Continiuing in sin as some type of false humility of never obtaining sinlessness, and sinning once and repenting is not the same thing or eve sinning 100 times and repenting. If one continues in sin they will perish, that doesnt negate forgiveness. The problem is not that I am double minded. The problem is you do not know the word or the gospel.

You keep working towards "obtaining" your sinlessness. I'll keep trusting for my salvation thru Christ's finished work on the cross. "Sinning only once" still won't cut the mustard bubba. Not without repentance and Christ's saving grace, it won't. It's awesome to have Christ as our advocate with the Father though, isn't it ? The entirety of the rest of your assumptions in regards to who has repented and who hasn't ....... reeks of judgement and self-righteousness. But carry on :)

lil you asked: But the real question is: Where does it say we need to be 100% sinless in order to be saved?
lil God says... And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Now I ask what is a righteous man... then God says... If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

And we know that the Born of God CANNOT sin ...1 John 3:9... So the people that CANNOT SIN SCARCELY are saved... That means EXACTLY ... Only the NON-SINNERS are scarcely saved... SINNERS HAS NO CHANCE!

lil check out this verse... I think this verse says it ALL... Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

I went fishin today and I am ten pages behind... the sea was BIG and beautiful some fish were caught, but it was a fantastic day... May the Lord Chrsit Jesus, be the ONE SPIRIT IS ALL OF US...

Look what God says here... There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Now one question... IF GOD WAS IN US ALL DO YOU THINK WE WILL HAVE ONE DIFFERENT VIEW THAN THE OTHER? I believe NOT... ONE FAITH MEANS ONE FAITH!!! ANd INE Spirit can only have ONE MIND!

Have a Godly Life, I am out, to spnd time in heaven, with a holy family, n a Godly house. May Chrsit Jesus be the ONE IN YOU! AMEN!

So.... just wondering...

Have you guys realized that you can't change the mind of someone who is already set in their ways? *lol*

Arguing is pointless. Especially if you really don't know the person.

In order to change people's minds there usually has to be a certain level of mutual respect going on. The other person must feel that you have their best intentions at heart and would never lead them astray. How many of you are going to take serious advice from someone when you have clue who they are or what they are like?

At this point, it's kinda' obvious why you all are still participating in this conversation.

Shame on you! *lol* j/k

Although, I can't blame lil-christian. She only 14. What 14 year old doesn't love a good 'debate' (yeah that's the word)? *lol*

Very true, it does say that. I say those who are in Christ are made righteous... If you claim to be saved, yet make no attempt to change the way you live, then you are ungodly and/or a sinner.

Who all knows what it means to be born of God?

Ok, so I get how "Whoever abideth in him...." could be relevant...but I don't get how Ephesians 4:4-6 is.

I think it is you who cannot read. We shall be like Him as in a resurrected immortal Heavenly body. However all who has that particular hope will purify themselves.
Purifieth himself from all but ACCIDENTAL SIN right 4runner?

By your persistence defense of your sin, I know you do not hate sin, and have absolutely no desire to be sinless.
According to you I am sinless cuz I only commit MISTAKES.

Because your flesh is stronger than God?????????
God made me with the battle happening of flesh and Spirit.

He's in control.

Continuing in sin is false humity, and claiming God cannot free you of your sin is borderline blasphemy.
But if we are only making mistakes (accidental sin) then we are ok right?

Actually, the kingdom of God does not come with observation as you are seeking; it is within you, Christ in you. If you do not believe him then that is your own understanding, not His. And yes I know you very well, you have told us who you are, it comes out from you just as I have told you who I am.
You are seeking Christ to return and we in Christ He has come. It isn’t a matter if He will or wont, it is a matter of you receiving His coming and it is that which you have made your way better than His way. His way is He will come to you, make His abode in you, sup with you and be one with Him, He in you and you in Him as one. Your doctrine is He is not come, His doctrine is He is waiting on you to receive His coming. The way of God is Christ in you same as He was in Jesus, John 17.
And works has nothing to do with Christ be in you, if ones deed is in Christ he cannot fail, the only way you fail in deed is if you are without the Christ. If you cant comprehend that then I would take a second look at what it is to be righteous!
And it isn’t a matter of getting to heaven it is a matter of heaven being opened to you just as it was opened in Jesus in Matt 3:16. For you heaven is a pipe dream and a place you may or may not get to someday instead of walking in it today. It really does not come with observation and it really is within you just as Jesus said it is in Luke 17:20-21. By the way, midst, mid, in the middle, in the middle of YOU. Seek His kingdom instead of your own and you just might see that heaven is not what you thought it to be. You are it my friend.
And as for you putting words in my mouth -- I do not think I can be glorified by deed -- works -- I know I cant, The only way I am glorified is Christ in me, walk as He walks, have the same Spirit in me who was in Christ Jesus, have the mind of Christ, be anointed of Gods Spirit, He in me and In Him as one, pick up that cross and continue where he left off. In Him is no sin at all, it is outside Him that YOU are a sinner.
Knowing these things? … well… lets just say it takes a little more than saying you are Christian. A Christian is Christlike, has what Jesus had.
Gosh, I wonder what Jesus would have said if he really wanted us to have what he had and be like Him?
All your assumptions are wrong.

I live in Christs Kingdom NOW. I'm not looking for it to come at all. I'm only waiting for the second advent and JUDGEMENT.

But I'm willing to bet YOU are waiting for a future kingdom on earth?

Am I right?

Debate? You are or you are not like Him. The only debate here is you and Him. You are or you are not like Him.
(1 John 3:2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

When will we be like Him?

Amen, either we are crucifying the flesh, aiming to be like Christ, or we are justifying our sin. Cant do both at the same time. Too, many here justify their sin, instead and diligently pursuing Christ.
But you justify your accidental sin right?

Coz they are just MISTAKES!

Lolz...PHARISEE much?

lil, shroom is right it doesnt. You do not understand me at all. I am not saying we must live our entire live without sin, I am saying we are able to by the ability given to us by the indwelling Spirit of God.
Contradictamundo!
