We are born with free choice or free will. This is our Adamic nature and sooner or later we will exercise our free-will as Adam and Eve did in the garden. Before Adam and Eve exercised their free-will the were sinless and if they are a 'type' of us, then so are we. We need to sin before we are sinners, and we are judged on our sins and not the sins of Adam and Eve.
1 Cor 15:22, For as in Adam all die, even so, in Christ shall all be made alive. All mankind die a spiritual death and that is our state when we are born into this world in our natural birth.

James 4:17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
When a child becomes spiritually aware of God's commands as regard right from wrong. Each person is different in their degree of maturation so the bible cannot have a set age for that age of accountability. However, it does carry numerous verses concerning accountability.
Romans 8:7
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

This might help new parents or parents generally.
Truth For Kids Age of accountability in the Bible
Rom 8:7 says the same thing as 1 Cor 2:14, For the natural man (what we are when we are born naturally) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; For they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. We stay in that state until we are regenerated, see Eph 2.

This verse contradicts your claim. Either you are correct or scripture is correct. Both claims cannot be correct.

Matthew 18:3
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Why would Jesus state this if children are born sinners? I am asking you, does this make any sense at all?
Little children are dependent upon their parents, as we should be dependent upon God.

What does that mean to the question, at what age are children accountable for their actions? Sins?

The non-elect are not accountable for their actions until the last day judgement.(Ps 73). The elect become accountable for their actions when they are regenerated(Eph 2:5).

I would think being designated as a sinner is a designate that imparts accountability. If the un-saved die in their sins they're accountable for their sins.
While the regenerated Christian in the grace of God is accountable for the fruits they produced in service to God while in his grace. The accountability for sin being washed away at the time of regeneration.

This should get some interesting responses. If children are born saved, when did we loose our salvation and need to be saved again?
Would not the question be better phrased as are children born lost?
Saved implies guilt an I think you are asking if we are born guilty or not .
I do have a stance concerning original sin but your question can almost be taken two ways .
One that they are guilty but are saved until they are accountable or that they are sinless.
If you follow what I mean .

The sins of God's elect were paid for in full by Christ's faithfulness to be a sacrifice for their sins, however, when we are regenerated we still have the baggage of our fleshly nature within us as explained by Paul's battle with his fleshly nature. Because of Christ's sacrifice, God looks upon those that he died for as holy and without blame as far as their eternal destination is concerned.

Ok some verses for you this one speaks of Jesus but even
Jesus who was fully God and fully man, had the capacity to
sin. But He remained sinless by His own free will. But even
baby Jesus had a time as a baby when He was unable to
choose the good. That was ok though as He was not held
accountable until the age of His accountability.

Isaiah 7:14-16 NKJV
[14] Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the
virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name
Immanuel. [15] Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may
know to refuse the evil and choose the good. [16] For before
the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good,
the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.

Here God did not curse the young children with the curse of
not entering the promised land like the adults. Why? Because
they had no knowledge of good or evil just like Adam and Eve
before the fall.

Deuteronomy 1:39 NKJV
[39] 'Moreover your little ones and your children, who you say
will be victims, who today have no knowledge of good and evil,
they shall go in there; to them I will give it, and they shall possess it.

Yes we are all born into sin but I believe the saving grace of
Jesus extends to those who have no knowledge of good or evil.
It’s all still a work of Jesus. But He does not condemn those who are
innocent due to having no knowledge.

In these verses David knows he will see his son again in
the next life. So he no longer mourns when his son dies.

2 Samuel 12:23 NKJV
[23] But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring
him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me."

2 Samuel 12:23 NLT
[23] But why should I fast when he is dead? Can I bring him
back again? I will go to him one day, but he cannot return to me."

1 Cor 15:22, For as in Adam all die, even so, in Christ all shall be made alive.
John 3:3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

It takes two for a baby to be born of the flesh and it takes two for a baby to be born of the Spirit.

This happens when our spirit unites with Christ and we ask Jesus into our life Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The Holy Spirit joins with our spirit and we are born of the spirit. Not of sinful flesh as before, instead we become a new spirit-filled creation in Him and He in us.

Only the sheep hear his voice, not the goats. Only those who have been born of the Spirit hear his voice, not the natural man described in 1 Cor 2:14.

(5) "I am telling you the truth," replied Jesus, "that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.
(6) A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.
(7) Do not be surprised because I tell you that you must all be born again.
(8) The wind blows wherever it wishes; you hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. It is like that with everyone who is born of the Spirit." Joh 3:5-8

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Co 2:14 KJV

None of us are endowed with the Holy Spirit at birth, but even so the verse you quote in Corinthians suggests everyone hears the voice of God which most people reject because it is foolishness to them. However, some do respond when they reject the things of the world and let Jesus Christ into their life.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1Co 2:12

Even the goats hear his voice but the sheep follow Him.

With all due respect, you are wrong. You will have to explain to me, how you think, by the wording of 1 Cor 2:14, that the natural man, void of the Spirit, can hear the voice of God.

Jesus said, "You people who hear me, listen!" (Mar 4:9 ERV) They heard Jesus with their ears, and they rejected him. They saw him with their eyes but they rejected Him. They saw miracles but again they rejected Him. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. Joh 1:11. They received not the things of the Spirit of God 1Co 2:14. They turned away from the Lord.

Freewill. The wicked close their hearts and mind as exhibited by Adam and Eve who knew God, they walked and talked with him, but they closed their hearts to the creator and listened to another, turning away from the Lord.

Whether a baby or a person that has never been able to know the difference between right and wrong.
sin Is not Imputed where there Is no law.

Romans 7:7-10
King James Version(KJV)

7.) What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

8.) But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin [was] dead.

9.) For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

10.) And the commandment, which [was ordained] to life, I found [to be] unto death.

Acts 2 :38, tells of some men who were guilty of crucifying Jesus, and they were pricked in their hearts when Peter accused them, indicating that they were already children of God, because their conscience could not have been pricked if they were natural men, void of the Spirit, as indicated in 1 Cor 2:14.

Disobedient children of God turn away from him at times. That is why he tells them to repent. Myself included.
