpent cast into her, so she is obeying Satan, she is literally serving him, and she eats the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. She then commits the next evil action and gives it to man, she's still serving the Devil to make them all die, and he simply eats no questions asked, nothing said he just eats what she gives him.

Genesis 3:6
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

some folks just dont like the female side of God's creation.
Adam was a big boy he could have said no . he chose to eat the whatever fruit. His sin is on him. The husband should have been the covering for the wife . Her sin is on her. Their sin is on them.

the majority opinion and teaching of the modern church is undoubtedly that Adam was absolutely antichrist, accusing God of wickedness, blaming God for causing him to sin, blaming his wife for causing him to sin - calling them both evil and accepting no responsibility for his own actions. exactly the things Satan does.

however

the facts are that God accepted Adam's confession, shed innocent blood to cover him, clothed him with robes made by God's own hand, did not curse him ((as He cursed the Serpent)) but instead cursed the ground "for your sake" -- then posted powerful angels to keep the way to the tree of life.

God does not do these things for a blasphemer.
God does not do these things for Satan.
God does not do these things for antichrist.
God does these things for someone who confesses their sin, repents and believes.

so IMO the overwhelming majority view cannot possibly be correct and in fact borders on heresy.

God tells us why Adam did what he did: "he listened to the voice of his wife"
and Adam was not deceived, so whatever Woman's voice said to him was not a lie.
we're supposed to figure out what she said.
what are your guesses? what did Adam's dying wife say to her husband that persuaded him to choose death alongside her, without telling him anything untrue?

The Romantic explanation is baloney. Absolute garbage.
Man sinned because believed the lie
your view is a direct contradiction of 1 Timothy 2:14

therefore your view is absolute garbage. i recommend, discard it.

Ive ponder this story of our first parents for many yrs. My conclusion.....

for in that day you shall surely die.
Adam saw no evidence of death...his wife encouraging him and he ate. Did adam know what death even was?
Adam had more faith in what he saw as in what he was told by the Lord.
We still are challenged with this even today. Throughout scripture and in our lives today we have many goliaths that cause us to make wrong choices. Our eyes deceive us as they are the window of our heart.that is why we need a new heart.
Faith comes by hearing GODs word it is the evidence of things not seen.
Faith in God is to trust God even though you dont understand. Even though you can't see how.

satans lie was that “ no the fruit is not deadly for you God knows it will make you as gods and wise to know good and evil “
Even God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil."

The lie was, “You will not surely die." It is being told to this day.

if it is evil not to intervene and control one's beloved, why do Christians still stumble and sin?

Even God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil."
not when they confessed eating, tho - and not of both of them but of Adam, specifically when Adam changed his wife's name to Eve, 'mother of those who live'

I do not understand your point. God said the man had become like Him to know good and evil,
so that was not the lie the serpent told. The lie was telling Eve they would not surely die.

Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

That is not a lie.

Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it

Where did this you shall not touch it originate?
There is no record of God having said it.

The serpent then casts the second and third lie.
Genesis 3:4-5
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

That was the lie. Not the second and third lie.

That's a lot of conjecture that strays from what the text specifically says.
