Yes the man is a mediator when God appoints him as one as He has done in the church ...

1 Corinthians 11:3-4 [SUP]3[/SUP]But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5

God doesn't say for a man to tell a woman what to believe ... She is free to believe anything she wishes ... God only instructs the man to tell her what is true ... After that she is free to do with it as she pleases ...

The Bible says it ... Don't argue with me ... Your grief is with God ... You should ask Him why He made that declaration ...
I wasn't arguing with you. I was making an exclamatory statement.

Which word and in which verse? You were posting above from the OT, but I don’t see where or what word you are talking about!

Really, its quite ironical that I, as a woman, get told I have to listen to my husband’s interpretation of the Bible, and a few posts later, someone is asking me to exegete the Greek.
Thank you for obliging me, though I did only intend it said ironically, as I am confident that you have touched on it somewhere in your writings. The reference speaks to 1 Corinthian 14:35, "If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home..." and whether 'anything' pertains to any thing in particular or anything at all, as some do so 'obviously' see it.

I am dumbfounded that you claim women aren't included in the one mediator between men and God verse, Jesus. I am then stupified that you claim to BE that mediator. I'm just...there's no word for it, really....

1 Timothy 2:8-15 [SUP]8[/SUP]Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. [SUP]9[/SUP]I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, [SUP]10[/SUP]but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. [SUP]11[/SUP]A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. [SUP]12[/SUP]I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. [SUP]13[/SUP]For Adam was formed first, then Eve. [SUP]14[/SUP]And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. [SUP]15[/SUP]But women will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

Will this do? They only teach other women and children.

I only posted the word of God ... So, if you're referring to anyone as being a schmuck, then you have to be calling God that name yourself ... I would advise against that ... If you have a problem understanding His word, then you should pray unto Him and I believe He will help you to understand it ...

It is part of the curse.
Will this do? They only teach other women and children.
Genesis 3:16: "To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”"

Genesis 3:16: "To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”"
This does NOT equate to men ruling over women...

But when a man (2 men now actually) begin to tell ANY person that they are the mediator between them and God, and that women are not included in the one mediator verse, I have 2 choices.
1. Report them, which is to be a nuisance to the mods or
2. Answer a fool IN his folly.

I choose #2, just as I did in the other ridiculous thread. So...

Yap, yap, yap!

Really ??? ... What are those last 5 words again ? ... "he shall rule over you" ... What would you suggest that this means ?
