Hi,
There is no place in the Bible nor did Jesus teach a person can not be saved without being baptized.
In fact, Jesus proved baptism isn't required when Jesus told the one on the cross, "This day you will
be with me in glory." This person was not baptized. Either Jesus is a liar or you have misunderstood.
No offense intended to you but I'm going to go with Jesus on this one.
Baptism has never saved anyone and it never will. If it did, we have no need for Christ and His death
was in vain.
In order for a person to be saved, the Bible lays out a specific course of events.
The hearing of God's Word. Conviction due to the sins we have committed. Asking Christ to forgive
our sin. State we believe through Christ's death on the cross, His resurrection from death and in
His power and mercy, we ask Christ to remove our sins, cleanse us and devote our life to Him.
Once these steps have been accomplished, if you wish to, you can be baptized which provides
you a starting point in Christ by symbolizing the death of your sinful life and the beginning of
your new life in Christ. Baptism also stands as a public profession of your faith in Christ.
Baptism is an outward expression of our faith in Christ and not an inward ritual we must
follow.
Jesus condemned all those placing the rituals of The Law on the shoulders of Christ's Forgiven.
Christ is the only one we follow and in Him is total freedom. There are no rituals to follow.
Christ's teachings state that as a new being in Christ, you will follow His teachings, precepts
and seek His guidance in all you do.

To be baptized with water is a commandment.
JESUS SAID "he that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved (Mark 16:16)
PETER SAID "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38)
"The very word baptize, however, signifies immerse; and it is certain that immersion was the practice of the ancient church." (Institutes,IV, xv: 19.)

Baptism by immersion is not a Christian invention it stems right back to Moses.
They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 1 Corinthians 10:1-3
Jesus knew this. Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. Matthew 3:12-14
For Christ died for sins once for all, ... few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also, not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 3:18.

So, is the mark of the beast is 666...not a cross. The cross is a sign of salvation, so I don't understand what all the antagonism towards it is.

The sign of the cross is an affirmation of the triune God: "In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." The Trinity isn't evil.
St Francis is said to have heard the voice of God whilst meditating upon the crucifixion of Our Lord while gazing upon a Greek crucifix. Lot's of non-Catholics also believe God has spoken to them. Just because the beast has some weird talking statue, it doesn't mean God can't communicate to Christians when they are in proximity to one.
Pont.Max. is an abbreviation for Pontificus Maximus. The numerological value here is: I + I + V +X + I + V = XXIII, or 23. Not 666. Way off. Unless there is some new way to make numerology work out to rig it to come out to 666 that I am unaware of.
The Seven Hills of Rome are: Aventine, Caelian, Esquiline, Quirinal, Palatine, Capitoline, and Viminal. The Vatican is not one of the 7 Hills that Rome was founded upon.
The pope has been "in charge" of rome for way longer than 1260 years, if by Rome we mean the Vatican. The Papal states weren't in power for but like, oh,
1100 years. Besides 1260 days and 1260 years are not the same measures of time.

But as a christian we are supposed to be able to know that they are the anti christ, is this a gut feeling? idk BUT i can safely say I do not feel that the Pope is the Anti Christ.

Many antichrists were revealed..... and THE antichrist, or if you want to call it correctly because the word antichrist is not even found in the book of Revelation, HAS BEEN REVEALED... some almost 2,000 years ago.
