The full reunion only happens when Jesus returns, then we will be like Him.
Christ is knocking at your door this day wanting to come to you and make His abode in you. It isn’t a matter of waiting for Christ to return it is a matter of accepting Him in your being. You can wait until you are dead in a grave and never see the Christ formed in you. You can be like Him today if you will accept Him. Behold the kingdom of God is within you just as Jesus said it is. Luke 17:21

Dont tell me whats going on in my walk, you dont know anything about me and you dont know your scripture either.

The kingdom is not within us.

It is in THE MIDST of us.

We will be like Him when He returns.

If you think you can be glorified and sinless in deed and act and thought then you go for it bud. Get to heaven on your works...G'luck.....you don't need a saviour.

This is why Jesus had to come to deliver us from our sin. Are you saying He failed, and we are still in bondage?

God promises us through His word that we can defeat sin, if we look closely at the word of God. There are many many promises that deal with that fact.

We are told that "in every temptation, God will make a way of escape that we will be able to bear it".

God said "sin shall not have dominion over you".

I literally can list twenty more...reckon yourself dead unto sin and alive unto God

''praise be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus,

lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil'' and so forth.

I firmly believe we have mistakenly missed why he has saved us (to set us free) "You shall call His name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins" (now, in this life) to preserve us blameless unto the coming of the Lord. In the Bible, we are told "He that commits sin is the servant of sin, and the servant abides not in the house forever. But whom the Son sets free is free indeed."

We are told by Jesus Himself "Without me, you can do nothing." yet in the writings of Paul we are told "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.". Is this perhaps what Jesus meant when he expressed his deep concern that "when the Son of man returns, will he find faith on the earth?" Do we believe (have faith in) these promises of God for our lives?

“And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’” (Luke 18:13)

It is a humble attitude in regards to our human condition that brings us to the foot of the cross. And after we have been there by the grace of God, we will not continue in our sin over and over again ...... like we once did. But as long as we have our fleshly bodies, we will still sometimes fall short ..... or sin (let's call it what it is). "The wages of sin is death", .....both physically and spiritually. If it were possible to attain sinlessness in our flesh, our bodies would not die ..... for there is no cause for death where there is no sin. The truth of the matter is this ..... The closer we grow to our Holy God, the more we see and bemoan the filthy rags that we are in our flesh.

Doesn't mean to willfully sin and just claim grace, we still have a choice to follow on the straight and narrow or take the wide short crooked path, says make crooked paths straight lolz
I just stress this point so no one gets confused and think it's ok to sin anyway,

If we are not grieved when we sin, then we don't have God's Spirit indwelling us :)

Romans 8:16
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

I hate my sin. I desperately WANT to be perfectly sinless in deed and act.

I just know it cannot happen on this earth.

Why dont you try reading your own scripturre?
I think it is you who cannot read. We shall be like Him as in a resurrected immortal Heavenly body. However all who has that particular hope will purify themselves.

By your persistence defense of your sin, I know you do not hate sin, and have absolutely no desire to be sinless.

I just know it cannot happen on this earth.
Because your flesh is stronger than God?????????

Continuing in sin is false humity, and claiming God cannot free you of your sin is borderline blasphemy.

Let me repeat myself:

lil_christian said:
Ok, how many of us were born of a virgin?? Ummm no one but Jesus. How many of us were perfect from life till death? Once again, no one but Jesus. Who rose again after they died?? Jesus! So we can't walk the way Jesus walked, because He was not just a regular person. He was the only person to be one with God. And that's how it should be. Or else the trinity would be the Father, the Son and His followers, and the Holy spirit. Ummm sorry no. Doesn't work that way

Actually, the kingdom of God does not come with observation as you are seeking; it is within you, Christ in you. If you do not believe him then that is your own understanding, not His. And yes I know you very well, you have told us who you are, it comes out from you just as I have told you who I am.
You are seeking Christ to return and we in Christ He has come. It isn’t a matter if He will or wont, it is a matter of you receiving His coming and it is that which you have made your way better than His way. His way is He will come to you, make His abode in you, sup with you and be one with Him, He in you and you in Him as one. Your doctrine is He is not come, His doctrine is He is waiting on you to receive His coming. The way of God is Christ in you same as He was in Jesus, John 17.
And works has nothing to do with Christ be in you, if ones deed is in Christ he cannot fail, the only way you fail in deed is if you are without the Christ. If you cant comprehend that then I would take a second look at what it is to be righteous!
And it isn’t a matter of getting to heaven it is a matter of heaven being opened to you just as it was opened in Jesus in Matt 3:16. For you heaven is a pipe dream and a place you may or may not get to someday instead of walking in it today. It really does not come with observation and it really is within you just as Jesus said it is in Luke 17:20-21. By the way, midst, mid, in the middle, in the middle of YOU. Seek His kingdom instead of your own and you just might see that heaven is not what you thought it to be. You are it my friend.
And as for you putting words in my mouth -- I do not think I can be glorified by deed -- works -- I know I cant, The only way I am glorified is Christ in me, walk as He walks, have the same Spirit in me who was in Christ Jesus, have the mind of Christ, be anointed of Gods Spirit, He in me and In Him as one, pick up that cross and continue where he left off. In Him is no sin at all, it is outside Him that YOU are a sinner.
Knowing these things? … well… lets just say it takes a little more than saying you are Christian. A Christian is Christlike, has what Jesus had.
Gosh, I wonder what Jesus would have said if he really wanted us to have what he had and be like Him?

Clueless you are. Absolutely clueless. The woman caught in adultery ......... here you are 4runner ....... is this stone big enough for you ? Thankfully for her, you and your ilk were stifled by Christ's presence.

Btw, the only way we will be "sinless" in God's eyes is only if we repent daily. one of those things ya gotta do. I mean, there IS no excuse. You gotta repent sooner or later. We are so UNpure, and God is so PURE...we will never be sinless or perfect. Just because Jesus was human, doesn't mean that being sinless is possible. Seriously. The point "If Jesus could do it then I can do it." is out the door. Have YOU been sinless since birth? No. Jesus is so high above us...we could never live up to be as perfect as He is. And that's why we need a Savior. Not to be sinless, but to be saved from condemnation. Thank you for your time.

For you heaven is a pipe dream and a place you may or may not get to someday

Dude, you just proved you do not know us at all. Heaven is not a pipe dream we MAY get to. heaven is a reality we WILL get to. Not of our own deeds which we have or will do. But through the grace of God. He saved us by the washing of regeneration ond renewal of the HS.

We have a hope. That hope is eternal life, Which God, WHO CAN NOT LIE, Promised before time began.

if there is no heaven, If we do not have eternal life like God promised. we have no hope.

people like you have a hope that is placed in your deeds. If you fall. Your hope fades. I find it interesting you say we have a pipe dream, and think we may or may not enter. When in fact it is the opposite.

Heaven here?

I have been sick for over a week. I will never be sick in heaven.

People are struggling financially because of the economy. In heaven, there will be no finances to worry about.

People deal with evil every day. In heaven, there will be no evil, there will be no sin.

You can have your heaven here. and pray you make it to the real heaven.

I will place my faith in Christ knowing the tribulation I have hear on earth is but a momentary affliction. Knowing my life here on earth is but mere seconds when it will be compaired to eternity I will have with my Lord.

Debate? You are or you are not like Him. The only debate here is you and Him. You are or you are not like Him.
Amen, either we are crucifying the flesh, aiming to be like Christ, or we are justifying our sin. Cant do both at the same time. Too, many here justify their sin, instead and diligently pursuing Christ.

Romans 12
1 I plead to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that all of you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be all of you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that all of you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
