Saint... Spiritually pure morally blameless. Most holy ONE...
To be spiritually pure is already without sin. morally blameless, means a perfect moral standard.. God's standard... So the word Saint...Hagios in greek, means it is already a person that STOPPED SINNING! So if you ask a saint ... Do you still sin he has to lie to say Yes, And if He says NO you guys will crucify him calling him a lier, so what chance does a sinless person have here with you? NONE... but then what does it matter, we are just glad you are not the judges, becasue your judgement is not His!
Now a Saint is already a sinless man, and how can a sinner teach a sinless man to be perfect? That means these people appointed by God is perfect!...
Ephesians 4:11 to 13.... And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Strange we pray the Lord's prayer and we mean it... We ask deliver us from EVIL and if God hears and answers then God does that, and then we CANNOT SIN AGAIN.. because GOD KNOWS TO DELIVER HIS CHILDREN FROM EVIL AND THE WICKET ONE CANNOT INFLUENCE ANY MORE!...

The differance is also... Jesus prayed for me in this.... I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
I know SOON all these people you like to lable here will be made ONE with Jesus, and they will be AS PERFECT as Him right here on earth.. Becasue as God is we will be like HIM in this World!

Can people become sinless or not. What does refrain from sin mean?

(1 John 3:9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
But you say they can sin, as in one sin?
So can one born of God sin or not?

Easy Strange Jesus just showed you in John 17.... HE IS IN US that is what KEEPS Him perfect... You are not yourself anymore when you are IN CHRIST becasue you DIED!!! When you die, you are DEAD! And Jesus said ... For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Lose your sinful life by STOP SINNING and you will save in a HOLY PERFECT LIFE THAT LASTS EVERLASTING LIFE... The flesh might go to sleep, but the soul and spirit, is you...The flesh is just a vessel...
