Wow, So according to you the bible is a farse and totally worthless? Because if there is one error. non of it can be trusted.

Thanks. I believe scripture when it says ALL of it is inspired by God. Yes paul was speaking as a man. But he wrote what God told him to write. We can trust this because God said so. Paul did not make a mistake. can you show where one of his passages is in error? I would love to see it.
I really don't see how you missed what I wrote. Paul did not glorify himself except as the chief of sinners, so yes, indeed Paul made many errors, as all men do.

I can see the working of faith in Paul, as that same working happens in us also. It is like I am walking the same road he walked. And when I read those words I hear the same Spirit, as that same Spirit is working in me. Paul was anointed in his office. And I know this as the Spirit bears witness with my spirit.

So we can even determine the Spirit behind any man ever in the bible, whether they were speaking of their own at a time or after the Spirit. The only person to walk this earth entirely in the Spirit of God at ALL times was Jesus Christ. The only other I would even compare is John the Baptist, but he still falls short.

Now we see that the trying of the Spirits applies to every man, even those in the bible.

My friend, the signs that follow is not only to apostles but to ALL who believe. I see now you have no faith and maybe that is what is missing in your life. But those who believe do see the wonders of God. This is sad. You limit the Power of God to your own ideas. Jesus could do no wonders among his own people because of their unbelief.

ya.
we "put God in a box"; "have no faith"; "limit the power of God" etc.

since you said the SIGNS described in scripture that would follow the Apostles will follow ALL who have faith (i assume that means YOU):

- how many dead people have you raised?
- how many of your tormentors have you caused to become blind, covered by a sudden and unexplainable MIST?
- how many people get healed by your shadow as you pass by?
- when were you last bitten by a taipan and nothing happened?
- when did you last preach all night then raise a man to life who fell off the windowsill to his death?
- when was the last time you pronounced that a husband and wife who lied to the Holy Spirit would keel over dead one after the other?
- how many gentile languages can you speak having never been to school to learn?

this is a RIDICULOUS and tiresome DOWNGRADE of the Acts of The Apostles.
it seems to really lead one into a delusional state.

As it stands none of this is in my power. As it is the Lord God who has all power to do these things. I cannot force them. One thing is sure, Jesus Christ can do NO wonders where their is doubt and unbelief.

May Jesus bless you.

I want to tell you about this witness

When I read some words of many of the Patriarchs the Spirit shows me their error.

When I read Paul wrote something, I got checked and I knew Paul was speaking in the flesh, and not in the Spirit at a certain time, and it was confirmed when I read the next sentence in which he said he was speaking as a man.

Also, when I read about David, I knew when he was not in the Spirit, and in the flesh, because I was checked in my spirit by the Spirit of God in one of his cases. It is this same witness that witnessed through the prophets and that witnesses through the scriptures, but many people cannot hear this witness
ok.
WELCOME TO THE FRUIT OF EXPERIENTIAL NEO-ORTHODOXY.

NO THANKS.

Yes my friend, indeed the men who spoke in the scriptures had the witness of the Spirit. As those who are saved have the same witness, and thereby can validate the witness in those who spoke.

This is very central, because without the witness of the Spirit ourselves we could not bear witness of the Truth.

I want to tell you about this witness.

It is this same witness that witnessed through the prophets and that witnesses through the scriptures, but many people cannot hear this witness.

So when I say that Life is not in the bible, it is in Jesus Christ, we should be able to hear this witness.

May Jesus bless you.
aaahh the Bible is not Life but Ramon. the Bible shows us how humans have related to God throughout time. God has inspired the writers to show their flaws so His Grace and love may abound. He shows us how His love is wonderful and surpasses all things. I don't understand what the issue is. 1. both love the Holy Spirit 2. both respect the Bible. 3. both Holy Spirit and Scripture is needed to grow in Christ in understanding and knowledge 4. why do you think God gave us both?

Why do people shy from giving scripture?

Romans 3
4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:

“ That You may be justified in Your words,
And may overcome when You are judged.”[a]

5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.) 6 Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?

Yes indeed. And many times he spoke after the flesh. In the case where he gave commandments as authority in his office that were not given to him. But for edification he was justified in it.

Again, Paul had error in his speeches too, but I could see the working of faith in them. But the error is not something that could condemn him, as the grace of God is greater than this. So he is established anyhow.

Why do people shy from giving scripture?

because it contradicts the god they have created in their own image, and in some cases (not referring to you ramon or necto - i think you're both just confused), reveals that they are LIARS. they don't want us checking them or their "words" and "prophecies" too closely.

Yes Amen. I love that you give. ''That you may be justified in your words, and may overcome when you are judged''
This is exactly it.

God did give us scriptures indeed. However, a relationship with God cannot be minimized by scripture. God is not contained in text. He is above all through all, in all. HE IS ALIVE!!

May Jesus bless you.

Yes, people in the bible were subject to error just as you and I, but they are no less justified, as justification is not by perfection of words, but of the perfection that comes about through faith of Jesus Christ.

May Jesus bless you.

sorry Jesus can do wonders despite the doubt and unbelief if He so choses. What do you think everyone was feeling when He was cruxified, when all the sheep scattered, when most were in despair and no one understand He would be ressurrected until the miracle already happened?

I am reminded of this great words from Christ.

Matt 16: 4 4 A
wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas

We live in that wicked and aduterous generation.

Then again. I forgot. scripture is not Gods word. so we should not heed its warnings. Right??

It is the Lord who performs miracles and signs. I can do nothing without his Power. All the Power, honor, and glory is the Lord's. I have seen people healed by the hearing of faith, but it was they who had faith to be healed. It is the Power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that brought in the faith so that the people were healed. I had nothing to do with it. So I utterly reject your vicious attack.

May Jesus bless you.

exactly! If we do not have Gods word to hold onto we are left with nothing.

We might as well be pagans, we would be no better off.
