Amen, either we are crucifying the flesh, aiming to be like Christ, or we are justifying our sin. Cant do both at the same time. Too, many here justify their sin, instead and diligently pursuing Christ.

where the heresy comes in is when this is said to be speaking of how one gets saved. and not how one acts after they have been saved.

Dude, you just proved you do not know us at all. Heaven is not a pipe dream we MAY get to. heaven is a reality we WILL get to. Not of our own deeds which we have or will do. But through the grace of God. He saved us by the washing of regeneration ond renewal of the HS.

We have a hope. That hope is eternal life, Which God, WHO CAN NOT LIE, Promised before time began.

if there is no heaven, If we do not have eternal life like God promised. we have no hope.

I have been sick for over a week. I will never be sick in heaven.

People are struggling financially because of the economy. In heaven, there will be no finances to worry about.

People deal with evil every day. In heaven, there will be no evil, there will be no sin.

I will place my faith in Christ knowing the tribulation I have hear on earth is but a momentary affliction. Knowing my life here on earth is but mere seconds when it will be compaired to eternity I will have with my Lord.

And your hope for glory is for some future event, my hope of glory is Christ in me. And eternal life is Christ in you. YOU being that person of Christ, anointed of Gods Spirit. Christ simply means to be anointed of God, CHRIST IN YOU.
And people like me do not place their hope in deeds, we are like Him in every way, one with Him, same mind, same Spirit. You are looking at deeds to get you to heaven, that aint gonna happen.
And what has your flesh body being sick have to do with Christ be in you, what has fl;esh have to do with Spirit other than the house of God? And what has people dealing with financial problems, or evil have to do with Christ be in you? It is a no brainer, in Christ these things has no power at al;l, if they have power over you then you need to meet the one where these things do not exist.
And if you place your trust in Christ as you say then these other things of this world wouldn’t be an issue for you. We in Christ are no t of this world we are of His Spirit where these things has no presence.

My comment was about heaven on earth. In heaven there will be non of these things. that is our HOPE

Now to me this is a awesome simile of the Body of Christ, his wife. Washing His feet, so how much more should we wash each other's feet.
